It's been about 1 and a half years since trench warfare really started in detail. Really only starting after Kherson was recaptured
Because neither side really wants the war to be over. Ukraine is basically devastated, even with hypothetical reparations (which are unlikely as they'd require a convincing Ukrainian victory) it will take many years to crawl from poverty... and while at war people will likely tolerate it, at peace it will likely be rather volatile and unhappy. In Russia war allows to silence any dissent which keeps growing. Of course, both Ukrainian and Russian politics enjoy massive corruption in military of both countries. Realistically they will drag the war as long as it is reasonable, maybe coming to a some kind of status quo agreement in 3 months before elections in both countries, something that would allow both sides to claim "victory".

If they made peace now, they would not be able to claim a victory in any sense.

@@kirikoudiouf4485 Is there corruption? Yes. Are there very bad generals? Yes. There’s also a new style of warfare happening and it’s a special military operation not a full fledged war. All the victories have been tactical not strategical. Strategical would be gaining and losing cities often but here it’s only villages and such until collapses. This is because Russia has limited its capabilities which makes it more difficult and leads to higher casualties not “900 men a day lost in avdiivka” like American articles say. Which is pretty obvious considering they have half our population size got a growing military and military industry as well as economy.

They’re partially restricting the militaries capabilities in order to reduce civilian casualties and force a peace but Ukraine keeps mobilizing which has caused a lot of issues. The videos casualty count is just random numbers. Ukraine needs 500k to make up for losses while Russias army and military industry keeps growing. Though admittedly Russia has suffered large losses, it’s not nearly as high.

I just want to point that it's the most modern war in today's world in terms of technologies. This all reminds me 1st world war, when everything should be mobilized to simply continue the war. The scales are massive you can see it in every aspect. It's an existential threat not only for russia or Ukraine but for all democratic world and authoritarian/totalitarian regimes on the other side.

The animation is quite good, but the number of troops is complete nonsense, recently Putin said that Russia has 600,000 people on the front line, and Zelensky said that the number of the Ukrainian army is 800,000 people (this is the entire army of Ukraine, I think that of these 800,000 front somewhere 500.000-600.000)
lets be real here the real numbers are impossible to know its better to just kinda put numbers on screen and draw the map as accurately as you can
1. both sides are gonna say their numbers are as high as possible, you can't just take the figures from the leaders of the country as fact.
2. this video shows combat soldiers on the front lines, this doesn't include medics, people helping with logistics, etc. a minority of any army is actually on the frontlines as soldiers.
3. theres always gonna be uncertainty and secrecy hiding the real number, this video doesn't claim its 100% accurate, it just finds the best number it can.
4. russia doesn't have 600k on the frontline anyway, 600k involved in the operation sure, but they have a lot of troops setup in defensive positions deeper in occupied ukraine not near the frontlines.

Und jeder Russe der klug ist sollte dafür sorgen dass eure Tyrannen, die euch massenweise in denn tod schicken (200.000 tote Russen aktuell) nur um ihre eigene Macht und ihr eigenes Geld auf den Kadavern eurer Kinder, Väter und Brüder zu vermehren, endlich wegkommen und Russland dem russischen Volk übergeben wird. По официальным данным с октября месяца набор в ВСУ ниже потерь, а тут показывают, что численность на фронте растёт, вопрос как? Либо тут данные не точные, либо они сильно оголяют фронты приграничные регионы и стягивают резервы...

