We really enjoyed your camp in the garden. Stew and dumplings looked great and every gent needs a little rest before his pudding. The rain on the tent set it all off very nicely. Thanks for sharing 👍
What I like about your videos Pat is that they are both entertaining and down to earth. No big fanfare of over produced banners, thumbnails and merchandising guff. Just someone who is genuinely interested in the outdoors/exploring (not to forget having the odd drink) for its own sake and connects well with his subscribers and long may it continue 👍
Thanks Sarah, although it was only the garden, it felt like the top of Kinder Scout with all that rain. Unusual times, yes just got to carry on best we can, thanks Pat

Another Cracking video Patrick !!!! You certainly lift our mood , great mate !!! The Food was awesome 😊,and the Glenfiddich with Triangular bottle 😃😃😃😃... Keep em coming , stay safe champ.......🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍺
Carlos said it perfectly 👍🏻. Always great to see a notification of one of your videos. I tend to watch them around this time at night when the Mrs has nodded off, I can lay down and "try to" relax. The rain on the tent, was a great sound through the earphones. Honestly I could watch you talk about blooming anything 🤣🤣🤣. Fabulous, I shall very much look forward to your next video. You can’t get better than stew and dumplings especially home made stew awesome food and a classic tent well done my Sheffield friend John from Sheffield in England Great Britain
Hi Pat I absolutely love your videos. After years of hotel room holidays I camped in Wales in August in that humid stormy weather. We were on a campsite and the hail stones were as big as golf balls. My car has hundreds of dents in it! I have arthritis so can't do a lot but I'm so looking forward to getting out there again when we can. Listening to your calm, gentle Northern voice is the best. The video where you packed your glasses in your tent made me smile. Such honesty. I've watched all your videos and love the cookery that goes on. And the garden camp was brilliant I even went out and bought those beers! Fantastic Pat looking forward to the next instalment. Kay
Hi Kay, yes every camp is a little adventure as you well know, even camping in the garden can be adventure and exciting, the whisky did help, luckly no problems with my glasses this time, thanks Pat
Quality made in Sheffield ! I reckon if I had eaten all that I wouldn't of had room for even the smallest dram of single malt but good grief it looked good ! Nearly 66 and still rockin it so that diet must be a good one ! Wild camping, beer, whiskey, carbs and attitude. Love it Pat.
I wish my wife would be as understanding as yours must be about solo camping , piece, solitude, fresh air, great food and beer, what more could a man want(well almost everything 😁) god bless keep the videos coming mate 👍
You just make me smile all the way through the video. Went past millhouses park just before lockdown coming home from blue John. Brought back memories of a young skateboarder, it was my favourite place to go in the summer. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
@@patrickdickinson6492 it’s a great place.have you ever walked the wharnecliffe craggs? Thats my favourite place to go. Walking and wild camping, went the other day when it snowed, absolutely beautiful! 👍🏻
Thanks Julie, the whisky and camping certainly go together well, I still have bad experience's with beer and whisky, you would of thought I would of learnt by now, all the best Pat
Yes, the 12 yr Glenfiddich is one of the most consistent whiskeys there is. William Grant do a great job with it. If I remember rightly, the shape and size of their stills used for the 12 year old hasn't changed since 1886! Personally, I love the 15 year old - even more than either the 18 and 21 year olds. It has a warmth to it that is lost with the extra refinement seen in the more aged whiskeys. Great video - I think my neighbours would think I'm crazy camping out like you did. I know my wife think I am haha!
Patrick, you work wonders for my mental health and chronic homesickness (living in fun-free Darmstadt, Germany). I am currently on a 5-day wild camp in my garden.
Hi Christopher, sorry about your predicament, sounds a bit like when we were on lockdown.... enjoy your camp as well as you can, can only get better...... thanks Pat 😊
That was a nice flat pitch you found- I hope you left it in a good state. Great to see the F&T tent out again- I remember you using it on a 70's thrown back video a year or so ago. I'm sure that video has lifted everyone's spirit a bit. Cheers Patrick.
