Our building is bad also. It's been flooded black mild and lots of vacant apartments that are gutted. Waiting to see if our landlord is going to fix it up as promised or we are gonna end up like this place
Dude seriously. I rented from a prominent local business owner who is easily in the millionaire category and yet the duplex was an utter slum. Neighbors got raided by the police, no thermostat in our apartment, everything was falling apart, carpet was disgusting, etc. The problem is though we had almost no alternative. We make enough to afford a "nicer" place but I also wanna buy a house someday and save for retirement. Basically renting is just paying for the landlords nice house and family life while you live in a slum. Stay classy bemidji
You get the troublemakers out of there vacate them. Sounds like North Minneapolis for crying out loud. It's not just about the safety of the building, the safety of the tenants because of the crime.
Yea, that's gonna do a lot of good. Put a group of people who are already strained in an even more strenuous position and send them out on the streets. It's like evacuating a jail and releasing the criminals to roam free and create mayhem. Just glad we don't do stupid stuff like that in Grand Forks.
Where in the heck are they 2 go unless they are going 2 find them another place 2 go and see 2 it it's the right amount they are paying what u going 2 do is put them on the street and live in a box if u are going 2 remove them u have 2 find a place 2 go before u boot them out boy this world is going 2 pots
Looks just like the reservation the tenants moved from to live there! This is what you get when the landlord is a slumlord and the state is paying the rent for deadbeats.
There are a lot of good people who live there. It's just a few that messed it up. The "reservation" comment is typical from people like you. You want to add to the problem, or be empathetic and step in to help the community? People move in low rent places because there is no other option. I say it's the NETA Property Management that's to blame. For them it's all about money. Fix it up for the families. Put security around. OR create more affordable housing in this area. I live in the area and there are good people who need safe housing. Put yourself in their shoes before you make a idiotic racially profiling comment as such. What if there were your family only wanting a safe place to live? Affordable housing is a big barrier in this area. There are people who live there and do have 1-2 jobs supporting their families. When you sit behind a computer it's easy to say things that are hateful & hurtful. I hope that you will be a part of a solution insteadoftheproblem. It's easier to spread love than it is to spread hate.
😂 This Place is The Ghetto of Bemidji Since I moved In Been nothing But Hella Gun shots, break Ins, My Car was Broken into sadly plus The Landlord Towed my Car But her Excuse is "I tell everyone once a Year"

Pine Ridge should be next
This is a huge eye-opener if I didn’t know this was Bemidji you would swear you were walking in the hallways in Chicago or New York
God the inside makes it look abandoned. I feel bad for anybody who lives there who ain't a crackhead (Knowing mostly they live there)
Well done, Bemidji. Thanks, INewsz tv. Nice to hear that families have been assisted to move, too. THANKS.
Kicking them out does not solve the problem. It just moves the problem someplace else.
Then put them in jail and give him a real home.
That works
Exactly
@@annika6518 tax dollars were already going to the people in that building anyways
@@annika6518 Doesn't matter whatever is done it will cost tax payers until they are held accountable.
Standing by for any update on June 14 Renovation Fire.
Most ppl who commit crime there don't even live there either!!
Well we got crime in St Paul in Minneapolis looks just like it.
Bemidji needs to get rid of all the Slumlords.

Great report
Burn it
So have the cops been doing anything??
I’m betting yes. But I am also betting the bigger question is what are the judges doing once the police make arrests.

How is the crime rate on the Canadian side. Like in Fort Francese?
Blame the justice system for letting these people ruin things.
people had to live in that mess? looks like the slums or some abaondoned building
NO they made that mess.
Why should the landlord fix up and put a ton of money into a building just for the tenants to trash 6 months later?
@@grounded7362 Your being nice giving them six months.
Wow. Nice place. I'm surprised Lee Allen isn't renting it out.
If a slumlord owns it he will count his losses and let it go. Then the city will have to deal with the building

Not all people come from the reservation there's other people lived there also. So don't blames others.
