    In college my man Walt used to say, "my cousin Diamond D is going to come down here for a show, I'll introduce you to him." I'm like, "yea right and I'm the Easter Bunny." A few weeks later a Range Rover pulls up and the passenger side door opens up and sitting there is Diamond D! I was buggin, D was mad cool, he had a huge smile on his face and he gave me a pound before they took off. I must have stood there for a few minutes thinking, "did that just happen?"

      +Various Topics that's a cool story, man...I loved this dude's album when it came out "Stunts, Blunts, and Hip Hop"...I listened to that tape every day for months, man...that video he did with Anthony Mason was dope "Best Kept Secret"...loved that beat

    this is the guy( him , dj quik & large pro) that got me into making beats back in my teen years..young producers dont know how good they have it..i used to make loop tapes on double deck tape decks..take one hr of recording a loop over & over to get a 5 min insturmental

    Diamond is definitely one of my influences. The "Stunts" album changed the way I made beats in my head back then. Way before I had equipment. True Pioneer. Keep em coming. Peace...Netm8kr

    That SESAME STREET DISCO break was a surprise milestone.What's even more amazing was when I heard PINKY RING by WU TANG,that sample was from SESAME STREET as well from channel 13 from back in the day.

    I used to trek to the Wiz and Crazy Eddie record stores on 3rd Avenue when I was a little dude as well. I was comin' from Harlem, over the 145th Street Bridge. At that point though, I was coppin' early Funky 4 Plus One More, Treacherous 3, Spoonie G and Grandmaster Flash and the furious 5 twelve inches. It's possible I may have ran into dude back then.

    I remember him playing in the bohannon club Berlin. He was banging the 45's! and the crowd standing around like "who the fuck ist this?". I was 17 and now 5 years later i finally get the chance to have a taste of his collection.

    When I 1st heard "sally got a 1 track mind" I RUSHED to the store and copped 2 MAXISINGLES of them joints ASAP yo! but when I heard "yo thats that.." on the B side? ahhhhhhhhhhhh man! I remember saving up all my bread to cop stunts blunts and hip hop...changed my life...
