Always better to connect the battery before you connect the collectors, that way there is somewhere for the electricity to go when they start producing.

An easy way to keep an eye on those nuts, to make sure they’re not backing off, is to make them as tight as you want, then use a marker and draw a straight line on the nut and down the bolt. If the line is ever not lined up as you marked it, the nut has moved.

Good morning Eric. Nice install. At van builds, installers installed breakers on the red cables between the solar panel and the charge controller, and, one between the battery and the inverter for safety. Awsom battery.

Looks good, great video! You should consider putting a switch between panels and controller. Pretty sure damage can occur by wiring controller to panels before wiring to battery.

Nice addition to the trailer. Always nice to have extra power available while on the road. I would suggest that you move that fuse block in behind / under the counter top so the positive terminal isnt exposed. It also looks like you had enough room where the battery is to mount it all under there which would provide more protection from any cargo you may be hauling in the trailer.

🟠 Eric, build came out awesome! It hard to see n the vid, but if you didn't apply, that Dicor has to go around the back of the bracket also. Water may very well intrude in from open area behind the bracket. Maybe you can use some sort of flexible tubing to attach to the caulk-tube to get in there. Or get a separate syringe and add some sort of flex tubing to the syringe.

Hey man, pretty nice install... But aside from order of connections... you should have put the dicore UNDER the Z bracket around the bolt and then tightened it up. The inside of the Z bracket under the panel that isn't sealed will leak. The other option would have been a rubber gasket that gets smashed between the bracket and roof.
I say this as i have put on some solar panels. I have had to peel up and reseal the leak.

A good ideal is focus on buying one of other lots on both sides of Taterland. Buying one of the other two lots allows you to develop a center where you and your friends can socialize. Also, the center will allow you to build a chicken coop.

Just about to watch your video, but wanted to speak about yesterday's Xfinity race. I called the champion/winner, Cole Custer. He's been racing so well lately. Team RSS's best chance, K Seig, went out early in this race. Seems to be a recurring theme, & Graf qualified so slow, he stayed 35ish the whole race. I have to say, I really like the Xfinity racing, based on the difficulties they have handling these cars. Not like Cup cars which are so precise. Makes things a little more chaotic.
My champion/winner pick for today's Cup Race: Kyle Larson, though it's hard to ignore Blaney's speedy Ford & I don't like Chevy but do like Stewart Hass. Byron just seems to fall just short lately. Sentimental choice: Harvick for the win!!! Go out in Grand fashion!
    Anyway, enjoy the Race today!!!!!
P.S. - Cowboys have tuff matchup today. Good Sports day for you.
