Got the vxl as my first rc had gas one before but moved to battery powered because its more fun to drive
@marcojr2002 Nice. I had a nitro before but I just got tired of tuning them.
Move your fucking hands i can't see damn it
The ultimate is the way to go, as long as you have a little more space on the credit card, haha. Larry
@leapnlarry 🤣 of course its the best but it's $200 more. I'd still buy it lol
how you program the bec to 12 V??
You have to use the castle link usb adapter sold separately amd program it on your computer.
I finally got the new traxxas maxx v2 but it’s red
Pity I have not seen this before I bought Defender. I sent it back because of climbing isues. Now wondering to buy Bronco
@Robert-gg2vk Ya the bronco is better people like the defender because of the looks. But for actual use I'd take a bronco
Hello, We can supply some traxxas e-revo upgarded spare parts at nice price,such as below as example: The front shock absorber Total length100MM 2pcs ERO-011B USD6.59 bearing 15*10*4MM 8PCS ERO-008 5119 US$3.12 Rear hem arm 3 * 24MM 4P ERO-005S 5333 US$14.23 Front lower arm pin 3 * 24MM 4P ERO-006T 5332 US$12.49 Front upper swing arm pin 3 * 85MM 2P ERO-007S 5332 US$11.28 If you have interest,I can send you price list.
That thing is bad ass! Now, i wonder... would this be possible to do to a 2WD slash??
@mikehensley78 thank you. I've seen it done you would just have to use different parts possibly a different body depending on the chassis you use.
@@OverBudgetRC my son has a 2WD slash and wants a bandit buggy SO bad. it'd be super cool to convert his truck to a buggy. he would love it.
@mikehensley78 you can actually convert it to a bandit while still keeping the same suspension and tires to save on cost. I have video of how to convert it to a rustler and how to convert a rustler to a bandit so basically just change out the chassis, body, steering, and rear shock tower and you would have a slightly wider bandit which would be better. Or you can try to find a 1/8 buggy body to fit a slash the HCG chassis would probably be harder to find one vs an LCG chassis because of how wide the chassis is.
Can the body and parts be installed to fit the High Trail chassis on my Bronco as I would like to have 2 models with a single chassis?
@ChrisMiniSpeakers yes they can be swapped but you would have to change the parts over each time.
I've read never store in a metal box as the two different kinds of metals can react. Better to store in a battery bag and then inside the ammo box for extra protection.
@organicfool5634 the batteries are in heat shrink the metals aren't touching
I can tell you what they All have in common. Their Junk!😂
i store my lipo;s in a vintage unlockable victor safe. they came with the house since they are so heavy and previous didn't want to move them, one in a closet and one in the garage...i didn't want to pay someone to remove them, and now they finally have a purpose that may save my house someday.
@@ll3328 That's good
Does this also work with a 2wd slash?
I've seen people do it but it would have to be with different parts
Does this also work with a slash 2wd?
They don't have a longer chassis that will work with that body
nice just waiting for my max 6 Combo to arrive. I was curios of the wire gauge to connect both battery connectors . im assuming thats bought separately.
@sheldoniusSRSlider No, it's included with the max 6 I think it's 10 gauge though
@@OverBudgetRC thanks
Do you chew up diff gears? I have to replace them everything I use my teton. I'm so bummed
I never had a problem while I had it. But I've sold it a couple months ago.
Hello friend, excellent demonstration. I have a question: is there a big difference between the Axles 7151 from the E-Revo and the 7251 from the Summit?
@pablomejias6678 thank you they are interchangeable you can use either axles on both rcs. I think the Summit ones are better but I had a mini e revo on 3s and they didn't break so they are both good.
enough Videos out there showing the combustible vapour blasting out of various containers. the very expensive, professional containers are tighty sealed and are supposed to build up and contain pressure, instead of letting that explosive vapour out!
Im new lol so do i have to change the transmitter or can i keep the stock ?
@Mr360alan you can keep it stock but it might be hard to handle without a stabilty management transmitter
@OverBudgetRC oh ok that makes sense thank you. They don't sell that motor any more is there a updated one I can use?
