I absolutely love this channel. I've watched every video that's over 10 minutes long and I'm glad you have an audience. You're in a niche of a niche within a niche for content creation and you'd probably be able to solve cancer or find the next digit of pi if you tried but I'm so glad you're making these Halo videos for us.
I love how now, with the mod tools, you can just remove death barriers or give yourself god mode and go anywhere :D. However, I like how you do it without the mod tools for the console boys.
I have another Halo 2 challenge for you. On the Delta Halo mission, there's a seemingly infinite number of enemy ghosts that spawn on legendary. I challenge you to beat my record of stealing as many as you can and parking them on the extendable bridge. My record is 40. I have a screenshot of them parked in rows. I did this on 360, so recording would be from my phone but I can upload a video if you want. Update: I was able to get 42 on MCC, but they despawned as soon as I parked 41 together. So I uploaded a video of them all apart.
I used to create saves and new profiles for each skull, activate the skull, and then quit so I could activate each skull for my normal play through. Later on, bungie and 343 added toggle for skulls, but this is how I did it myself. I named each profile by each skull. I made sure that I had a checkpoint before collecting the skull. Saving and quitting and then leaving it like that. Simply continuing from the last checkpoint of that profile allowed me to activate the skull each time. That's when I discovered the infinite ghost glitch of Delta Halo. Because I did the infinite camo glitch for the map, I could easily collect as many ghosts as I wanted and loaded them up by the bridge along with all the warthogs, tank, and 2 wraiths. Because it was the OG Xbox and around 2006 hehe.. no camera, no evidence, just memories. Just glad I wasn't the only one who figured this out at a time without internet.

Some of my favorite memories as a kid are from Halo 1 and 2. My friends and I spent more time trying to find glitches and breaking the game. I'm so happy to see people are still doing that
So, taking a quick guess: The reason that bridge and those platforms were untextured in anniversary graphics is because thise are cutscene objects. Recall that the boss fight platforms are condensed together before Tartarus activates Halo. In H2 Classic the cutscene is rendered in-engine. So those platforms are the H2 Classic Cutscene Platforms. They don't show up n normal H2A game play because the trigger for moving them and disabling them is hidden behind Blur's pre-rendered cutscene.

After all that time and dedication to getting those vehicles up to the door and getting the clip to work and it was like **fistpump** YEAH only for the door to not open? 😑 I felt that in my *soul* so I can only imagine how you felt! The fun/frustrating experimental trial and error is all part of the great journey (pun intended) to solve the puzzle. Congrats on completing the trick. If the Acrophobia skull is optional, then, you could've got to the bottom of the pit in single player.

Always nice to see an alternative route, though, well done. I don't have MCC, so, correct me if I'm wrong. The corner rides at 13:58, I find the first and third drops impossible. You're not traversing side to side and it's not a realistic corner to stick to, either. Have you used the Acro to get down?

Some of the stuff you see in videos is me going back and re-filming parts of the video I didn’t think turned out well or when I’m saying something I can’t put in a video. For example, I showed Miranda Keyes outside of Crow’s Nest but I actually had to film it twice from two different perspectives.
@@TheShiltShow Understandable, especially for making vids look better. In several vids, I've redone stuff to make it look better or because of lost footage. In one vid, I used the wrong footage, but because it was a very minor item, no one noticed and didn't call me out on it lol, then again, not many watch my vids. Mostly, I like to use one profile for continuity purposes, but it can be tiresome recording tricks in one playthrough, as you well know.