Цифры действительно рандом. Автор, как и многие другие, заграничные, освоил футаж и развлекается такими вот роликами. Видимо, подсмотрел отчасти у других. Обсуждать смысла нет.
Из объективной инфы по началу: мы заходили на Украину 3 группами в течении месяца - около 160к (вместе с войсками ЛДНР 20к) можно сказать 180к. Украина держала на фронте порядка 120к, аккурат перед нашим заходом нарастила порядка 200к и ещё потом 40-50к в течении месяца (в старте актуальные цифры). не считая теробороны.
В середине 2023 (перед контрнаступом) Зеленский сказал, что ВСУ насчитывает порядка 500к и если надо, нарастят до 1 млн. Сколько у нас было на тот момент - не известно. В январе Путин сказал, что официально в зоне СВО порядка 600к военнослужащих. Это единственные, официальные цифры.
Смысла сраться в комментариях нет (да и не в окопе мы), как и всерьёз обсуждать такие ролики иностранцев.
Честно говоря я свалил из украины в польшу за 2 месяца до войны потому что дед сказал мне с мамой уехать в польшу изза обострения и не зря

Its my 17th birthday, its only year and Im in the Finnish Armed Forces.
But you can study hard for last few months of school and go to university instead of serving in army, like I did in 2022 to not serve in Russian army during the war time. This war and fear really gave me morivation to study, and at now I am participating in Russo-Chinese student exchange programm, 1.5 years of living and studying in Shanghai. But because of this exchange program I lost the possibility to skip army after university, so I would serve in the Russian army in 2027, but I think war would end to this moment and everything will be fine

@@user-qx3wd3lf9s я думаю что никаких переговоров не будет, и произойдёт заморозка конфликта по текущей линии соприкосновения где то в первой половине 2025 года, как это уже было в первой половине 2017 года, когда произошла окончательная заморозка войны на Донбассе. Просто все устали вести бессмысленную войну, где линия фронта никуда не двигается месяцами и годами, и со временем всё само прекратилось.
По сути мы имеем ситуацию, когда Запад обманул Украину с поставками вооружений. В самом начале войны, в марте 2022 года Россия и Украина вели переговоры в Стамбуле, собственно российская армия на самом деле наступала на Киев не ради захвата Киева, а скорее ради того чтобы склонить Украину к переговорам силовым путём. По словам Арахамии, главы украинской переговорной делегации, Россия и Украина в конце марта 2022 года даже смогли достичь соглашения о мире, которое правда не было подписано Украиной - так называемые Стамбульские соглашения. И эти условия были очень выгодны для Украины - Россия просто хотела нейтрального статуса Украины и Россия была готова отвести войска на линию 23 февраля 2022 года. Абсолютно то же самое произошло в Грузии в августе 2008 года, когда между Россией и Грузией была пятидневная война, по итогу которой просто состоялись мирные переговоры, Россия попросила Грузию не вступать в НАТО, а российские войска после этих переговоров просто покинули все захваченные территории и вернулись в Россию. Путин хотел кратковременную войну ради переговоров, он ожидал что за неделю удастся склонить Украину к переговорам и заключить мир на российских условиях. Но вышло иначе - российская армия не смогла добиться серьезных успехов под Киевом, а в конце марта 2022 года Западные политики пообещали Украине поставки оружия и скорую победу с освобождением Крыма и выходом на границы 1991 года. Украина попросила Россию дать сигнал о том, что Россия готова выполнять условия Стамбульских соглашений, и Россия вывела свои войска из под Киева и с севера Украины, а Украина кинула Россию, свернув переговоры и надеясь на поставки оружия и финансовую помощь с Запада. Однако быстрая победа Украины не выгодна Западу, Запад хочет длительное время истощать Россию, и поэтому военная помощь со стороны Запада была дозированной, медленной, танки поставили только спустя год, самолёты не поставили до сих пор. Победа Украины не входит в планы Запада, Украину обманули. Украина могла ещё в марте 2022 просто подписать уже готовые Стамбульские соглашения, российская армия оставила бы все территории, как это было с Грузией в августе 2008 года. А по итогу получилось что в Украине уже было фиг пойми сколько волн мобилизации, и в Украине уже мобилизуют женщин и инвалидов. Ну понятное дело что если дошло до мобилизаци женщин и инвалидов, эта война просто не может продолжаться, все уже устали, как в Украине так и в России, будет снижение интенсивности боевых действий и заморозка конфликта ближе к 2025 году.

