Great video. We have the breeze. We are using it for my son. He's handicapped. And in a wheelchair. The awesome thing is having the FPV goggles and controller. With them he can now see things he'll never see. It has opened up a whole new world for him. He even helped taking it up to 325 feet using flight mode.
Awesome, guys. Ive seen alot if different Vids about the breeze, but yours is quite the best, bc you can see so much more. You showed the controls, the system and some cool pics. Thank you.
Crashed the hell out of this thing several times, broken up into pieces, but everything clicked back into place, and it still works flawlessly. 10/10 would recommend.
A video of "how to autopilot and stabilization" using the good old APM on FT cargo or even FT spear would make a fantastic episode and will help everyone, esp. the beginners who don't have access to people that could help them teach how to fly - this is the technology that the new trainer planes are coming with! Will be a huge help to so many people in the community!
I have owned a HK X251 for 2 months. I love its light total weight, 2S batteries, the long lasting brushless motors, the transmitter that allows different models to be programed in, its incredible durability, its acro ability that I do not use, and its incredible speed capability. I do not need to get into FPV at this time or photography of my yard and house where I fly. I wish it had atmospheric altitude hold, and headless mode. It does have 300 yd range advertised but it disappears from my sight way before that. Its light weight seems to allows it to hit pretty darn hard and come out unscathed. The 950 mah battery it comes with gets 11 minutes of easy going flying per charge. I have 2 1300 mah 2S batteries from my short lived JJRC X! that give me 15 to 19 minutes of gentle flying. I kept track of the minutes I have flown it on these 3 batteries and it is over 16 and a half hours. I have had it with brushed motors found in the first 3 toy quads because they wear out and then all those little screws and soldering. I hope the quad industry realizes some of us love an inexpensive , durable , and long lasting quad and do not need GPS and all the video business. Keeping it light means staying out of the FAA radar too. Little brushless motors move light weight quads like mine at incredible none GPS restricted speeds. I enjoy your site very much. Thank you for what you have done for the RC community.
i have been a huge fan for a while now and i just wanted to say that your video are so entertaining even if they may be in a little nerdy way if you say, really cool guys keep it up
Hi Guys, I am yet another big fan of your work. I am having a sense that lately there is something off with your episodes, I wish I could have more a constructive comment on what is off. for example this episode felt like a pure PR for the breeze, I mean given the features that Trent reviewed and camera capabilities are so 2012, why not comparing it to top of the line product, or point out the price for example. again, thank you guys for everything you do you, just had to share my feelings.
I just got one of these last week. I've posted a few videos on my channel of the different settings and footage. I'm not really into it that much. So I'll be returning it and saving the money for a Mavic..
This was really informative! I watched the whole thing and it was both entertaining and helpful in my hunt for the drone for my youtube channel. Thanks guys! I love your long hair too!!!! S:D
Great Video I have one and I love it but I'm still learning how to use it! I love Flite Test they tought me a lot in their begineer series! Thanks Flite Test. RIch
I'd still like to see a review on the Spedix S250 PRO, or Spedix Black Knight 210. They seem to have a ton of features and a really low price point. Would they make good entry level quads?
I enjoy my Breeze, especially with the GameSir controller that you can purchase with it. You can use that in the Pilot Mode. I get some great pictures and video with it. Couple that with IMovie app for iPhone and add text and music. Whole lotta fun!
Dji sent flite test a pre release. GoPro has not sent a prerelease drone. When it becomes available to the public, I am sure they will buy and review it
Can you guys get your hands on an Eflite Convergence VTOL? Id love to see how it performs. It would be even more amazing if you could compare it to that Graupner VTOL you guys previewed earlier this year! PLZ PLZ PLZ (and thank you)!
Hey do a review on the Turnigy Evolution, its suppose to be more like a game pad specifically for quads which don't really need a briefcase size transmitter to fly. Also, yah more fixed wing stuff!
I would like to know about DJI mavic competitors. I need a drone that i can have with my while i travel and hike, and take a quick picture or video with a good to oke quality, and if it has an orbit or follow options even better. Preferably with a cam that can look forward but also strait down. Can anyone or even FT help me out to find some good options?
Tell us what we have to do to get our phone to see the drones wifi. Ive read every forum and tried everything but buying a new phone. Any help would be appreciated.
