Battery manufacturers (even in China) should not be allowed to "bogusly" label their Lipo batteries capacity. Watch this video to see another BIG surprise with batteries from China! This time in the Breeze 4k drone. Thanks for watching.
I’m having a blast with my BREEZE, my wife got it for me for Christmas, wasn’t a fan until I got it, it’s right up there with my high quality drones.. great video
Thank you for the kind words. I am glad to see that you are enjoying your Breeze so much. If you want to step up the fun a little (a lot actually), try to get a Bebop 2 Power on sale! Look at my recent videos on this underrated drone! Thank you for visiting my channel.
Absolutely extraordinary! Thank you so much for that battery test. You are going to help a lot of people out who such as myself are getting a 4K Breeze and want to know if you can raise the flight time. Thank you!!!
The Yuneec Breeze stock battery is priced at $22 at Walmart currently. That is much cheaper than anything you have come up with for the stock battery. I went ahead and bought 3 batteries and have been quit satisfied.
Yup, this is what I meant. When you can get a genuine Yuneec battery on sale for around $25-$30, it makes no sense to buy a replacement from China. Except that several countries do not have access to these deals! Thanks for watching!
Good point. We don't have Yuneec parts at Walmart here in Canada! So I was REALLY surprised when a subscriber told me months ago that he had bought his Yuneec batteries at Walmart (USA). Cheers!
You do realize that increasing the mAh doesn't increase the flight time at the same ratio power percentage is increased if u got a 2200mah 100percent the charge of the factory battery, you will not double the original flight time u might half it, but u might not even get that. There are equations to figure it out but just because u get a battery 25percent more power doesn't mean u get 25percent more flight time.
You are welcome. A few of my subs have said that they have bought Yuneec batteries on eBay and Walmart for even less than the GiFi ones. I would think that the ones at Walmart are authentic since Walmart sells Yuneec products. I am not so sure about eBay though... Thanks for watching!
Thank you for your nice comment. Yes I know about the product links. This is something I have not been doing and perhaps I should reconsider. Since it looks like you are a drone guy like me, the Bebop 2 with controller and goggles is almost half price now at BestBuy. I guess they are making room for the new Anafi. I am now considering buying that. Much more range than the Breeze and I also get goggles. Have you flown that drone???
So from what I see the Anafi looks nice; however, it has no obstacle avoidance sensors. So for me it seems the DJI Air is the better choice. From what I see so far. I personally have the Spark. It cost me 600+ too. Go figure. For a little more I could of have gotten the air. However, I first got the Spark for 300 then the charger for 130 then the case then the controller and so on. Regarding Affiliate links. I talked about that with everyone on my only show back in February. ruclips.net/video/x7sTiSDLtBY/видео.html Start watching it at 15:00 A lot of people like Patreon; however, I think Patreon isn't needed. If we all did Affiliate links we all help each other. I personally like to click an Amazon link from you or anyone else and know you get 5% or more. I got a 300 dollar drone on Amazon a few months ago and as I see it I could go to Amazon and buy it. Or click your link I still pay 300 dollars and you would have gotten some money. It's way way better than Patreon. So yes sign up for Affiliate links it's far better and I'm a believer in it. Check out Shareasale.com Also check out www.tubebuddy.com/doit Tube buddy is free and helps a Lot!
I really need to work on affiliate links. Regarding the drone business, I love my Breeze (paid $200 for it!) but I want a drone I can do flight plan with. My brother uses Litchi for his Phantom 3 and I know we can also do this with the Bebop 2 using the Parrot app. I will need to make a decision but like you said its a lot of money!
I had all 3 the same The tight fit was caused by the white battery case being 0.2mm taller.. I just sanded the corners As you slide it in, you can see its too tall.
Hi, I have just watched this video and I'm shopping for extra batteries for my Breeze 4K. I think the stiffness of the 1300 mAh battery is due to the thicker contacts of the the said battery. It may cause reliability issue, battery charger and the Quad contacts are now bigger and then you plug-in the original battery and the 1700, contacts are not that strong. With vibration and all, this might just cause flying issue. So I plan to buy the 1700 mAh, like you said I just checked ebay.ca and amazon.ca. What is your current experience with the Breeze and the batteries? Regards, Pogimo
I agree with your assessment and I would recommend the 1700 mAh batteries. However, one commenter did mention a few weeks ago that he found original Yunnec batteries at Walmart for around $20. If these are still available and you have access to a Walmart, I would buy Yuneec before GiFi for that price. My experience has been very good but I stopped using the 1300 batteries because I was afraid of damaging my charger. Thank you for visiting my channel.
Never, and I have charged several batteries several times. The only issue I have, as I show in my other video (Yuneec 1150 versus GiFi 1300) is that the GiFi Power 1300 mAh battery needs to be pushed really hard in the charger. If not, you get the blinking blue light, which means abnormal charging. At first I thought my two GiFi 1300 were defective! Thanks for watching!
