Yes I would its a great RC once you do a few upgrades. You don't have to do everything I did to this but I highly recommend these shocks and limit straps they seem to fix the suspension problem this has stock. The shock end pull off after crashes or big jumps.
@@gonzodetroitify his held up great once you fix a few issues the biggest ones being the rear shock issue and the chassis brace another one is the tie rods still need to figure out some good ones.
@@RC_Obsession Lol nothing broke that one was pretty durable. I should have kept that one, I sold it to buy the rustler 4x4. That was actually a triple backflip, I was trying so hard to land one and that was the best one lol
They only pull off if your going too far these weren’t meant to take super big jumps like a xmaxx this is more of a desert dirt racer otherwise the suspension wouldn’t lay flat
@@OverBudgetRC okay cool. Just picked the e revo up Sunday and man what a animal compared to anything else I’ve had. Started rc anout 5 months ago. I got a 2wd stampede vxl, a 2wd rustler vxl, a mini slash, and the hoss was my first 4 by 4 and ever since I got it I haven’t touched a 2wd. I thought the hoss was a animal but man the e revo is just on a different level lol
@@Ohwell423 Wow thats a lot in a short time you started then went all in. If you love the E Revo wait till you get an X Maxx the way you're going you'll have one in no time. They are all awesome. If you do get these shocks try to get some from a summit that was taken apart. much cheaper I think they are overpriced otherwise.
@@OverBudgetRC as of right now the only cars I have are the revo, the hoss, the mini slash, the stampede vxl, and a scx24. Wife makes me sell to make room when I want a new one lol. I honestly am done buying them for a bit. I’m having a ton of fun with the hoss and revo. I definitely want a xmaxx sometime though. Definitely have to be after the holidays
Would you recommend the erevo

I went with the maxx for toughness, I heard the e-revo broke alot.🤷♂️
@@halfkat4742 Ya i guess i waited to see how my buddies would hold up. He bought his when it came out.
@@OverBudgetRC how’s his held up your pals or good enough to buy one for yourself

One of the clips in the intro hurts to watch. Great job once again!
Which clip?
Thanks
@@OverBudgetRC The one doing the double backflip, then stopping suddenly by hitting the front end straight into the ground. 🤣😂👍

Ya I jump mine like the X Maxx lol
What if I leave the summit springs.
You can but the Summit springs are a lot stiffer if you wanted to have travel like the summit you would need the long travel rocker arms
What kind of shock straps are those?
They are from hot racing the link is in the description. Unfortunately they are currently out of stock.
Looks like the only difference in the gtr and the e revo 2.0 shocks are the gold shafts.
It's basically just the shock shafts are better but also the shock bodies are Teflon coated.
