Oh damn, that's my Doom mod at 52:42. Thanks for playing it along with all these awesome mods! The level description says that because you can fly the pelican to the last tower straight away and barely get into it through a gap in the wall, thus skipping the other two towers. Discovered that on my second playthrough as a kid and have never played the level properly since, outside of bug-testing the mod. Also the object on the floor under Chief is placed to check the distance between the floor and the player because scripting is goofy, and you left a crater outside the pelican because there's a ground pound ability activated by melee-ing in mid-air, which activated when you pressed melee to make the pelican descend and the explosion activated once you were on the ground again. The next thing I'm working on is adding Eternal's weapon swapping, ammo, and health systems, plus _maybe_ a Doomslayer model to replace 343 Chief so if you liked the mod, there's that. Dope video, glad it was put in my recommendations. The part where you screamed curses upon Joe Staten's name whilst breaking your monitor over your knee in a blind rage at 1:13:16 was a bit much, but outside of that this vid's really entertaining. About to watch the Skyrim one now.
yo that's so cool! your mod was actually really fun to play, and adding in all those other features from doom eternal would make halo 4's campaign infinitely more fun. not to brag, but I struggled an obscene amount to complete doom eternal's campaign and dlc on nightmare, so you could say I enjoyed the game explanations of level skip glitch is cool, personally thought the description is cause you can basically fly with the jetpack-double jump-dash combo and groundpound is now even funnier to me. I'd like to think the devs intended it as simply a nod to lore accurate chief, but 343i would never and yeah, probably shouldn't have done that cause now I've gotta buy a new monitor :/
Hey, thanks for playing my mod! I worked on H2 Silly edition and then handed it off to another modder so they could fix some stuff and upload it to the steam workshop as "Sillier edition". I have an answer as to why it's actually easier than I originally intended: I only balanced it for the tag test version of H2. When I realised the difficulty was not the same in the proper game, I was just too lazy to go back and change more things!
splicing in that theatre mode footage made this vid so much more than it could have been. this also opened my eyes to how many great mods there are for the series, i was kind of underestimating the number of playthrough worthy mods were out there

ultimate firefight is genuinely a good way to spend an afternoon and make it feel like 2007 again, you're chuggin' mtn dew, you got pizza rolls in the oven, and you're blasting through aliens without a care in the world. for once, all is right in the world, you don't have to worry about anything but the game. for the first time in a decade, I forgot about my adult issues and I was 14 again, if only for an afternoon.
for halo 4 the thing that says "you're going to skip two thirds of this level" is in reference to being able to skip the first 2 towers and fly the pelican in between the cracks of the third one and enter the door using the jetpack thus skipping 2 thirds of the level

Yeah, you can usually see them fighting across the gap and they have like 1 hp so the flood can overwhelm them.
