Its working! 2 batteries back from the dead! Thanks so much! I can't believe it! They both were measuring less than .005 volts on all 3 posts, back in 2 mins of work!
Absolutely bloody fantastic. I have 4 of these batteries that were apparently goosed with the dreaded blue flashing light. I skipped the whole multimeter as I don’t have one and improvising with my Makita 10.8v battery along with some speaker wire, I woke them up. I salute you sir!! Off to do some photography and drone filming up the North Coast 500 in Bonnie Scotland tomorrow.
I cannot believe how well this worked out for me! I recently bought a used Yuneec Breeze for £50 on Gumtree. Everything was in great condition (hardly used) except the battery which had been stored flat and left that way for a long time. Each cell measured 0.05 volts on my meter - so about as near to dead and buried as you can get. I followed your advice as a last resort and, to be honest, I really did not think it would work. Especially because it requires a bit of guess work about how long to boost the battery. But I thought - what the hell, I've got nothing to lose and I happen to have an 18v Bosch. Got to admit now it has worked brilliantly - the battery is back to life and I have flown the drone twice now for ten minutes a time. Thanks, Ron - a great hack!
Well I appreciate you watching and that's work for me I own three of those Breeze drones and I did the same thing we've the battery sit around and they died in the buy a new ones I had to figure out how to make them work and that was my solution so I appreciate it let people know about it alright have a great day thanks for watching
Ohhh this works. I haven’t seen a red light since I bought it. Thank You So Much. I used a black & decker 20v 1.5AH battery. I touched it for 4 seconds, then it charged for 1 sec then blue light then nothing . So then I touched it for 10 seconds & it’s charging. Thank you 🙏
This was helpful. I had a yuneec breeze I haven't used in quite awhile. Battery was blinking green when I tried to charge. Pulled out a multi-volt adaptor, and topped off the battery to 10v, it's not recognized by the charger. Crossed fingers this works. Appreciate you taking the time to post this.
Just tried this on 2 batteries that would not charge. Worked on the first and I discovered the second most likely has a dead cell so probably just need to replace that one. Thank you for the informative video.
Seems is not smart battery and that is great. Anyway did you open it, to see if is some electronics or pins are directly solder on battery. If is not smart battery we can use any 3s lipo battery. Or perhaps 3s li ion. And we can charge it with common rc battery charger. Thank you
No never open them up to see what kind of battery was I just use my ohm meter to figure out which pin was what on the Drone and the battery alright thanks for watching share it I appreciate it thanks
Hi Ron, Maybe you can help me, I can't find the app in the play store for this drone anymore, is there a substitute for the breeze app cam that you know of? Thanks.
Hi brother Ron, this is nuts, I put the app on my tablet and it's now asking for a password to connect. Thank you for any help you can give me. God bless.
So if I have a battery n charge them to wake up the battery but it also drops down the charge even though I have 4volts on the middle two and 10 or higher volts on the last one but won’t charge it then I check it with volt meter and it’s under 10 volts and under 4 volts does it mean battery no good I got it to blink from just green to blue but won’t charge it to blink red is it a bad battery still or can I wake it up still and make it work any advice or trick to fix it
Also how long are they supposed to last once using on drone my other one only last under 2 1/2 minutes is that normal or is battery going bad aswell one works and my second doesn’t wake up help thanks
I had two batteries that wouldn’t work. Using this technique I got one of the two to work. The one that doesn’t work I get over 10 volts on the far left pin, 7+ volts next pin over, but can only get 3.8 volts on the third pin from left to right.
No it's got to be 5 volts 500 milliamps to make it work properly you use anything over 12 volts he have a chance of blowing the battery up all right have a good day
I used a IMAX B6 for this... don't have to worry about overheating or overcharging-- it has auto-off features. If you're serious about fixing these, with one please pm me
No I'm not worried about overheating I just do this for a hack because I know there's people out there like me it can't afford all that fancy equipment so just an easy way doing it so okay thanks for watching
It worked!! My battery has been dead or whatever for over a year an couldn't get it to charge... until today after doing this! THANK YOU sir!!!

Do you know how to make a cable for using a ballance charger? Thanks for info on waking up battery.
hi Ron, do you have any tips on battery that drops from 100% to 3% in just a minute of use?
A new one

Big thumbs up my friend 👍
Thank you. One was repaired but the other battery was getting bloated, so I stopped immediately. . Watch out when you try this.
Thanks its work . Thank you sir
Your welcome 👍
How do you jump the black and decker battery
You will have to figure out what sides the positive. Then hook it up the same way I did on the video should be ready to go
Can I use a portable battery car jumper?
No it's got to me 5volts and about 500 milliamps to make that work if you use a car charger at my blow the battery up
