    at 6:38 you can hear how uncomfortable Rodney's Canadian nature is with the concept of tilting/nudging a pinball machine... I imagine that if he did nudge a pinball table he'd immediately apologize to it afterwards.

    • @jobassett7395

      I was thinking the same thing! Even though it's part of the experience, I can see him apologizing.

    Oh boy I've been playing this on super hard mode. I thought you had to roll, say a 3, scribble off the 3 then on a subsequent turn, have to roll a 4 to fill in a whole double box! Took me ages to get any bonuses and skill shots! 😭 Thanks for pointing out my error 💙

      @@wyz1324 Just got this game in the mail today and came for the awesome instruction. But....ummm...I don't want to get anyone started on a new hobby or anything, but video pinball games can be built using a raspberry pi, a TV and a few buttons. I built an arcade machine this way and it is SOOOO fun. Thinking about building a video pinball machine... you can even add nudge mechanisms!

  • @Ishtarru

    I'm not sure how successful they were at replicating the feeling of playing a pinball machine, but it does seem like a game that's just challenging enough.

    • @jobassett7395
      @jobassett7395 3 года назад +1

      I live in an area void of pinball machines, so I will take what I can get. :-) I do agree, though. Nothing like the feeling of playing the actual game, though, including the satisfaction of nudging it.

    I’m hoping that they have an app that makes the ping ping ping sound of a real pinball game. it would also be nice to have background voices and a little bit of music too.

    Rodney's next tutorial should be "how to play pinball," or his next video should be "watch me play pinball." Of course, I don't think he would do a good job getting a high score on a real pinball table.

    question rodney, you can move your ball back to your flipper (give it a lil bump), but could you move it to an out lane from a flipper since the die faces are white?

  • @nitorishogiplayer3465
    @nitorishogiplayer3465 Год назад

    Would this game run the risk of all players copying each other's moves? I've seen that happening before with games where all players can see other's decisions and are allowed to make the same ones, resulting in all ties.
    Or should we take the "simultaneous" part more literally and pick a target for the ball and reveal it on the count of 3, then score?

    • @WatchItPlayed
      @WatchItPlayed  Год назад +1

      I've never had a problem with that, because even if players initially choose some of the same things, eventually they will have their own idea about what move is "best", and make different choices.

    What if your dice don't match anything on the Ferris wheel level, do you drop one zone with the same dice roll, or you roll again and drop one zone?

    • @WatchItPlayed

      Anytime you don't match a spot, you must keep dropping until you do reach a spot with a matching value.
