There is some question when it comes to a prince or king-consort. Like how Prince Phillip(Matt Smith strikes again!) was only a prince and not a king, even though he was married to the queen. I think it's because a king is always more powerful than a queen so there can't be a true king if you have a queen regnant. I don't know how Rhaenyra would feel about Daemon being referred to as "your grace", it's a power move on his part.
I don’t think Rhaenyra is callous to Rheyna. She entrusted her with the future of the house, that is a big deal. With Baela, Rhaenyra did ask her to stay far, I think Rhaenyra just thinks Baela might comply more than her son
The nine pointed star is actually a symbol of the Gods, and if you remember from last episode, Aemond holds it up in front of his one remaining eye. I think it’s a neat little nod to the second battle of the Gods Eye.
I think the Aemond nudity scene is to show the complete humiliation and vulnerability of the character, at the expense of his brother and we may see a consequence of those actions by Aegon
Thank you for your content! I personally felt like Alyce Rivers was causing the dream for Damon. I don't believe that Damon has any regrets or remorse so I think that the scene with young Rehenra was not from his own guilt, but rather Alyce trying to get him to man up to his mistakes. You can see on Damon's face when he wakes, he's not truly feeling guilt.
I think she's causing it, but it's still being shaped by Daemon's psyche. I think he does feel remorse somewhere deep down, if you look at his face when he sees young Rhaenyra and Jaehaerys in the dream, he looks haunted and tears up. I think he was just surprised when he woke up.
Aemond has been wanting that throne since Aegon was crowned, and Aegon humiliating him at the brothel, his strained relationship with his mother, and some other things has I think tipped him over the edge of actually usurping Aegon.
@@TheDream6842 I really don't like what they've done with Alicent. Season 1 Alicent loves her kids, but season 2 I'm not so sure. I really didn't like her pretty much calling Aemond a monster to Rhaenyra who for all she knows, is responsible for her grandsons death.
Alicent does love her kids and it shows in this season, for example it’s clear she wants to comfort Heleana and Aegon but she doesn’t know. Otto also on some cared about Alicent but abused her by neglecting to give her the emotional support that she needed and forcing her to be a child bride. And of course she never wanted to be with Viserys and is clearly dissociating when they were in bed together, implying all her children are a product of marital grape. So Alicent as a mother despite loving her children and fearing for the lives abuses them in much the same way, putting a lot of pressure on Aegon to be the perfect Prince, forcing Aegon and Heleana to marry and have children even though they don’t want to marry each other just like she was, and I think Aemond was her golden child until he killed Luke.
@@morgothsshadowIf you don't like show Alicent, don't read Fire and Blood. She has been far improved. In the source material she is an older woman who very much purposely puts Aegon on the throne to grasp at power and has always hated her step daughter Rhaenyra. Be happy you didn't get Cersei in green, although that's the version I wanted.
Aemond was a fool. Rhaenys Targaryen was a fool. Aegon was fool. Cole was a fool. Alicent turned into Cersie for 3 seconds. And the biggest fool. Rhaenyra. Oh and Daemon was a fool. So yeah i prefered last weeks episode.
I disgraee with statement Rhaneyra shoudl be more compassionate towards - she was compassionate enough. She expressed to her stepdaughter she does sent her reluctantly and that she understands Rhaena's feelinng, but it's hard time to them all and all have to do sacrificies. Rhaenyra was calim and honest - there isn't really much she could do. Rhaena would be in bad mood about leaving Dragonstone whatever her stephmother said.
I really love Helaena and Rhaena as characters so that's part of it, and I like the older dragons who have multiple riders and a bunch of history behind them. And her moment of bringing down the dragonpit at the end is so powerful, especially because it comes on the heels of Helaena's death.
@@Infernal460 No one would laugh at a king the way Lord Broome laughs at Rhaenyra. Aegon's advisors maybe think he's an idiot, but they aren't openly mocking him or suggesting he hide away while they conduct the war in his absence. Rhaenyra isn't a great leader so far, but sexism is still a factor in the way she's being treated.
@@QuinnFirstOfHerName Rhaenyra reinforces sexist the stereotype. The only monarch worth following in this era was Gaemon Palehair, and who knows if his policies would be any good if not formulated by his mother's Dornish girlfriend.
Well, Daemon’s new title is your Grace and it matters because it means Rhaenyra is taken seriously as Queen.

I love your videos, they always make me chuckle! I am eager to see the rest of your reviews!!
The Brackens and Blackwoods have been feuding for Millennia.
The shot of Aemond and Sylvie where he's naked and curled up to her reminded me of the iconic Rolling Stone cover with John Lennon and Yoko 🤔
They totally misunderstood what you meant about wanting to see more aemond haha

I think it's both, he's taking the humiliation and turning it into a show of strength and defiance.

You make really good videos and I respect your opinions a lot!
I cheerfully look forward to every video you do about this show. Thanks for agreeing with everything I thought already. 😂 #teamdragons #teamrhaenyra

The Witch Queen
5:43 Ageon is not the smartest, but he is not "dumb". Inaction on team greens part, could prove fatal.
why's Dreamfyre such a favorite apart from the end?
Dreamfyre is pretty syrax is piss colored, plus she had like 30 million eggs and many dragons come from her linage
