its ok they respawn after they exit the building lol. Guess bungie thought it was easier to make all the marines respawn at the exit instead of fixing their AI
my middle school friend and i used to try to get to it for ages! forgot all about it till this episode. we would throw grenades at the marines too because they would go wild lol
Flashbacks to Halo 4: I'm out of ammo, I'll just park this vehicle here and come back to it later. Vehicle deloads, doors seal the area off. After that 343i started doing the annoying boss battle arenas. I don't believe their world exists because they use too many tricks. Bungie has more of a persistent world.
Even though the barrier is above the light bridge, it's still lower than the tops of the vehicles. Back in the day, I would ride a sentinel down to the bridge then be able to jump off it and land on a warthog or scorpion, after many failed attempts
I grew up on halo. I remember getting an xbox and Halo:CE for Christmas and playing it with my brother. I love watching oir videos of things I alway wanted to explore but obviously never could. great videos man!
when the game starts to get all choppy looking like its crashing, its just the cache building up with a lot of the reverts, things that happen and effects, notice how when he retries it goes back to normal? thats after the cache is cleared
There's just something cool about getting places in video games that you weren't meant to get to, especially in Halo when there's so many random easter eggs, secrets, and fully-textured spaces outside of the map
I don't genuinely laugh often but this was hilarious and amazing to watch, been playing halo since 1 and always lived little tips and tricks like this! From one Creator to another, Keep up the good work brother!
This is one of your best tricks by far imo. The fact you made it down then launched yourself back up is next level. Very fun video but I do feel bad for you when you’re stressing lol I feel stressed for you so I feel bad. But you always pull through, can’t wait to see what you got next week stay safe brotha!
Brings a lot of memories from old times, spending hours with friends just going into campaign and doing every out-of-bounds that we had heard about. And boy did Halo 3 have a lot of them xD Thanks for reviving that.
Barrier breaking in Bungie Halo is an art form and I am all here for it. I remember when I use to do this stuff too when I was a teen, an watching RUclips videos on how to sequence break or boundry break a level just for the fun of it. Its so cool to pull off.
Frig I love your content man. So much nostalgia and just so entertaining. I like how you take the extra time to consider us and the viewing experience. Keep it up man love it!
This brings me joy. After getting all the achievements in halo 3 back in the day and getting all the achievements in halo mcc a few years back I thought I did everything in halo 3. Your videos bring me back to freshman year of high school learning about secret ways to get recon or getting a 5 star general overnight. Your content is so great keep the videos coming!
I think my favorite barrier to try and break through in Halo 3 when I had my Xbox 360, was the fenced off area by the spot where you fight a brute chieftan and two hunters on the level The Storm. That one took me a couple hours to complete.
I can't believe I'm just discovering your channel. All the crap that RUclips recommends me that has nothing to do with games and being a gamer you would think this would of been one of them. Their algorithm is broken. You are amazing
The lag you experienced during the 3 wraith wall-clip probably is what made it so easy. There are several breaching methods in Destiny that are much easier when you cap your FPS as low as possible. There's also some glitches that happen when your fps is so high like slightly increased vehicle gravity, it's a strange game engine lol.
I want you to know how much I appreciate your work. Halo is my favorite game series; 3 is probably my favorite game of all time. I don't feel well and your videos are distracting. Your hours of work does matter to people whether they express it or not.
This is awesome because I used to do a time travel glitch where you would walk up on tons of frozen elites and I think even the scarabs and I haven’t seen anything like it in years
The reason they did some of the textures and never finished was they were planning on using the areas for PVP maps but gave up after making a few other maps.
I used to think i was an expert at getting vehicles where they weren't intended to go in Halo. Fitting s warthog through that door never even occurred to me. I must relinquish my crown.
not Designing underside textures is a problem that plagues Destiny 2 to this day LOL glad to see they haven't changed in 17 years. I never did get into the major glitches in Halo like you do so its always good to see someone breaking my other favorite bungie series
Earned my sub, that was definitely really entertaining to watch, although i felt frustration with you when you struggle to clip through the door again and the warthog launching
Ok getting to the light bridge was genuinely my childhood mission. Im glad it was only doable in a way I would have never figured out or I would have been sad haha
its also easier to push a ghost through the doors via someone already in it and hitting it with a chopper, i think it also works if you arent in it either. it ends up flipping the ghost pretty easily and the chopper guns flip it easy. pretty sure you can do the same thing with the warthog too. theres also hidden "cracks" in walls to get to certain places aswell, but sometimes it just clips u in the wall.
I like how people are still finding ways to get out of barriers and into secret Areas. Wished tue new games encouraged or put secrets into the outside of the maps.
Oh my God I tried to get down there forever ago when I first played by trying to ride a sentinel Down back when I was 14 I spent so many hours doing it lol this video is amazing for finally showing me what's Down there thank you for satisfying a childhood mystery
I actually got to the bottom of that pit several years ago on the 360 version. I forgot about it until now since it was so underwhelming. I mean it was exciting to get everything down there and finally get under the barrier and down to the bottom, but it was too much time wasted for very little gain. It was so dumb. Once I got down there and explored a little, I quickly got bored and quit.
my friends and I would try throwing grenades under the wathogs in a way that bounced them up and towards us (but timed without jump).... every time we touched one we died.
After watching a bunch of your videos I really am missing halo. Last one I played was reach on 360 then moved over to ps3 and stayed on PlayStation but now I really am missing it. Miss the custom games on 3 and reach. Damn think i might buy a pc mainly to replay halo
First one to do it using just the game? probably one of them 🤔 but in general? nah you can go down there now if you want to lol he did it the hard way on purpose
"....but for some reason, my game was basically crashing now."
I can't imagine why.
Lol
Homeboy out here intentionally glitching the fuck out of the game the entire time. lmao.
That damn bridge. I remember spending the entire mission saving all the ODSTs and marines just to watch them drive off the bridge
its ok they respawn after they exit the building lol. Guess bungie thought it was easier to make all the marines respawn at the exit instead of fixing their AI
That one unemployed friend on a Tuesday
I think this is what my roommate does instead of looking for a job
i love the lightbridge only because how stupid the ai are, fun to watch them struggle to cross the bridge
It was pretty good for the time tho 😅
@@ThatSeshGuy oh yeah for sure, at the time halo 3 had some of the best ai, i love the ai in halo 3 anyways though they are funny yet smart
Which games have better AI? It's not Infinite--the Marines can't drive and nobody can use the grappling hook except the player.
@@3mpt7 no halo game probably, maybe halo reach but halo 3s ai while dumb are also fun
my middle school friend and i used to try to get to it for ages! forgot all about it till this episode. we would throw grenades at the marines too because they would go wild lol

