I see many sellers who have their own brands, like "Xuxu," and they create listings featuring three toothpaste products from well-known brands, and the title reads "Xuxu Pack of 3 Toothpaste (the brand)" etc. How does this type of listing work? Does Xuxu purchase its own UPC? thank you!
To list the brands name anywhere in your listing, you have to be brand registered on Amazon. And then even when you’re brand registered, you still need to make sure you’re authorized to sell that brand or your listing will be removed. Hope that helps!

So you CAN do this- but first be sure that the brand is reseller friendly and won’t shut down your listing and issue a violation, and second be aware that other people can still jump onto the listing and there’s nothing you can do to kick them off without brand registry.
Hi, I noticed that the rules that said you could create bundles with the generic brand have changed. Now it says that the brand must be from the most expensive element of the Bundle. However, I received an ip suspect logo for having listed 6 OB tampons with the generic brand. I found out and the IP disappeared. Do you still think that listing bundles as generic is safe?
It is safe as long as you do your brand research first! You can’t list products using a brand IF that brand historical only has 1-3 sellers. Then you know that’s not a safe brand to be reselling.
What is brand IF ? For example, the brand O.B tampons has a lot of people selling it but I listed 6 boxes as Generic and took them with the IP suspect logo, I had to delete them. Sorry to be abusing but what do you think of the brands: are Tabasco and Heinz safe?

Hey guys! So to bundle name brand products there’s two way: 1. List as “generic” as the brand name with a GTIN exemption. (Easy method BUT you’re limited now with not being able to actually use the brand name in the listing) 2. Register a trademark under your LLC and get brand registry on Amazon! With this you’ll be able to use your own brand as the brand name for the listing AND you’ll get A+ content features, PLUS you’ll get to sprinkle that original brand name on the listing! For both methods be sure that the brands you’re selling are reseller friendly and you’re not gated (to avoid IP issues). Hope that helps!
hello Can I just create a regular bundle? like 3 different varieties of product A from brand X or 3x of product A from brand X, put it under my brand, take a photo of the product with my logo (sticker) slapped on, then apply for a transparency code?
You wouldn’t apply for a transparency code. You could do this model and use the brand name IF you’re brand registered and if you have permission from the brand- otherwise you will be hit with an IP violation.
@@ProfitGuru1 thanks for replying. Yes, I end of not doing the transparency code. Here is what happened. i am brand registered so I created a bundle under my own brand. Otherwise, it wouldn't let me. If I use the actual brand name, it asks for a UPC, but since the bundle is unique there is no UPC for that. It wouldn't let me do GTIN excemption as well since it is branded. The only caveat is Amazon flags my listings for some brands so If I removed their brand name in my PDP then Amazon clears it. Also, I had a listing where Amazon supresses my images; maybe the packaging contains a registered term? When I took a picture of just the product without the packaging, it went through. Is there something I unknowngly braking? Bundling is kinda confusing.

Brand registered means you have a trademark. Brand approval means you don’t have a trademark, but you went above and beyond to print your branded logo onto a poly bag. Once you have those poly bags in hand you’ll take a picture of them with whatever products you want in your bundle. Then create a new listing, select that you don’t have a UPC and instead here is where you will request for brand approval using those photos. If you do get a trademark, then you will submit for brand registry. Once you’re registered then you’ll create new listing and be able to list them under your brand name. Essentially having brand registry just has less speed bumps to tackle when creating new listings, sometimes glitches happen when you only have brand approval or are listing generic. Also you get A+ content features with the trademark registry. Hopefully that helps 😊

All i want to sell is a 3pack for a product that I'm selling easy right? but not for this dope. Do you have a video that Does just that. That’s really good feed back! Sometimes I think I should talk fast to get to the point and save peoples time, but that’s good to know that I should just keep a fluid pace. As long as you’re ungated in whatever you’re trying to sell and they aren’t brand protected, I don’t see why your bundles aren’t working? I would need a bit more content to truly help. I would definitely suggest to try and diversify your niches. There’s a lot of potential out there.

Can you mix brands or all items in the bundle has to be from the same brand?
Mix! But make sure the brands are ones that you’re ungated in and they won’t issue you an IP violation.

You don’t use a UPC. You either list under your own brand name (if you have brand registry), or list as “generic” with a GTIN exemption 😊
