    3 years later, I still struggle with the hunger/full cue!!! It is much better and the question, "Am I hungry enough to eat veggies?" is a very helpful and useful tool to determine if it is truly hunger or emotions! You are the best, Emmie! Sparkles, joy, and blessings! ✨🥳🙏💕

      Decades ago a friend of mine said she had lost LOTS of weight by controlling her impulse eating, and she did that with one rule. She would only eat (healthy food) if she was hungry enough to eat a stalk of celery first. With this criteria she was able to identify and avoid non-hunger eating.

    EDIT: At 7 minutes, I meant to say that those who ate more PLANTS lost more weight! Thanks for catching that, Healthy Hunnies!

    Hey sweet Emmi! Happy, Happy New Year!! I Love this video! I’m happy to say you changed my life! I love veggies and fruit and the energy level that I now have is unbelievable! Although I do still have back pain, I always will, my energy level now is so high that it gets me through tough days! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 I can do more, want to do more! Where as before on a bad back day (most days) I felt terrible, low, depressed on and on we go!😢 So Miss, “ole NC girl” this lifestyle is remarkable and I will always be grateful to the Lord, for bringing me to you and Dr. M.! ❤ Thanks and Love you!!!

    These are helpful, thank you Emmie i recently went vegan on November 2023 for a few reasons, and i am thankful for going vegan. I am also diabetic and make sure i get my nutrients and vitamins to avoid any deficiencies. My family uses oil for cooking food and i can feel full without cooking oil. Also, as vegan i dont crave meat anymore. I think meat is unnecessary to lose weight because there's many foods you can eat to lose weight, and for your health and mental health.
    I plan on growing my food in my backyard and my father told me spring is best time to grow fruits and vegetables. Wish me luck.

    Ive been eating a high carb low fat diet for a year with zero calorie restriction and i lost 30 pounds. Oil dose virtually nothing for flavor or health because its lamp oil use oil to fuel your home not your body. I never thought in a million years salad with lemon and fries with no oil could be so good but it is the salad and frys stay crispy. Carbs dont make you fat fat makes you fat unless your doing keto but that is so bad for your arteries and heart health.

The problem is, how I dress my salad instead? Have you some ideas or videos about healthy dressing for loose wait? Thanks ❤

    I don’t understand the “just eat the olive” argument when saying not to eat oil. Olives have to be treated or they are inedible. If you go to Israel where olive oil has been made for thousands of years they will tell you people didn’t just eat whole olives off the tree as your argument seems to imply. If you choose to not eat oil for caloric reasons, l understand that. But I’m guessing you never ate a raw olive?

    • @HealthyEmmie

      I don't think she is saying to eat RAW olives, but rather for example canned green olives in brine verses just processed olive oil.

    • @andreaprivett4094
      @andreaprivett4094 Год назад +3

      @@goodvolks2know372 since the program is advocating low salt and whole foods in their more natural state, olives are l think a poor illustration as they cannot be eaten without processing and a fair amount of sodium to be palatable. Maybe someone has come up with a way to consume them that tastes good that isn’t full of sodium but there’s a reason why they were almost exclusively for oil for many years.