Nice surprise to see you out again, even if it is in the garden, keeping us all going through covid, thank you. Can’t beat proper dumplings. Breakfast looked great. Stay safe. Looking forward to the pub
Nice to watch your calming video Pat. Your supper reminded me of dinner at my Grandma's as a kid back in the seventies. Beef suet in gravy, stew and dumplings followed by home made rice pudding. No need to think about eating for a couple of days after that lot!
Great gardan camp pat can you crack some more off we a few beers thrown in mate miss seeing latest vids you give us all a lift in difficult times. Keep up the good work mate our about a gardan camp and a trip to your pub and then a good slap up meal before going to sleep.SOUNDS GREAT FOR A NEW VID.
I was only saying to the running group yesterday it’s about time Pat brought out another video and low and behold less than 24hrs later here it is, great vid as ever Pat,the fell devils love ya......bewdiful
Enjoyable, as ever , mate ! 'Does it get any better than this?' you asked.........Yes ! if you'd got another beer instead of whisky , that'd do it , although I'll concede and allow the 12 y.o. Glenfiddich in this case ! All that was missing, was the wonderful Peak scenery , but it was nice to get a sneak peek at your large garden , of which The Lady Helen and I are most envious of. Wish we had all that space...........Nice to see you still have all the enthusiasm for camping, in the wild or not , you go to it with the zeal of a 10 year old having a big adventure in the back garden under canvas foir the first time. Super . Enjoyed the grub, too , and what a super brekkie , no punches pulled there, so full marks, Sir ! Hope this year comes good for you and yours , it's good to see someone with a good attitude to the current restrictions, and I know full well you're the sort of chap who will always do the right thing. Better times ahead ? Hope so , might involve beer , though! Stay safe , mate.
Hi Nigel and hope you and Helen are both as well as could be expected in these unusual times, I know you will be shielding and that must be hard, a couple of days in and I,am climbing the walls . With the garden and pub I,am surviving lockdown, once in the pub I,am back to the 1970,s, in another world, trouble is it's difficult to return to present day, anyway off to the pub in a bit so my wife can thrash me at cards, see you both in the pub soon, all the best Pat
Absolutely brilliant, just what's needed in lockdown. Used to camp in the back garden as a kid. Got to have stew and dumplings this weekend!! Keep them coming pat😀👍🍻atb.
Another great camping vid Patrick . for your next wild camp perhaps you could try climbing to the top of the stairs and pitching tarp over the banister , my Mrs would go off like a grenade , propper wild . 👍👍😁👌
Priceless...a gem of a video. The sound of heavy rain against the tent, the sight of you tucking into a steaming hot plate of stew, it's what it's all about. Thanks Pat, you're a star.
You obviously didn't make this video yesterday because there is heavy snow just up the road in Barnsley! Look forward to seeing outdoor videos outside your city at the end of the lockdown. I can almost imagine the savoury aroma of your stew and dumplings. Sheffield is a much greener city than the bits I have been through. I am reliving my memories of better times by doing drawings of all the upland and mountain areas I have been to!
Thanks again Pat, Interesting video as you say you could be anywhere, good example of what you can do even with all these limitations. Cracking video Pat. Thanks, David.
Glenfiddich is a lovely whiskey Pat, one that I am partial too in small amounts only of course:) I might try a garden camp myself soon. Happy birthday for May. I shall be 59 his year so still some way to go:) In May I shall ride up to Sheffield on my Royal Enfield Himalayan and have a few pints with you at your expense in your pub. Ah that would be good. Just make sure you have a good beer on:)) See you then:) Sandy
Hi Sandy, it feels like I was 59 only yesterday, time has just flown by. If garden camping is all we can do then so be it, it's still time in a tent and all the fun that goes with it, let's hope things improve for May, all the best Pat
That's what I like to see, Pat. A substantial measure of whiskey. So it doesn't evaporate before it reaches your lips. I never saw the attraction in single malts myself. Untile I organised a bring a bottle of whiskey tasting at a camping meet a few years ago. I can't get enough of the stuff now. Great video, yet again!
This is the best tonic for anyone suffering with the covid blues... Always makes my day when you put out a new vlog patrick... Keep em coming but be safe.. 😎👌

