The best watch coverage period. Its refreshing to watch true and honest coverage vs. the fake hype and drama that dominates the internet when it comes to watches. Thank you Marc
Always the absolute best coverage. Thanks! The new Monaco Split Seconds is a phenomenal piece, however, no one wants a Tag that costs more than $10k. For $130k you can have a collection of APs, Rolex, et al. I am sure they will sell out of the special addition, however you never quite know if the sales and buyers are real. I still have questions as to the authenticity of the auction buyer of a certain brand years ago that set a record and put the company in the ultra luxury market. Said company rhymes with ichard ille.
Hi Marc look like you lost a fair bit of weight...... always nice to catch ur video!!!!!!! Awesome indepth watch world news. H. Moser & Cie for me. Cheers!
Some really nice timepieces Marc Andre. I’ll have to win the lottery before I can invest in any of them. Haha. That Rolex 1908 is really delightful and I’m not usually a fan of Rolex. Great video once again.❤️🙏
I think there are two ways of getting money : go out and find it, or shine so brightly that the money is attracted to you. New brands must slog-it out pursuing the former, while established brands engage in the latter : they shine…and to do so , they must spend massively on advertising and always run the risk of stagnation in product lines because a high churn-rate in luxury brands ironically damages the brand (ask Ferrari in USA). The Swiss know that only war can destroy money (which is why they assiduously avoid it) - money simply moves from one dominant area to another.
I guess AP and Hermes buying or most likely purchasing the industrial arm of Parmigiani is a reminder and reality that the swiss watch industry is a cottage industry and this notion of fully in-house is simply a mirage or a marketing strategy to please consumers that have been asking for in-house or just regular new comers. My philospohy is that swiss watches are great, buy what you like!
Omega opening their testing facilities for timing precision; I know they are not physically improving those watches but only testing them. However, is this some how related to Tudor's now wide spread METAS certified watches? Are they trying to encourage the industry to become more like Tudor or what I mean is create competition that will lose Tudor some of its advantages?
This is the issue with business analytics and why i have stepped away from it; Where is the speculation that the wave of increased market activity in the secondary and retail was from casual consumers that got into the hobby over COVID lock down, not so sure about that. To say it was hobbyists that had extra money, may be but who would make purchases when the economic climate is uncertain? I still doubt all the speculative explanations.

Very interesting and to the point comment, thanks for sharing your view on this
Obviously, M.A.D. should open a MAD watch 😎
Curious - you are from France, or rather Quebec?
Simply from Geneva, Switzerland ;) The best to you

When the music stops, I fear for GF…😢
We really hope all is ok over there too

The Tag looks like a pizza box…sorry😂
An expensive one 🤪
I think Omega is lost in the woods…that Moonswatch business was a sugar-rush and now they have a hang-over….😢
I'm just glad GF hasn't gotten sold/did not get sold and puts emphasis on self owned
Yes, a new chapter is starting ;)
Chanel is drinking its perfume and has lost its mind…
Hahaha, you got me on those one ;)
Just commented to say you look like Jesus in the thumbnail
