@@keesmuch because Americans want "a better quality of life", this car was probably built in a factory where the workers are paid pennies compared to the wages of American factories, just look at the exchange rate 1 US dollar = 7 chinese yuan, Average rent in America is 47.11 percent higher than China, that's why most of the manufacturing goes to China, it's just cheaper. We had the same kind of thing in the UK with the coal mines during the 70's 80's, it was cheaper to buy in coal than produce it, think of it like this 100 workers produce 1 ton of coal per day, their wages in America are 10 dollars a day, this means it cost 1000 dollars to produce that ton of coal. Now in another country the 100 workers are paid 2 dollars a day to produce 1 ton of coal, the cost 200 dollars, say it costs 100 dollars to ship the coal that's still 700 dollars cheaper than you can self produce
@@keesmuch we can. The problem is that while Trump is trying to reverse things. There is so many regulations and whatnot and the cost of energy that producing anything in America is expensive. @@Danse_Macabre_125 lol he just made 2 more videos, one video last month on a race track and another video 2 weeks ago that explains how awesome this car really is.
I can't believe so many cars don't have spare tires nowadays. I looked at new Mustang and it didn't have one, just a fix-a-flat system. I told the salesman that this is the dumbest thing I've ever seen because the last time I had a flat tire while driving, the wheel exploded and ripped to shreds. There is no way a fix-a-flat would have been of any use to me then. He said they don't have spare tires as a way to save weight. Okay while we are at it, let's take out the back seat, the radio, the air conditioning, the seat belts, the air bags, the front passenger seat, heck let's just take out the whole dashboard all together. Saving weight my foot!
Jeremy Evans GOOD point! Just doesn’t make sense they put no spare, it’s not even like a cost that much I think, just a few hundred probably for a whole set added to the price of the car. It’s kind of just like a slap in the face when you get stranded and you’re left with a fix a flat kit.

@Ronald FlobJobbin That's one of the many costs of over regulation, previous generations were neurotic about death in auto accidents. So rather then doing the smart thing, creating better drivers, they added a bunch of costly safety features, some dubious, padded into the price of a car, to increase survivability in head on crashes. The problem is that head on crashes only accounted for a small percentage of all auto accidents, and were usually caused by drunk drivers on two lane highways. They also could have come out with a new class of vehicles that were of limited speed, and limited to local roads, but illegal to operate on major highways, like they do with bicycles. But it's politicians (who are mostly failed lawyers), lobbyists, and technocrats/ bureaucrats, who know everything, but understand nothing.
@@olegkostoglotov8800 Wrong, Oleg. A famous book by Ralph Nader called ""Unsafe at Any Speed" detailed the many deaths that occurred from badly designed cars. When I was 16, I was like the only kid in my neighborhood who didn't have a car or the use of a car and this was around 1980. Imagine how that scars you. I saved up for two years to buy the ugliest old pale blue Dodge Dart Swinger that was half misapplied body putty. It actually drove like a dream but I remember hearing people say as I drove by "that thing is a disgrace." These were kids whose parents bought them new cars. I've been a car communist ever since. If they can make a car like that for $900, and it works, it should be illegal to make any other car.
@Misty Nance Wow! That was winning the lottery. I drove way out to a farm where a guy fixed up old cars as a side hustle and I wanted to buy the at least decent looking old Chevy he had. Thank God I took along a friend who knew cars. He made me buy the ugly Dart because according to him, the slant 6 engine was unkillable and dependable and he turned out to be right. That hideous car may have been an embarassment, but it saved my life.
Rodney Kingston I love owning crappy cheap cars. I have never spent more than a few hundred pounds. My last mondeo lasted me five years, I paid £900 and sold it for £500 when I needed an estate car instead. That's less than £2 a week in vehicle cost. The beauty of owning cheap cars is it removes all worry about catastrophic mechanical failures- if anything expensive breaks, you just scrap it. I didn't care when it was damaged in a car park, I didn't care when I reversed into a bollard and cracked the bumper. I could fill it with crap to take to the dump without caring about tearing the headlining or getting soil on the carpet. I have no problem with people who wish to spend fortunes on beautiful luxury vehicles, but personally I'd rather spend on experiences rather than depreciating modes of transport, I certainly wouldn't put in overtime just to pay for a luxury vehicle that spends most of its life taking me back and forwards to work like some kind of perverse vicious circle.
It should be illegal to make any other car? What a sad mentality to have. Kids can be mean but punishing everyone else for your bad childhood makes you worse my friend.
Ridiculous. Lots of us had to get a job to buy our own POS first car too. That's a rite of passage, including having rich kids around whose parents bought them a new BMW. Welcome to reality, now as an adult you can buy any car you can afford. Bet you drive something that costs more than $900 now.
The "Tata" (India) would cost about $2,000 before shipping/import fees and would be better quality but WOULD pass the inspection process. Glad this has bumpers but I worry about the open, exposed trunk, as in "Unsafe at any speed", Ralph Nader's description of the Corvair also had a huge, empty trunk in the front. Qualifies as a golf cart in my eyes.
Around here you could register it for street use if it met requirements for turn signals and etc. Probably about as safe as the mopeds, dirt bikes or atvs used on road.

Compare this car to a golf cart made in America and the American made golf cart will likely be more expensive. I didn't hear where he said this car came from but if it was from China they can sell it for so cheap because they have cheap labor, cheap materials, cheap energy and very few costly regulations. That's why so many manufacturing companies left America because the politicians taxed and regulated the hell out of them to the point that it was cheaper for them to move to china and export their goods back here.

Even the CHEAPEST car comes with a SPARE TIRE!
Full sized spare no less. Even in a fifteen hundred pound go kart with a roof, never trust the donut tire.
The 2020 Charger R/T does NOT have a spare!
Jeremy Evans
GOOD point! Just doesn’t make sense they put no spare, it’s not even like a cost that much I think, just a few hundred probably for a whole set added to the price of the car. It’s kind of just like a slap in the face when you get stranded and you’re left with a fix a flat kit.
42luke roblox I WILL get her a spare and haul it if it takes up the whole trunk. $40,000 car and no spare?! They’re going a LITTLE TOO FAR!

In China, these are called Old people scooter, basically old people drives this, China has alot of old people now. These cars are super unsafe. If you get into a crash, the old peoples die, or their legs get chop off in the crash.
I like the specifics you give. 😃 😆
My parents had money, but I didn’t have a car until my second year of college (1980) and then it was a used Chevy. Get therapy guy.

This thing, is not even classified as "car" in China. You can't legally get a plate for it and drive it on streets
It will ride with the golf carts in the gated retirement communities...if it has AC!
You can register it as an LEV (light electric vehicles) in the Philippines. You can drive it on Municipal Roads but not on National Highways.
No seatbelts. That's like not using oven mitts jumping into a volcano.
