When I was filming last week I actually had the police called on me 😂 All is ok, I’m not in Jail haha but I will explain (and show the footage) in next Tuesdays episode. Meanwhile, here is a compilation of some of my favourite trips recently. Whilst I edit the police video. See you all next Tuesday 5pm!!
Hello Mike! What is the brand of rain jacket you are wearing at the beginning of this video? I’ve seen you wearing it before and I like that it’s a 3/4 zip over the head model. Thanks!!
The little dog brought back so many memories. I used to have a Labradoodle and maybe once or twice a year we would go camping for a few days in the mountains in Colorado. Pancho (my dog) would always wear his gear and would carry up his entire dog food supply plus bones for the whole trip. He truly was one of the best, well behaved, and nicest dog's I have ever known. A true gentleman. He passed away a few years ago from lymes disease. Loved the video!
I've just watched this whilst hunkered down under my tarp in a hailstorm. I have no stove or fire, and only cold rations. The temperature is dropping towards 0°C tonight. It's going to be a wet, chilly, character-building night, but I'm being serenaded by a couple of tawny owls right now, so life is good.
@@SSYX336 oh man, there's these neat little inventions out now, I think they're calling them smartphones? They transmit and receive packets of information, including videos like this, from towers! Can you believe that?! He's probably using one of those.
This is a great video. Building up the space/complexity (and cost?) of these tents and heating. J Dog back on YT having the time of his life as a pack hound. Excellent
I watch some RUclips channels from UK farmers and boy, you have really had some crazy rain these last few months. My heart breaks seeing so many fields under water, and I'm sure it puts a real strain on anyone who has to work outside or enjoys outdoor recreation.
Yes it was a weird winter AND Spring with almost endless rain. Not very nice. Farmers planted barley in Autumn in the field next to my house,, During winter tons of earth washed off the field and into the stream blocking it up
Yeah, Jaxx, teach that log a lesson! Hahaha. God, how I love watching Mike and Jaxx in their camping adventures! Just bought my first hot tent and wood stove and I’m so looking forward to this year’s camping season. An amazing opportunity to get out there and start practicing/honing the skills I’ve been learning from this young man.
This video reminds me of the time, when in 5th grade, we were on a school vacation in a forest camp. One day we were going around the forest in a group, and we stopped to rest for 30 minutes and i split from the group and walked around the forest for like 2 or 3 hours just exploring. When i got back in the camp, they were all worried and thought about calling my parents to report that i'm missing. What they didn't know is that i spent my entire childhood with my grandma outdoors, piking mushrooms and herbs, so i had no problem finding my way, because there was a river that led directly to the camp, so i just followed the river. I was very exited to just go on my way and explore peacefully, i even saw some wild life. Now as an adult i use any chance i get to be in nature peacefully staying alone away from noise and people, figuring my life.
imo Your dog is the best accessory you had on that stay. I miss mine and I wish that I had her while I was still young enough to handle camping "alone".
Az önce işten eve geldim ve bugün çok yorulmuşdum.Yemek yemek için bile koltukdan kalkamadım.RUclips vakit geçirirken bu video karşıma çıktı günün yorgunluğunu benden aldı.Teşekkür ederim.
It is good to see Jax again! Your camp setups during this video get more and more spacious and comfortable. For me...I would always stay in your Pallet Wood Palace...or the like of it on just a bit larger scale. Best regards!
Hi, really enjoy the channel! First time idea/suggestion; cook sausages at home. They'll keep well & you can simply butterfly and quickly fry them. Just an idea!
I have been watching some millionaire type glamping videos lately - the kind of tents that are inflated and have carpets and so much equipment it is more comfortable than a hotel. Much prefer this. Real camping.
Agree. There is a Turkish couple who have millions of subscribers. They always 'camp' in ridiculously sized inflatable tents with their car parked right next to the tent. And sometimes bring a full size TV with them.
So far so good, stopped in the beginning to shoot you a tip that may help, just noticed it. Get a strip of Velcro and put the flap for the stove jack above the opening to cut down on the amount of water running off of the tent. Love the setup and all of you vids, thanks as always!
I don't know what it is but I absolutely LOVE watching Mike make camp fires.... He just does it so effortlessly and many times in extreme situations....
Hey Mike, thanks for putting in the work for the 😊video. I do like when you bring Jaks along. Sorry if I butchered his name. That little vest he wears is awesome. Thanks again.
Very relaxing and great video as always. We will not fault you for carrying a professionally-made wooden spoon you can both stir with and eat without the risk of getting a splinter! You should get one for yourself.
actually, I'm from Poland, but I'll give you the golden recipe for Hungarian scrambled eggs because I can't look at these dry eggs 😅. the magic is not to mix egg yolks and egg whites! add the eggs and do not touch the yolks until the egg white is set. When the egg whites are ready, remove the pan from the heat and, holding it high above it, mix all the yolks with the egg whites. I guarantee that nothing will burn and the scrambled eggs will be delicious and moist.
yeah and it would be so easy to pack in a proper vessel to drink from! Glass isn't going to happen when packing gear into the woods, too heavy and too fragile. Would you rather he poured it into his tin coffee cup???
Hi Mike great vlog yet again i think you must be one of a few people on here that can do vlogs without dialogue and still keep viewers watching and thats a skill in its self and personally I think that's down to good interesting content. Right? That tent must have been $800 and that little stove probably $400. Plus the cameras. Man..

Camping videos where people don't talk are the best.
Especially if it's raining
Perfect for a good sleep
It's nice to have friends in the forest with dogs, it's not lonely either
Jax’s heck with it I’m not coming back out in that rain😂❤

It was nice to see all those different tents. All were good in their own way but I liked the white one best, Good to see Jaxx having a great time too.
More trips with Jaxx please! It’s such a great duo with you both together chilling out
Got a Belgium shepherd now, but this reminded me of my JR. Miss her even after 15yrs.
