About to buy this for my M&P Compact. FYI by pressing both buttons at once, you can change the operating setting between light only, laser only, or light/laser combo (factory default setting). He doesn’t mention this handy option. Useful especially if you want to practice with only the laser, which uses almost no power. The battery life with the combo vs light only is identical, proving that the laser uses almost no juice.
I have carried a 26 as my ECD and my backup to my g19 as fed law enforcement t. After seeing this video, I will be ordering the tlr6 and holster. Great videos....
The 2 employees you had working with you at your booth in Costa Mesa were total jerks. I inquired about some parts and they totally blew me off. I brought my money home and ordered everything from Midway USA. My guide rod, extended take down, mag release, slide stop and plug will be here in a few days.
I been going to Glock Store for about four years. Never had issues. Lenny even helped me buy my G43 at the Del Mar gun show this year. All of his employees were helpful with my gun purchases, modifications and questions.
Thats kinda funny. Just ordered the tlr6 from midway, immediately before looking this video up on youtube. I already know what i want. I just wanted to get wet over it some more
Lenny is the glock man who I can't stop watching. The only side affect is my wife wants to beat me for spending so much money at glockstore. You gotta love it?
Man love the package but I agree 100 lumens is not bright at all. Would anyone happen to know an identical light laser combo with something a lot brighter?
Just like simplicity! Doesn't matter if it's a glock, sig Sauers, hk, etc , but do prefer glock due to it being my first handgun purchase, glock 19 gen 3 lol. Also most of that is to due with my career and what they give us options to carry
I got the Streamlight TLR-6 for my g43x. Just the flashlight version. After the installation, it seems to pinch the lower frame up into the front of the slide. There's no gap there like down the rest of the slide and frame. I have not shot it yet and have no idea if it will effect cycling. Any advice?
Like your videos, very simple explanations, l'm going to buy my very first gun and it's going to be that one (26 gen 4) and l think that laser-light combo it's just great....thanks for sharing !!!
Good review Lenny! Also like a lot of the cool work and builds you guys do and have done! I'm in the works for some slide and frame work and it's either you guys or MKP arms or maple leaf firearms. Have been watching and following you 3 close to choose! But wanna send in my slide for a rmr/vortex viper cut, and refinish, and also to have you guys slap me on some suppressor sights 👍🏼. Will prolly send my gen 4 glock 19 talo in first before my gen 5 or etc to make sure I like the red dot for all guns I know for my gen 4 19 I do forsure. Thanks keep the vids coming Corey
But my SC has a rail. I need to know if I can use a g19 compatible light since I’m running a long slide but my pic rail is a 26 pic. 19 slide. So I can potentially fit either but flush would be nice. It sure if my pic mount is long enough. Literally have to go to the store and fit and test
Lenny like the video good. Job but I have some questions for you. Will that fit a Ruger SR9 compact? why is the beam not green considering green is easier on the eyes to see. I get one for my glock 26 if the beam was green.
Ahoy Lenny , you do a great job Mate , and we are grateful - Thank you Lenny . The Aro Tek night sights you mention on the pistol are not good because they don't offer a front ridge on the back-sight . Rounding only factors in on the back of the back-sight and not on the front of the back-sight And with a custom made kydex holster to suit TRUGLO TRITIUM PRO NIGHT-SIGHT'S , rounding won't factor in at all unless the night-sight manufacturer is a lunatic ! So snagging on clothing is not a factor at all either , and goes down to reputable manufacturer's and BUYER BEWARE POLICY , within reason . THE BEST NIGHT SIGHTS ARE TRUGLO TRITIUM PRO ! ! ! I like the white front sight , but many will prefer the orange . I bid you well Lenny ... JAH BLESS Soul ...
Indoors, Laser Sights can suck after the first shot, as all the smoke from the discharge(s), in stagnant air, tend to block the laser from the target, and instead, reflect off the smoke (very distracting for me). A good weapon-mounted flashlight, however, is a great thing to have, and really let you see your sights on the gun. I'm not a fan of lower power lights like this (100lm), since I am used to having 800 lumens on my duty pistol..100 lumens to be pretty weak by today's standards, but that said, better to have some light, than no light! Night Sights have their downsides as well. After your first shot in darkness, you will reduce your night vision from the flash, resulting is your night sights appearing to be dimmer. I vote good sights first (spend the extra few bucks to at least get the front sight tritium), then focus on lighting, not necessarily laser. But, with the G26, it appears that the TLR-6 is the best bet for light anyway. Do some dry fire practice with good sights and the light... I think you will like how the sights "pop" with the light target area.
I have the TLR-6 and its made of thin flimsy plastic. once mounted onto the trigger guard it will move slightly right or left and the laser light will be off a lot. would recommend something else.
Lenny - can you please tell us if the TLR-6 will fit the Glock 36 - anybody who has a 36 is looking for a laser/light combo - please - please and Thank You!
Ok I found the video I wanted since I have a G26, however I’m concerned about customer service. I’ve been in Banking for many years and honestly I can’t stand bad customer service. I’ll give it a try.
I lost the Allen wrench that came with laser. I went to Walmart and bought Allen wrench kit in standard and metric. It had small wrenches, but none fit. It must be micro small. I searched all over the net. Anyone know where to buy or the size ? Thanks
@@tombogaert1015 Thanks Tom Later I went into my toolbox in my car and I had another Allen wrench kit. I didn't think any would fit because most are large size. But it actually had a very small, the smallest, that fit my laser. To avoid losing it, I will add the whole kit to my gun bag. Thanks again for your reply.
I got the Viridian C5 for my p30. I've had zero problems with it and if you're looking for green laser light combo this is one of the best for the money.
The C5 is a great light. I have one on my Walther P99c. I also have the TLR-6 for my m&p shield. I tend to like the C5 slightly more though. It just seems to be built better. Not all plastic.
I'm have no reason to question your assertion about the Viridian C5 however it is a rail mount device so it won't work on my G27, nor a 26 or 33...and it doesn't have a light. I was waiting for a green laser TLR-6 but Crimson Trace doesn't seem to be in a hurry to offer that option so I'll probably get the TLR-6 with a red laser. For a street price of
They have horrible customer service. Will never order from them again, bought a barrel that had a huge ding in it. And they wouldn't even replace it! When I had picture evidence! So I spent 179 on a g27 9mm threaded conversion barrel that won't even cycle the slide without getting jammed up in the ejection port. Thanks glockstore
That’s nice!!! Great job!! I don’t have a pistol as of right now still going to the gun range to shoot different pistols so that I pick the right one that best fit me. I love the #glock43x it fits perfectly in my hand.. but before I make a final decision I will try out a few more hand guns at the gun range.. I love following you on all social media.. @@joshuahawkins2743 Sorry I don’t remember but you should be able to tell pretty easily just by trying. I’m sure you can also find the manual online.
Thank you for the info. I thought it odd that you'd be forced to use the light and laser together.

That's actually a good question.
Maybe you still need the night sights if your battery goes out or the laser light is damaged
Given Murphy's laws, two is one and one is none. Iron (or plastic) sights are always a good backup in case of electrical or other failure.