Yeah, i liked the way bungie went about level design better. The way they went about level design was more intuitive and fun to abuse.
Agreed, 343 destroyed it for me. Their story progression sucked too
Even though the barrier is above the light bridge, it's still lower than the tops of the vehicles. Back in the day, I would ride a sentinel down to the bridge then be able to jump off it and land on a warthog or scorpion, after many failed attempts
The longer you watch the marines, all of them take a tour of the pit below. It’s great fun!
i think i have tried to jump on that bridge every single time I've played the level knowing it was impossible.
*thinking* it was impossible
Back when it first came out people already figured out how to get to the light bridge. I don’t think anyone tried to go beneath it.
@@VikingCarter Technically it is without the time travel glitch
@@BurzGroKhash009or with mods. can just go down there directly
I used to ride those little drones down there and try to jump on the scorpion 😂
I grew up on halo. I remember getting an xbox and Halo:CE for Christmas and playing it with my brother. I love watching oir videos of things I alway wanted to explore but obviously never could. great videos man!
1:17 Lil sentinel bro just wanted a hug.
honestly i was amazed when you got the warthog through the first door lmao i wouldn’t have guess it was possible in a million years.
when the game starts to get all choppy looking like its crashing, its just the cache building up with a lot of the reverts, things that happen and effects, notice how when he retries it goes back to normal? thats after the cache is cleared

did the exact same thing

why waste resources on a literal area that requires multiple glitches to even reach?

He's a man of focus, commitment and sheer fucking will
There is an easy way to fix this issue, assembly master chief tick the cannot die from damage box and that's it, no kill barrier can ever kill you
Getting that ghost through was pretty impressive.
And they did it another 10 times the next day for that row ghosts lol
You're a legend, keep being one!
Honestly this is impressive. I would’ve never thought or after that first reset, wanted to continue lol.

That was cool, I loved trying to find places like this back in the day
I can already feel the "How 2 git recon" energy coming from this.

The pit reminds me of flying a banshee down to the bottom of the pit in the control room in the first halo
I only ever managed to get onto the vehicles on the bridge. I think if you try to get inside the vehicles you die due to the death barrier though.
Love this man’s love and dedication for halo !
Master chief always seems to be doing side quests during important missions
I actually got to the bottom of that pit several years ago on the 360 version. I forgot about it until now since it was so underwhelming. Man this would've taken like 10 minutes on pc, disabling death barriers then spawning a banshee would've been easy. I'm only two minutes in though.

That was the scarab gun for me.
Got it first try then after that I could never do it without the banshee exploding in the tunnel.
I’m very impressed you are still finding new Halo 3 content in 2024. This game is older than my girlfriend!
The bottom of the pit would have made an amazing Multiplayer Forge Map, a perfect place for some Grifball.
Amazing videos man
Found this place in 2012 by modding forge on campaign, neat to see that you can get there without modding.
Does anyone know what happened to CN Nier? Or CM Nier? Idk I can't remember, but they used to crazy stuff like this all the time.
I cant tell you, how many times i have tried to go on that brigde in 17 years 😅😂 Thanks you to realised my dream bro ! 💪
bro is just raw dogging this door way

Man after all that it was just a empty pit 😂I thought there was going to be a hidden multiplayer map down there or something cool
2:45 - 3:45 you're actually a halo genius
Fun fact I’m the kid that does this 24/7 for the laughter of a vehicle being inside
You're funny when you get angry, should get angry more often
This is amazing!
I haven’t scratched my glitching itch like this in years
Ah yes, the bridge where we always lose at least one warthog lol
Now fit 3 wraiths through that small door