I've clipped through that door before without that complicated ghost, wraith, banshee set up. But yeah the 2nd door remains locked. If i recall correctly i just put the back of the banshee while boosting really close to the door then exist.
These kinds of videos brings back a lot of good memories for me I loved to play this game when I was a kids and I loved to do glitches sadly I don't remember how I did them but I do know I managed to clone Johnson on this level and it was really fun
This is a dope video, here's another challenge: on The Great Journey, you can spawn a Heretic Banshee for you to use. It's gold-colored, and I found it as a kid, with almost no evidence even to this day of it's existence (there are a FEW forum posts). It's the only one in the game you can pilot I'm pretty sure. It has a specific set of conditions to get it to spawn, and it has something to do with riding the Scarab to the end of the level, hopping in and out of the Banshee, and destroying the Wraiths quickly enough. I don't know how I ever saw it that one time, and I remember trying for days to get it to spawn again, but I think it would be cool if you tried, I think you have the determination to do so. I remember it spawns after the last tower coming out of the canyon before the lake on the right.
There's a pair of the HBs you can fly. Well done for finding them as a kid. None of the specific set of conditions you mention are needed. There's a HB cancellation zone, all we need to do is walk through that area (no vehicles allowed) and the HBs will turn up every time.
This is a well known Easter egg… All you have to do is not get into a vehicle until you get to the banshee section near the end of the level then it’ll spawn.

If you've got any future tricks planned for this level. The pair of beach wraiths can be used as a CCP (custom CP), destroy them both for a CP. Hard to tell but this might be the CP you get at 7:50? They can be customized even further. Hijack both wraiths, now destroy one of them, move the second one to where you want and destroy it for the CCP. On rare occasions, the CCP can get cancelled due to the Scarab's shot overloading the game but Mono's Scarab pilot hijacking should now stop this happening. Technically, there's 4 CPs associated with the pair of beach wraiths:- 1st CP- as we approach the concrete structures, a CP will trigger and the wraiths load in. 2nd CP- when we hijack the first wraith quickly (awkward to get this one). 3rd CP- hijack both wraiths and destroy them (as mentioned above). The elusive 4th CP- hijack both wraiths, move them to where you need to, destroy 1st wraith for a CP, destroy 2nd wraith for another CP. I've only seen the double wraith CP once. So far, failed to recreate it, but that was before the Scarab pilot hijacking was known.
its nice to finally see a halo youtuber prefer the better graphics for once. Everyone plays in the old rust and while I did grow up on the older games I moved on to enjoy better things and the old graphics now make me motion sick. Its harder to watch those other halo youtubers play in those games.
For future reference, should you need to do something similar. At around 4:20 when you are trying to remove the wingtips from the wraith and accidently kill it, you could have refreshed the wraith's health by entering and exiting it between grenade throws, or otherwise protected the wraith by sticking the wingtip and then driving the wraith in time for the grenade to explode. In Halo 2-3 (and ODST) vehicle health is synced with the occupant's health, which is left as is when nobody is occupying it. This is why vehicles in both of these games can't be destroyed without the occupant(s) being killed because the vehicle's health is tied to their health. Exceptions for the ghost's power core in Halo 2 (Player's ghost are immune to this in campaign, just like how players in campaign are immune to headshots) and the wraith's rear vent in Halo 3. This was changed in games released after Halo Reach, where the vehicle has its own health independent of the occupants'.

Do you already have a video about the secret NPC's hidden outside of Bog on halo 1? (I think there's like 3 soldiers and 2 flood that don't attack you) If not I would love to see you find them!
For the record, i enjoy the classic graphics. If only it classic had the dynamic light and shadows it was supposed to have, due to time and engine constraints. Things would be so much more vibrant if they put it in the game for the 20th anniversary. But thats just a dream

Love the dedication, but I did notice... I can see you get a checkpoint at 7:52, and then talking about having to spend 45 minutes getting all the vehicles back up there. Is that a mistake?
I was just about ready to hop on Halo 2 campaign. I get vehicles in there all the time to defeat tartarus. It is pretty easy. I find the easiest way to destroy the wings on the wraith is to go up against a wall and shoot the wall. Splash damage will take the wings right off. I use that trick when I high jack the wraith right at the end of metropolis to defeat the 3 wraiths and destroy all the things attached to the phantom. Easy peasy.
My and my brother would spend hours and hours doing this kind of thing before we had internet I would love to know how many hours we spent playing halo 2 on our beat up xbox

I was just about ready to hop on Halo 2 campaign. I get vehicles in there all the time to defeat tartarus. It is pretty easy. I find the easiest way to destroy the wings on the wraith is to go up against a wall and shoot the wall. Splash damage will take the wings right off. I use that trick when I high jack the wraith right at the end of metropolis to defeat the 3 wraiths and destroy all the things attached to the phantom. Easy peasy.
