Heyup Pat good to see you back out wildcamping old lad..looked a good night & a great morning & that chilly looked very nice.your'e right with that btw,if you eat a spicy meal before bed your'e digestive system keeps working generating inner warmth & in return keeping you warm.I was out monday night the 18'th up at higher shelf stones near the B29 bomber site,that's a great spot up there by the trig if you've not been up there yet.the cold nights are here now it was -2 up there & i woke to a good frost & an amazing sunrise just the ones i love.See you got you're self a drone too,good stuff,i always say they bring a different dimension to vids with the aerial shots.here's hoping for some snow soon Pat & a great winter.tfs..Andy.
Hi Andy yes know the spot very well, went up to Higher Shelf Stones last year from Glossop, hoping to get views of Manchester and the B29 Over Exposed but as usual could,nt see further than a few feet, still a good camp. It's on my list for Spring on a clear night, you picked similar time to me couple of days of clear and cold weather and luckly no rain, I, am sure the snow will e along soon, all the best Pat

Coincidentally I Just made chilli for tea tonight. Also From scratch. Cumin. Coriander seeds. Toasted then ground up. Bit chilli powder. Oregano 🌿 and the stuff you added. Topped with a dollop of natural yoghurt. Lovely. Looked cosy in the tent there. Nice photos and the bacon 🥓 topped it. Good to see you out in the old sooloo again. Hope you’re well. Hi Andy, you can, t beat a chilli, we have it home quite a lot, I put some cayenne pepper in but then get complaints from my two sons, they any take it. Great to be" back out " in the Soulo, luckily I could pick a good bit of weather, we had so much rain, Sheffield only gets on the news when we get flooded. Hi Eli it's above our tree line, not really high but about 350 m, a lo of the area lower down would of been cleared around 1700 and 1800 for agriculture and grazing. Higher up there are very few trees, thanks Pat

Not the first time sheffield has been described as looking like the aftermath of a nuclear attack , remember threads on telly , great photo's
Perfectly safe as it's a nuclear free zone. Another great video, had to pause and grab a bite to eat .

Hi Andy, you can, t beat a chilli, we have it home quite a lot, I put some cayenne pepper in but then get complaints from my two sons, they any take it.
Great to be" back out " in the Soulo, luckily I could pick a good bit of weather, we had so much rain, Sheffield only gets on the news when we get flooded.

It's shock me to see wide areas like this without even one tree.
Hi Eli it's above our tree line, not really high but about 350 m, a lo of the area lower down would of been cleared around 1700 and 1800 for agriculture and grazing. Higher up there are very few trees, thanks Pat