Weird charge cycles, 5% battery and charge takes 1hr, them a same battery 20min charge, and this goes back n forth with different charge rates. Don’t understand, but I think it’s the battery quality. On a full charge I take off and fly straight up to 200 feet and battery drops to about 15-18%. Love the drone but not the battery fly time of 5-9mins.
Agreed I have 3 batteries, One which flashes green and the 2 others flash blue. All #Yuneec Brand. Prob will never buy their products again. Lesson Learned.
Hi Dave and Josh. I wanted to do a test before replying to your messages. My new 1700mAh from GiFi also takes 1 hour to charge from 10%. So, ALL my batteries take 1 hour to charge, the 1150mAh from Yuneec, my two 1300mAh from GiFi and the 1700mAh from GiFi. Which tells a lot again about the wrong capacity indicated on the GiFi batteries. For the two 1300mAh batteries, I have to push hard to go from the blue light to the flashing red light (charging). Perhaps this is the problem with two of your Yuneec batteries. The contacts could be a little different. Also, you could have a charger problem. I had that problem in the past with another manufacturer and fortunately I had a friend living nearby who had the same charger. So I was able to pinpoint my problem to my charger, my batteries were not the problem. Hopefully you can do that as well. I hope this helps!
I appreciate your advice. I order a new charging kit through B&H and have the same issues. I believe I ran the batteries below 10%. Im having trouble getting them out of the "Abnormally charging" phase. I hoping to buy a Battery Plug Cable for Chargers but cant seem to get one in the USA. I found this website but they're located in Poland and do not appear to ship to the States. Reached out to them but have not heard anything back. aeromind.pl/product-eng-1866-Yuneec-Breeze-4K-Battery-Plug-Cable-for-Chargers.html
I know people hate Wal-Mart but at lots of Wal-Mart stores, the yuneec 4k battery is on sale for $15. I think Wal-Mart is trying to get rid of the yuneec and bring in the dji products.
I love Walmart. I got my Sharper Image DX-2 drone there (videos on my channel) and it is one of the best mini drones I have owned. So Walmart does have some cool brand name products (LEGO is another example). $15 for a Yuneec Breeze battery is amazing! I would prefer to buy stock than the bogus batteries I got on eBay from China but my local Walmart does not carry Yuneec stuff !!! Speaking of brands, like I have said in another video, we really need three solid companies in the drone business to keep innovation alive and avoid a monopoly situation... I would like to see as a minimum Yuneec, Parrot and dji to succeed! Thanks for commenting!
@@SuperdanTech I appreciate it. Was just concerned because someone else mentioned after 4 months of use their gifi battery lost a tremendous amount of flight time.
If you watch my two videos on stock and GiFi batteries, you will see that they last about the same time despite having different capacity markings. So if you have access to a store where the Yuneec brand is available I would go for that. If not, buy the GiFi 1700 on eBay or directly from the manufacturer on their website. Thank you for visiting my channel.
I have 2 extra batteries that doesn’t work and one that does the one that does gives me no problem with the chargers I have 3 chargers the other 2 keep blinking blue I tried switching em around but it won’t work what do u suggest
I had the same problem. As I show in the video, the connectors are a little different with the GiFi batteries. You have to push the battery hard into the charger then it should work. If it does not, then I would say that you have a defective battery. Thank you for visiting my channel.
SuperdanTech of course u helped out bro I saw a video where dude used a new battery to jump start his old ones with small wire positive to positive and negative to negative if u do try u need s tester Also ✌️
Nice drone you have, nice battery also but a few days ago my drone was broked, as the drone was hit by a 🌲 tree's branch!😢😭! It's really a bad day for me! But I will now purchase another, but waiting for a new technology drone release! Thank you, good bye! And don't forget to feed your cozmo everyday with power cubes! Lol!
Let me break this down like a fraction. Just because a battery works in a device and is rated at a certain mAH amp doesn't mean it was ENGINEERED for that actual device. Its like me building a honda from the ground up and when i'm done i'm like well the motor is rated at 40 miles to the gallon but i'm only getting 30. Yeah thats because the car was literately just thrown together (just like this battery) and just because it technically works doesn't mean it was ENGINEERED for what it was actually designed for. REMEMBER guys just because something technically works doesn't mean its SUPPORTED. These batteries probably get way to hot while flying which is why the OVERRATE the batteries to begin with so there some what comparable to OEM batteries. 💥
I got mine on eBay from China! They should be available in the US! But you don't really need to buy on eBay. Walmart USA has regular deals on the real Yuneec batteries. They are high quality and I recommend them. Thank you for visiting my channel!
Yes I bought Gifi 1700 from Hongkong and I tested indoor flight only lasts about 10 minutes with 15% battery still remaining. If you can't get genuine battery then you have to settle with these fakes or copycats even though give you a 10 min it acceptable in my opinion.
Yah its acceptable except like I said the genuine Yuneec batteries are sometimes on sale for about the same price. I am also somewhat nervous that cheap lipo batteries could potentially damage the charger or give trouble during charging... Thank you for visiting my channel.
What a surprise isn't-it? You expect around 16 minutes of flight time and you get only 11 minutes, exactly the same as the stock Yuneec battery! What a bummer! Thanks for watching.