Their intelligence services did a terrible job at assessment. They thought the AFU will not respond on time, the population will support and help Russia and after Kiev's fall the military organization of Ukraine will crumble and moral will be diminished for the paramilitary formations.
They planned to take Histomel airport to achieve 2 objectives at once - cripple evacuation of ukrainian officials and bring reinforcements, starting with special police, riot control and internal troops. Then landing regular army for Western Ukraine operations to complete their control over the entire country and connect with RU forces in Moldova.
Needles to say, all if that failed extremely.

All the people who claim: wow Russia is losing badly...
1) Russia has a much higher population that it could use for the conflict and is deliberately choosing not to.
2) Russia is fighting alongside, not against the people in the regions they are occupying.
3) Russia is fighting against the Military Industrial Complex of the United States and is still somehow winning against the newest American technology (there are examples of it being shown in Moscow that I have seen for any skeptics).
4) Russia is fighting an offensive operation - usually an offensive war takes way more troops than the defending side (2 to 3 times as much). The fact that Ukraine is losing territory with a near equal fighting force proves Ukraine is doing very poorly in their fight.
5) Russian casualties by the combined West are false, and Ukrainian casualties are intentionally being silenced in the West.
6) Ukraine's military conscription age is increasing at a very rapid rate as a counterbalance to their rapidly dying young population. This is not happening to the same level in Russia.
7) The Russian economy has actually grown after their operation despite American led sanctions and is on a positive trajectory.
Overall: The West is lying about everything that is happening. I'm an American and I have done a thorough investigation into the Russian side of this conflict, looking at Russian primary sources. Russia will prevail in this conflict and shed light on the lies brought on by the connections between the Biden family, the neoliberal American agenda, and the facist regime that currently controls Ukraine.

2. this is about the DPR and the LPR to nations that were astroturfed into existence with the majority of these nations' leaders coming from members of Putin's government and got most of their troops through forced conscription this also ignores the millions of Ukrainians who fled the region at the start of the conflict while it is true that there are Ukrainians that support Russia these are a small portion of the original population many that had to be forcibly conscripted to fight alongside them
3. much of the aid arrived in Ukraine after the Russians were pushed back from Kyiv and even so it is a small fraction of the actual military-industrial complex only about 3 percent of the US defense budget with a little under 4 percent for the EU's and this has the potential of being much lower as of the spending is from the old war stockpile not modern weaponry with the value being measured at the time it was built not its current value so it is most likely an overvaluing of equipment also winning is incorrect both sides have been in a stalemate for about a year
4. both sides have engaged in offensive and defensive operations often with Ukraine engaging in offensive actions in the spring and summer and Russia attacking in the fall and winter since Ukraine failed to offensive last summer Russia has also failed to gain a large amount of territory with the gains with the highest estimate being that Russia has only gained 20 square kilometers since the counter-offensive
5. casualties measure anything that takes a soldier out of combat for this both sides have been lying to the public but we did get the official ratio in the leaked documents by that one Air Force kid on that discord server we know that before the Ukrainian offensive, the casualty ratio was roughly 1 to 2.5 in Ukrainians favor but since then that number has most likely even itself out since the Ukrainian offensive
6. the average age of a Ukrainian soldier is 40 for Russia it is 43 this is not because of the high casualties of young people but simply because both nations have an aging population with the Ukrainian congress even debating to lower the mobilization age
7. the Russian economy has suffered due to the sanctions and the quality of life has been lowered since the war but the Russian economy has indeed been relatively resilient to Western sanctions this is due in part to its shift in trade to nations like China and Iran
I can see how you have come to these conclusions since you admit to exclusively using Russian sources in your research yes the West is lying about some aspects of this conflict but not anything Hunter Biden scamming a Ukrainian company has nothing to do with this conflict but Neo-Liberalism does deserve blame for its part in the crippling of Russia's economy after the USSR collapse and the creation of the oligarch system and no Ukraine is not a fascist state