I have that tent! Still going strong. Bought it waaaaaay back in the 80s. Used it on a cycling tour in France a couple of years ago. Not exactly 'cutting edge' but keeps the weather out still!
I had long COVID in February the 17th 2021 on my birthday what a birthday present . I was in the Hallamshire hospital for 31 days and then I went back home with a respirator 24 hours a day 7 days a week for 6 months it affected me badly, but I’m back with avengence and I would love to do a wild camp with you my friend,I’ve had my jabs and it would be a dream come true. Keep up the great content and your infectious persona and great food all the best mate john another Sheffield guy

Excellent filming & narration .
Well done patrick
( from portsmouth )
Thanks, love making them, thanks Pat
I love the sound of rain on a tent.
Yes very nice, when you know you are all safe and secure inside, thanks Pat
Yes, the 12 yr Glenfiddich is one of the most consistent whiskeys there is. William Grant do a great job with it. If I remember rightly, the shape and size of their stills used for the 12 year old hasn't changed since 1886! Personally, I love the 15 year old - even more than either the 18 and 21 year olds. It has a warmth to it that is lost with the extra refinement seen in the more aged whiskeys. Great video - I think my neighbours would think I'm crazy camping out like you did. I know my wife think I am haha!
Interesting history there,I still have to try the 15 year old, thanks Pat
I always look forward to viewing your videos Pat. Greetings from New Zealand.
Patrick, you are a true delight! I love watching your videos. So entertaining and uplifting. Here’s to a much better 2021!
Thanks Lance, I think we all have to look forward to better times later in the year, just need a positive attitude, thanks for the kind words,....Pat
You should have your own tv series Pat, your more entertaining that anything that's on the box
Nice of you to say Paul
nice one pat you are just what the doctor ordered keep them coming cheers
Patrick, you work wonders for my mental health and chronic homesickness (living in fun-free Darmstadt, Germany). I am currently on a 5-day wild camp in my garden.
Hi Christopher, sorry about your predicament, sounds a bit like when we were on lockdown.... enjoy your camp as well as you can, can only get better...... thanks Pat 😊
Thanks Pat, long awaited and as enjoyable as ever. Nice to have your company again, cheers mate!
That was a nice flat pitch you found- I hope you left it in a good state. Great to see the F&T tent out again- I remember you using it on a 70's thrown back video a year or so ago. I'm sure that video has lifted everyone's spirit a bit. Cheers Patrick.
Thanks Derek, no trace left at all, thanks Pat
Nice surprise to see you out again, even if it is in the garden, keeping us all going through covid, thank you. Can’t beat proper dumplings. Breakfast looked great. Stay safe. Looking forward to the pub
Thanks Julie, could of been anywhere in that tent at night, anywhere your imagination can take you, see you in the pub soon, thanks Pat
Nice camp, I agree, it doesn’t get much better than that. Beaudiful ! See you next time, all the best.
Nice to watch your calming video Pat.
Your supper reminded me of dinner at my Grandma's as a kid back in the seventies.
Beef suet in gravy, stew and dumplings followed by home made rice pudding.
No need to think about eating for a couple of days after that lot!
Yes great meals from the past, thanks Pat
Great gardan camp pat can you crack some more off we a few beers thrown in mate miss seeing latest vids you give us all a lift in difficult times. Keep up the good work mate our about a gardan camp and a trip to your pub and then a good slap up meal before going to sleep.SOUNDS GREAT FOR A NEW VID.
Hi and thanks for that, really enjoyed the camp, and the whisky, hopefully back in the pub next week, thanks Pat
Brilliant Pat as always simply video of a guy doing what he loves well done mate

Your very welcome Jimmy, plot of snow today, thanks Pat
I was only saying to the running group yesterday it’s about time Pat brought out another video and low and behold less than 24hrs later here it is, great vid as ever Pat,the fell devils love ya......bewdiful
Good to hear, thanks Pat
Sounds great!...you can,t beat stew and dumpings on a wintery day like today, all the best Pat
Another great camping vid Patrick . for your next wild camp perhaps you could try climbing to the top of the stairs and pitching tarp over the banister , my Mrs would go off like a grenade , propper wild . 👍👍😁👌
That's not a bad idea that Grant, haha, all the best Pat
Priceless...a gem of a video. The sound of heavy rain against the tent, the sight of you tucking into a steaming hot plate of stew, it's what it's all about. Thanks Pat, you're a star.
Thanks Really enjoyed. Your a real 🌟 Take good care Pat
Yes Tony, some nice parks in Sheffield, great places to take your daily excersize, looking forward to getting back to normal soon, all the best Pat
Thanks again Pat,
Interesting video as you say you could be anywhere, good example of what you can do even with all these limitations.
Cracking video Pat.
Thanks, David.
Thanks David, got to make the most of what we have, thanks Pat
Glenfiddich is a lovely whiskey Pat, one that I am partial too in small amounts only of course:) I might try a garden camp myself soon. Happy birthday for May. I shall be 59 his year so still some way to go:)
In May I shall ride up to Sheffield on my Royal Enfield Himalayan and have a few pints with you at your expense in your pub. Ah that would be good. Just make sure you have a good beer on:))
See you then:)
Sandy
Hi Sandy, it feels like I was 59 only yesterday, time has just flown by. If garden camping is all we can do then so be it, it's still time in a tent and all the fun that goes with it, let's hope things improve for May, all the best Pat
That's what I like to see, Pat. A substantial measure of whiskey. So it doesn't evaporate before it reaches your lips. I never saw the attraction in single malts myself. Untile I organised a bring a bottle of whiskey tasting at a camping meet a few years ago. I can't get enough of the stuff now.
Great video, yet again!
Yes Garth a very pleasant way to spend a night in the garden, cheers Pat
I love the way you say 'dumpling' and 'puddings' and I'm from up North also!
Haha, thanks Anna
Great camp Patrick! Perfect UK camping weather!
Thanks yes definitely UK camping weather, thanks Pat
Ten minutes in and not a pint in sight 😄😄😄 love your videos😄
This is the best tonic for anyone suffering with the covid blues... Always makes my day when you put out a new vlog patrick... Keep em coming but be safe.. 😎👌
Master craftsman of camping 👍
Nice of you to say, thanks Pat

Glad to see you again Patrick. Been looking forward to our chats. Hope you and the family have a great 2021. God Bless see you soon. Your videos give us a lift during these dark times.
That's good that David, all the best Pat
Always good to watch Pat ..
I have that tent! Still going strong. Bought it waaaaaay back in the 80s. Used it on a cycling tour in France a couple of years ago. Not exactly 'cutting edge' but keeps the weather out still!
I love the design of the tent especially the porch for cooking in, hopefully a few years left in mine, thanks Pat
Hi John, sounds like you had it really bad, you sound like you were lucky to survive, being on a respiratory for so long.
Will certainly make you appreciate the simple things in life like a basic wild camp , may bump into you in the hills one day..... thanks Pat
