    Thank you for your honesty and not being a fake Amazon Guru! I fully understand you. I've lost money with closed listings and returning/disposing of products- depending on weight- the cost could be more than the product itself. I am on the same path. Started RA, then OA, then Wholesale- and a couple of bundles. Will not go the private label route because i've already been burnt with closed listings, ip complaints, etc. I have almost sold out of every product I have and start fresh. I may continue but will be extremely selective. I will start with FBM- as I have more control of my own products and I can list on other ecommerce platforms.

    Great video!
    I definitely understand where you are coming from from. Especially from a man standpoint who natural goal is to financially provide and protect his family. I recently back tracked into the e-commerce business from the logistics services to build into the warehouse distribution center so I can have the warehouse space to benefit off the port companies who need warehousing and transportation services. Yeah, Ikr. That’s a lot. However, it’s all in my head. I am a very detailed and dedicated person, so it will get done because I know are the moves that has to be made. However, like you stated. It can be stressful at times. Family support and understanding is very important. Stay strong and healthy! 💪🏾

    My wife first started looking at Amazon about 16 months ago. She would show me videos, SOOO MANY VIDEOS. I told her "those people are full of S***". They were all talking about the piles of money they make. "Sign up for my class and I'll tell you how to do it". BLAH BLAH BLAH. I'm sure some of them do fine, but they're not all raking it in (not from Amazon sales). It wasn't until we came across your video, I was convinced to get in. You were and are so honest about it all. You NEVER glamorized it, said it's easy or a get rich quick deal. You were right, it's very stressful, time consuming and takes much careful planning and consideration. We have been in for about 14 months. Still burning the candle at both ends, if there were more ends, they would be burning too. It took about a year before I was comfortable pulling any money out of the business. I wanted to leave it in, allow it to grow. It's still growing, but slowly, and that's okay. Because of you, we went into this, knowing full well what it was going to take. Thanks again for your honesty.

      Absolutely!! I HATED trying to find ACTUAL help but people wanting my money for it. If you’re so “rich” from Amazon, then why are you bothering to waste time to teach people and try and get money lol

      What I’ve REALLY learned this past year, is that tomorrow is always a new day, and if I had a crap day and feel super unaccomplished with myself.. I’m going to try my best to wake up the next morning and do better! It’s never too late to start the first day of the rest of your life ❤️

    I feel often that Amazon isn't always worth all the extra stress. I've sold hundreds of product and only have about 12 reviews. I got one bad review out of all the good and Amazon is stressing me about my account potentially getting shutdown. I've had great wholesale accounts get hijacked by price tanking. I've had Amazon prevent me from selling on listings even when I've gotten a wholesale agreement with the brand. I've gone through a bunch of crap with Amazon. It is not for the faint of heart. It is not easy money and it is not passive money. I have to give my family the attention they need as well. I've started making Amazon a business that I only work on from 8pm-10pm. I don't always work on it now, I do it based on how I feel each day. Good luck to you and your family, sounds like you've gotten your priorities organized. That will make Amazon much easier going forward.

    As a new seller, Amazon is fun, like solving a puzzle that you wind up getting paid for, yet highly stressful at the same time. But once health and family is compromised, you’ve just got to prioritize for yourself. Just so you know, we live our lives very similarly from what you described. Down to the procrastination from childhood, the stress induced hypertension, and yes, the family that thinks the best time to talk to you is right when you finally have gotten into the middle of something that took forever to get to 😅 Thank you for sharing something so personal with us. I can definitely relate 👍

    Great story, and thanks for sharing your experience. Have you and your husband ever considered both going full time into FBA? Become the employer vs. working for an employer. I would think it has to be very difficult to scale this business to replace a job, especially while working a full time job. You seem to have gained enough experience, and have the right mindset and passion to build and scale an FBA empire. It sounds like you just need the time in your week to fully commit and focus on executing against this business model. Glad my wife and I found your channel! We are jumping all in. We have always dreamed of working together and building our own business together. FBA might be the ticket- we will see…. Thanks for sharing your wisdom on RUclips!

    I completely feel & understand you. No worries you are a normal human being like us, we all procrastinate & overthink, imagine it took me 2 years to find & accumulate a list of 30 suppliers, 2 years. The list of the first 10 brands i found in the firsf 6 months i was so happy about them they opened me an account, but as you go on you go deaper you learn and i started laughing about myself that they weren't actually good profitable brands to jump in as wholesaler.. because i learned more i started to have the feeling until you reach a point where you can right away understand if the a brand is ok or not.. it really takes time like learning to pilot an airplane😄 and i also had stress induced hypertension but from my former job in my 20's , its ok accept it don't panic about it .. train yourself so once you don't fear it you won't fall in the white coat syndrome cycle, i guess you know what it is, Bpressure will decrease gradually and gets back to normal. And you are skilled & talented at doing videos stay safe

    • @ProfitGuru1
      @ProfitGuru1  2 месяца назад +1

      That white coat syndrome is the worst!!! The first time I went to a primary was when I got diagnosed- they freaked me out more because they kept asking if I was okay and if I was about to pass out because my bottom number was stroke level. I was like ughh no this is how I always feel I’m fine. They told me to leave and go to the emergency room and I was like haha no that’s not going to happen I’m literally fine! So they made me stay there for an hour and hooked me up with leads for whatever test that was. I told her I just always get nervous at the doctors and can’t stop my heart from racing 🤷‍♀️

    Cassandra, first thank you for the content that you create. Second, I will say a prayer for you to get alot out of this phase you have embarked on. Now for a bit of encouragement in a humorous way (based on what I think I know about you):
    Uhm. Really? You seriously do not know why you procrastinate? LOL!
    Ya think maybe it's because you are a dedicated wife, mom, daughter, sibling, friend, neighbor, coworker, mentor (to us RUclips students), teacher, counselor, content creator, video editor, graphic designer, solo-prenuer, housekeeper, cook, seamstress, etc.
    Uhm, I'd be procrastinating too! Cut yourself some slack.

      If it’s private label then this is your own unique product. You’ll need a manufacturer to make the product exactly as you want and include your brand logo on it.

    I appreciate the honesty, it can be exhausting seeing so many content creators posting videos glamorizing amazon as if everything is all honkey dory, its nice to see someone finally just being open and honest about what life is actually like being a 3rd party seller. Im currently still fighting an uphill battle but slowly making progress, alot of my listing on amazon either got taken over by price tankers or the brand decided to stop allowing people to sell it, so i added walmart to my list of platforms to sell on, which honestly has helped alot. But over all i don't see this as a long term thing for me, my plan is to start save up my profits and start moving it into investing into real estate etc, this way of thinking has made the stress of selling on amazon easier because i no longer see it as the end goal, just another tool im using to reaching my next goal.

      About Walmart, how are you avoiding from Amazon? I feel Amazon sells every single item there. Thats what happening to me.
