The warm temps ate great. Nice.
Movie night with hippies bring some special brownies
It’s legal here 😜
Snowbird Sequence Initiated, good for you! enjoy!
Well hope you get to feeling better
Ever experienced the Clueless Camper running a Generator through the night while Disrupting Everyone else's peace and quiet.. nothing worse than spending hours or days traveling to get out in nature get your Camp all set up then have it ruined by a thoughtless person blasting a stereo or operating a loud vehicle....
Thanks for sharing this awesome video of the area.
Beautiful spot to camp! Take care of yourself!
Nice to see you back on the road. America sure has a wild and beautiful landscape.
I like how you Circle for Safety and check everything!
Beautiful place! Hope U get well soon!
I was in show low when I watched this video, went to that Maverik, and salt river canyon was a experience in my big bus. The drive was beautiful for sure. Used this video to stay at oak flat campground right next to where you stayed.
Hope you feel better! Thank you for taking the 60 back to PHX. IMO it is the most beautiful drive in AZ! Just don’t come that route south in the last hour of the day. The sunset will blind you and then you will go around a curve it will go dark then next turn you’re blinded again. It makes for a wild ride.
I got to camp once when I was a teenager at the bottom of the canyon. We had rope we could grab on to after we slid down the rapids.
Now I realize how crazy dangerous that was LOL!
100% true on that sun blinding thing. Been there, done that. Finally pulled over till it was below the horizon.
But that drive is truly breathtaking.
I love being in the passenger seat (virtually) while you’re driving but man I’m dizzy 😵💫 😂❤
Feel better soon.
You certainly can shut off outside air when you run your ac. Might be a max air button, that will recirculate cabin air. But there is always a way. May have to resort to the owners manual or ask a dealer.
Sorry to hear that you are feeling a bit under the weather. Hopefully all clears up very soon. Nice drive, and you tok the road at a wise speed. You did find a nice camping spot. Enjoy being on the road... hugs to you and the kitties.
❤ Get better soon, love and blessings 😊 🙏
Cool campground.great time of the year. Awesome awesome awesome!
Catching up....feel better ..... cool to see AZ
My vote is for Cracker Barrel , come on good food safe spot can’t go wrong.
Come see us at the Boyce Thompson Arboretum, we are just down the road, we volunteer here for the winter, you would love it, there is day rv parking
Hope you start feeling better!
yess, score, an eric video to watch with dinner ! that makes my night.
HAPPY Thanks, Giving😊
Hippies! Lol!
@ERIC, TARA AND OPIE THANKS FOR SHARING THIS VIDEO WITH US. BE SAFE IN YOUR TRAVELS ❤❤
Put A/C on Max that's recirculate on Fords
Hey. Watch the "hippie" slang there boy 😁😉. Some of us lived thru it and still are in our hearts. When you want to camp just be grateful with what you get. Its a nice place. Great scenery for the trip. Hope you feel better
Eric would be considered a hippie in the 60s. Sometimes I believe he pushes buttons just to. Complain about who's complaining
Be careful, if the infection hits the inner ear you may get very dizzy. Cover one eye if that happens and you can maybe get to a doctor
What a great view coming down 60. kinda scary but pretty.
Eric we love youuuu. Feel better. Don’t worry I’m standing six feet away from my iPad. I won’t catch it from you. Thanks for a beautiful video.
Hope you feel better. That was not a bad spot.
American Made Vehicles only recirculate on Max Air .
Thanks for sharing
Thank you so much for all the information on Arizona. We moved from Oregon to the Prescott area a year ago and want to explore our new state. I take all kinds of notes when I watch your videos and we plan on checking out many of the areas you have shown. Hope you feel better soon and enjoy your winter travels.
I'm actually considering looking for land in the Show Low-Concho-Vernon area.
It's always a good idea to walk around your rig and check things out every time you stop.
