Found this channel a week ago and ive been addicted. I used to do glitches and stuff with my friends in all the Halo games growing up and this takes me back to good times. You also have shown me a ton of awesome glitches or challenges ive never even seen before! And the music in your vids also always kickass!
Really gotta admire the classic Halo tricking dedication. All that drive and determination to see a trick fulfilled takes patience and constitution many of us lack. Nicely played.
I'm glad that there's a channel that is literally soothing my inner child and it's weird obsessive nature of wanting to break out of maps and levels in games and halo being one of my favorite game series to break out of. Seriously tho it's amazing that you have a channel that is dedicated to this kind of niche you're probably one of my favorite channels on RUclips at the moment purely because of videos like this. As soon as i see the videos pop up i just click immediately knowing im about to see a professional at work here, kudos to you and this channel i hope you keep making videos like this forever on some level or another even if you have to start doing it on another game.

I personally like seeing the fails. Your personality and how you rage in some of these videos is a lot of the funny stuff. Long form content is king, and people can skip through if they want the end-product, simple as that.
These videos remind me of when I was a kid playing Halo 2 on the original Xbox finding a way to glitch out of bounds in outskirts in Halo 2. Good times... Keep the vids coming!
This is a very small area but on the last mission where the floating nude guy easter egg is, you can actually get to the bottom of that pit from the very end of the tunnel. You will get caught in an elastic barrier and unable to get out or have anywhere to go, but it's neat to do. Honestly, it would be really cool to see a video of a ton of small random spots in halo you can get to, but ones that wouldn't be able to be a full video. Might be neat!

Are you often the first and you’re finding these map exploits yourself? Or is there an underground community and you all communicate strategies? Some of these areas are so bizarre and take so long to reach, it seems improbable that others have done this. @TheShiltShow curious to hear your perspective on the novelty and history of boundary breaking in Halo 3. Maybe a future video topic?

Completely insane!! 5:26 Are you using the weapon offset on mcc settings? if not, It could help a lot on that kinda of stuff, make the weapon less visible on the hud
if u use the official mod tools, u can get some great footage / screenshots from any angle from the map, load multiple BSPs at the same time, and toggle level collision visibility, i think it would add a very clear visual demonstration of the places ur getting to! :3 i could help if needed ofc. as always, love ur dedication for Halo trick perfection (:

i was noticing the turret would get farther and farther with every bounce unless you deflected it to the side, i think the secret is getting it to deflect sideways every time to absorb the downward motion that way you can't get it far enough below you to get death timer
it looks like you get a good sideways deflect when you land on the corner of the wide part of the turret, with the 4 prongs, it spins out sideways and then stabilizes instead of falling down so far
My 5 year old son began taking interest in the games I was playing about 6 months ago, which was TOTK and Jedi survivor, and watched me play through God of war Ragnarok. But I'm the past month he noticed MCC on Xbox and after I built him a custom Xbox controller, Halo was the first game he played with it and instantly became enamored with the idea of a Spartan and MJOLNIR armor, are yes judge me IDC he loves the covenant races as much as B-1 and other droids, Vader, and pretty much anything about space militaries and refuses to play Zelda anymore even though I bought him a switch with all Zelda games on it. Anyways, we been playing co-op Halo and RUclips obviously found out, and not just that but my favorite thing to do in Halo (and Jedi) games is break them and get OOB and watch the glitchy hilarity and laugh together. But we been breaking out of all the halo levels in Halo 2 and RUclips was all "hey watch this I know everything about you and even know how you play games so you're going to automatically love this channel" Long story short; ........ Yes. We love you and this channel i can't stop watching your videos breaking Halo is a life long hobby of mine as well and it's beautiful to learn that I'm not alone.
I think the distance the turret was falling was based on where you landed on it? So if you hit it straight on then it went the furthest amount down, but if you hit it to the side it fell less due to some of the momentum being sideways. Could be wrong tho
it seems like it falls inconsistently some times when youre jumping off it, its going slower than other times. really odd half the time after your 3rd jump its got too much distance between you and the item and you die. what it looks like to me is when you made it successfully your jumps were on the edge of the item so it twirls more so the distance between you and the item is less.
I find it pretty funny the master chief can survive a fall from practically orbit but cant survive a 3 second fall. I know why they did it but its just a rather funny point to me.
So my wife and I went to see Deadpool & Wolverine last night. It was awesome btw. I bought two large popcorn but my wife couldn’t eat even a quarter of it so I brought it home. Turned on the tv this morning and saw there was a new Shilt Show video. I proceeded to eat the popcorn while watching this nail biting video and I realised I must have looked like the Michael Jackson meme. 😂
Not sure if you ever will read this comment, but have you tried crouch jumping onto the turret and time your first jump so that it exactly takes 3 seconds to reach the turret? It so many times looked like you only need 1 more second to reach the floow.