Free idea: take a miniature helicopter rotor system and mount it as the motor and prop on a plane: A blade mCP-type rotor would give you variable-pitch and cyclic which could be used for yaw and pitch. I haven't seen any experimentation with cyclic-controlled propellers on planes, just a few papers talking about it.
im thinking prop speed on a plane makes it impossible. but possibly a drive shaft with u-joint and the cyclic/pitch controls are connected to the carrier bearing. somethin like that.
Hello, I had previously been able to get the green lights on the breeze but when taken it out for another flight it started to give only white lights for the front arms? What to do?
how he didn't tell the frame rate in 4k... xD I guess it's 12-15FPS when it's only 30@1080p. The problem with letting the companies present their stuff is that they always want to let their product look only the best. It's like home order television... It's nothing like a decent review.
No, you can find in the FAQ on their website that 4k is 30 fps also, frame rate doesn't always increase or decrease with resolution. I do agree with you that Flite Test has a tendency to be very positive about products where they partner with the manufacturer, which is a bit concerning. Then again, they never claim that this is a comprehensive review, they call it a "walk through of features" and a "showcase", so critical viewers should be able to determine that this is not intended to be a comprehensive review.
hey bruh i just want to tell yu that your channel is the most awesome channel on rc plane that i had ever seen in my life and wanted that god give yu 1000k subscribers,Just one question JOSH bruh how can i talk with yu personally
Really depends. I own the breeze myself and am thinking about returning it for the spark. Only problem is,its a $350.00 difference. I got the breeze and Bluetooth controller for $299.00 with a three year warranty for $28.00.The breeze and spark both do 1080 and 720 but the breeze does 4k which the spark doesn't. Don't get me wrong, the 4k has to be recorded with no winds or inside because it doesn't have stabilization. The only positive i can say about the spark is that it has a longer range. Dji is just a name brand everybody wants and that is what is all boils down to. The yuneec breeze app user interface is a lesson to learn as the breeze instruction books are about as worthless as used toilet paper. I had to watch videos here on youtube to learn all about the breeze that i know now. final thought.....Breeze or spark?.....Roll the dice.
actually if i shot wiht my actual drone with my gopro 4 i shot in 2.7K@60fps to get rid of air propellers and when i do warp stabilization (i have to get rid of certain part of my footage. So actually a GOOD IS 1080@30p is good if you already have image stabilisation a bit sad without that sweet 60p for some slow motion . But it's okay . I guess . I really think 2017 is the year of the foldable "selfie" drone we will see a tons of it
Great video. We have the breeze. We are using it for my son. He's handicapped. And in a wheelchair. The awesome thing is having the FPV goggles and controller. Love the new tech stuff. Keep'em coming.
I never knew Josh had a family! He's such an amazing guy, what nice and fun family he has!
Yeah I always thought he had just been magically born from thin air without a mother or father! What a surprise!
I recently picked up a Breeze 4k drone and it's incredibly simple and stable, not to mention takes amazing videos.
Great looking family. Josh. Keep 'em flying!
Thanks for going into the new technology so I can understand it a little better.
awesome video, flite test is great and it's awesome to see more of your family's getting involved in the episodes. thumbs up from me to you all

You guys are great . Keep the reviews coming as I patiently what for my Mavic!!

I asked for a Yuneec Breeze review on the last video you guys posted. I didn't think you would have a video up this soon! Awesome video guys!
The Woodi World this is for you brother!
The Woodi World I've got some flight footage on my channel with various video settings. Let me know if there's anything specific you'd like to see.

again, thank you guys for everything you do you, just had to share my feelings.

Great video! Mine is on order and I'm super psyched!

Nice video, always enjoy watching.
I'd still like to see a review on the Spedix S250 PRO, or Spedix Black Knight 210. They seem to have a ton of features and a really low price point. Would they make good entry level quads?

please review the Xiro Explorer G or the Gopro Karma Drone. you can do a comparison to the Xiro and the DJI phantom 3!!
I enjoy my Breeze, especially with the GameSir controller that you can purchase with it. You can use that in the Pilot Mode. I get some great pictures and video with it. Couple that with IMovie app for iPhone and add text and music. Whole lotta fun!
Nice CMYK shirt, Alex. I appreciate a little graphic design humor.
Wow you must really love taking selfies to drop the wedge they want for this drone!

Can you guys do a walk-through of the Zerotech Dobby?

It is a concept deserving some research.