Welcome to the SouthernBell Southern South Again Eric😊
Thanks for the quick response
Hopefully you will feel better soon see yah Eric and Tara an Opie hugs always
Feel better Eric.
The scenery is beautiful. I love looking at rocks. Your campground is pretty nice and it should give you a chance to recover from the infection you have. I'm looking forward to your future travels. Take care of yourself, Tara and Opie.
Hope you feel better soon.
Welcome to wonderful southern AZ in the winter. I’m here now, going into The Valley next week.
Snake got nice waterfalls
hope you feel better soon...
You are only 42. It’s not too late to stop smoking.
That hwy 60 drive is pretty amazing! We did it just two weeks ago, Nov. 1st. We camped in Show Low at the Fool Hollow Rec Area. We kept an eye out in town for you and Kevin. We LOVED the Trumped Store! Came down to Mesa on hwy 60 pulling a 40 foot fifth wheel. My hubs said over and over that he was thankful for that diesel brake on our truck. We saw all kinds of semis and campers on that road. Crazy beautiful drive! Be safe. Be happy!
If you can’t hear, you may have a ruptured eardrum. That happened to me in the spring, when I drove in the mountains when I was congested. If that’s what happened, it will heal and the hearing will come back, but it will take a few weeks.
Feel better !
Nice drive. Not we did it in the RV but homer & sam drove it coming back from Tucson getting a free industrial generator for the property here in Snowflake.
Take care of your self. Katt
Ooooohopeyoufeeeeeeellbetter oh great one😮
I've driven the truck and 5th wheel through there and didn't have any problems at all. Thanks for sharing the experience!!!
Pat
Yep, my husband took that route and he was driving a uhaul and it was pretty scary!
BRO.. YOU SHOULD HAVE RAN IT WITH BLACK BETTY AND THE RV!!!❤❤❤❤❤
I'd ride back up that road you just came down. It looks awesome
It’s worth it if you’re not a scaredy cat. Lots of passing lanes. Eric’s RV did great.
@@azlady8102 I'd definitely ride my Harley up and down it. And stop and get pictures.
@@SuperHddeuce stopping for pics is a MUST!!!
Definitely going to and that road to my list.
@SuperHddeuce One of my youngest's fav HD ride. He, his older brother and dad have done it a time or 2.
🐸 Glad to see your camper & toad safely maneuvered the switchbacks. At the point where you decided to pass the semi I would have been hesitant. Better to have such in front of one should it’s brakes overheat with limited areas for an out-of-control semi to pull off. Your video definitely affords other rv’ers the possibility of such an adventure.
Mornin!
We were driving through the canyon to Show Low a few years back when I caught motion in my peripheral vision. Looked over, and there were two USAF fighters flying up the canyon. They were actually below us! We watched as they followed the canyon at high speed and disappeared around a bend. It was an amazing experience I wish I could do again!
FYI Salt River Canyon is called the Little Grand Canyon.
There are some white water rafting tours that embark at the bottom of the canyon. There’s a campground down there by the bridge. I’m going to check it out next time I go that way.
We used to go tubing all the time on the salt river. They rent tubes and have a bus system. It's pretty cool.
Awesome video
don't worry about the ear Eric, it is just the change in air pressure that is messing with you
What happened to the video after this one….?
We may never know. Unless it was meant to be visible later not immediately after upload.
i noticed that too. i waited til the hubby got home, we were going to watch it together and it was gone.
Aww feel better Eric
Looking forward to all the quirks you find along the way. Well wishes.. :D
good vid thanks lee
GOOD MORNING BEAST NOMADIC FANTASTIC ERIC JAX RUclips VIDEO 🐈🐈
Enjoy the warm weather. Safe travels.
Blessings. Thanks for sharing.
MAX A/C setting should shut out, outside air and only recirculate
Conon Eric coughing 😂
I'm heading out to AZ this winter. Im getting excited. Thanks for the great vid.
Feel better soon, thanks for the videos.
Get well soon! 🙏
Hey Eric! Love what you’re doing 😊
Awe, that's so not a good feeling with stopped up, deafing ears. I hope you feel better soon.
I loved the driving views.
I have camped at Oak Flat campground a lot. It’s a nice campground. Different, but nice. I like it.
Opie's whiskers are soooooooooo long ! I love it !
Right there with you, fever, drainage, ears so much fun. Be careful on them switchbacks can be tricky. I did them 2 years ago and had to be towed back down to Apache Junction, still need to drive them again to conquer my fear. I will do it. Hope you feel better soon. Take care!
Really sweet campsite Eric. You have a super setup. Thanks for the video.
Nice to see you on the road again. Try a decongestant to relieve the pressure in your ears and sinuses.
3 alternators in 2 years / sounds like need alternator sponsorship 😅
Wow, I wouldn’t go down that road! Glad you found a camping spot. Hope your ear opens up before you continue on.🥰😻😻
3:50 Campervan Kevin moment
Eric you’re pretty brave taking that route! 😅 But definitely worth the views! You’re in my neck of the woods, the temps are perfect! Enjoy!
Taking an RV with a trailer on that road is very difficult on the equipment. I just did that ride from Apache Junction traveling to the north east. But I was in my Jeep and left my rig back at the Lost Dutchman Campground. I highly recommend people not take motorhomes, fifth wheels or other heavy equipment through the salt river area unless they really have to.
I was rather surprised to see a semi truck taking such a risk as I’d imagine there’d be limited pull-offs if any should the brakes overheat. Possibly this semi driver was familiar with the route confident low gear would eliminate brakes overheating.
@@jamesscott1932 confidence is crucial that’s for sure! Eric seems experienced and confident enough!
My ear does that I hate it. Hope you feel better soon.
YOU ARE THE BEST CONTENT CREATOR!! SO MUCH EFFORT CAN BE SEEN THROUGH YOUR VIDEOS!!
If you don't have a fever, a mixture of 1T honey, 1T crushed garlic, & 1T Turmeric, mix well and take a teaspoon full every 4 hours. Makes a great natural antibiotic. If all else fails, try to see a Dr. & get some Ivermectin.. Best wishes for you new journey of trails & travels!
You can definitely hear that you’re driving in Arizona with all the banging and noise from our lovely smooth roads.
Hope you get to feeling better soon!! Nice spot to spend a few days. Happy trails to you!! Blessings, ~Alice
Well, Eric, now that you’re in Arizona, you can start looking for that four season Super C RV with a garage. Time to get rid of that old, old Freida (correction, small RV) that you have now.
I've found a few. I will make that change eventually. :)
Awesome view and drive.
Holy crap WTH sh!t is flying in the rig today 🙀
Thank you for the video Eric, Hang in there you will get better
Bet you're gonna miss tatertot this winter between the occasional rain and cold wind. We'll miss him too 😢
Nice video Eric. Arizona has some of the most beautiful scenery ever! You are so comfortable with yourself and truly at home on the road and it’s not just interesting but it’s relaxing too. Give your ear a few days out of the altitude and it should clear up. Sure hope so for your comfort. Rest well, have a good relaxing time and then onward ho!🤗👍👍🐈⬛🐱🏍️
You need dual alternators.
Love that area. I drive it in my 24' RV. It's a little scarey, but worth it!
💔💔💔. My heart is heavy, I just found out Lola passed away right before her LolaPaloza. RIP 😇. You didn’t make it this year . But it was very nice they did a celebration of life for her❤❤❤
Yeah you we’re definitely fresh with the altitude change. That’s why your ears are the way they are and should be ok within 12 -24 hrs. Thanks for sharing and also the time lapse the other day on the property was great!!!Thanks and be safe!!!
Hope you feel better soon. As always, Thumbs up 👍
Eric I used to take my semi 80,000
Lbs down that road. Piece of cake. Thank God for engine breaks
Hey! A new place to try out nearby. I haven't been that direction in years. Thanks!