@Mr360alan oh ok I haven't looked into these in awhile I'm not sure you could check on hobbywing to see what replaced it
@@OverBudgetRC ok thank tou
is it possible to replace all of these godforsaken phillips screws with hex ones? i cant stand working on these, especially if it's older, all the screws get stripped out the first time people use the wrong bit number on it
@seancook4317 I'm pretty sure they sell a screw kit for these. And yes I hate these too lol
This car is the biggest piece of shit ever ....
What is the difference between a lipo battery and a lithium ion battery? I have milwaukee lithium ion batteries for my drill and lithium ion batteries for my trail cameras. Should I store those in ammo cans?
@craigwagner327 no I just toss drill batteries around and leave them wherever lol. It's the internals that are different and lithium polymer (lipo) are more likely to go up in flames. Not really if you take care of them but it's possible. Drill batteries are lithium ion same as cell phones they are safer and less likely to go up in flames still possible but unlikely. Lipo batteries can put out more amps for the size which is why they are used for RCs.
@@OverBudgetRC so it's safe to leave my lithium ion drill batteries and trail camera batteries out. I dont need to store them in a safe container?
@craigwagner327 ya it should be fine I leave mine out.
@OverBudgetRC ok thanks for the help
Awesome Video, I've been wanting to do this but didn't know how, Thank You!!!!! I'm going to go make it now 👍
Thank you I'm glad it helped
Is it different for the vxl rustler?
@@TruthWillOutO it should be the same
@@OverBudgetRC i just bought a vxl so was trying to make it into a slash and pass the stampede parts to my rustler body
any specific mods i need for the slash
@TruthWillOutO you could wait till things break to upgrade. Axles are a good upgrade but you might want to just wait till things break
@@OverBudgetRC so i just need the chassis bumpers and rear arms and servro link part ?
The Summit is THE top enjoyable and versatile vehicle on the market. You can literally drive it over anything and anywhere. I suspect they need to replace the Rover on mars with the Summit!
Ya the Summit is awesome too bad they stop making them.
Do you know any aftermarket tires option for Raptor R with the same size? All I see is for the regular 1/10 short curse tire which is smaller.
I haven't seen any tires for it. Maybe 1/8 scale buggy tires but then you lose the realistic look of it.
Great vid👍🏻👍🏻 if I install rustler 4x4 front / rear shock towers on my slash will the rustler body work on my slash as well??
Thank you No the chassis is longer on the slash.
I do the same but, I leave some gasket in each corner to keep the lid tight
Fix your mic, you wearing a headset with the mic on your mouth?
Ay man nice vid but if you ever get really popular I would think about changing ur channel name because is makes it sound like overpriced rc 😂
@@Ciuit 🤣🤣
Like your videos, well explained
@@oscarcarrillo4924 thank you
I wonder if you could remove the rear body mount extension on the shock tower and use a Desert runner body. It is so tall and likely a weak point if it is aluminum and I'd rather not put the plastic part back in.
@Hutch_Davenport the chassis is longer on the Prerunner you could swap the chassis I have a video of how to do it
I bought the bl-2s, it's worth modifying it and how much power I can give it?
It can handle a vxl or hobbywing system on 3s you may just have to change the center driveshaft to aluminum if you upgrade the motor and speed controller.
Which should i get as a first time buyer?
The BL-2S is a good entry level and can be upgraded to go faster later.
Very helpful, thank you
@@wowshadowsedge no problem glad it helped you out
Bigger easier broken ???
If I had seen this comparison I would have just gone with the ultimate. I didn't know the chassis was that different. I got the VXL and it would have been nice to have a lower CG cause I roll mine all the time in my culdesac and down my street. I wonder if the chassis is easy to retrofit. Edit: Apparently there's a kit! Gonna get it!
@codyrunsfast1 I was just going to say there was a kit. Glad you saw it already.
I thought the rear arms were the same?
@@InaMopar no the rustler arms are much wider
@@OverBudgetRC I have the metal drive shafts on my vxl should they be able to work?
@InaMopar its possible but they might be too short
@@OverBudgetRC well then I’ll get the plastic ones just incase what’s the part numbers?
@@OverBudgetRC well then I’ll get the plastic ones just incase what’s the part numbers?
What body do you have on the v1 I need it. Great video also!
That body was sold awhile ago. You might still be able to get them through Traxxas but I'm not sure. Thank you 👍
Short rod ends or long? And steering link that goes to servo horn is 1935 right?
@RcThunderSpeedShop yes 1935 is the link and which rod ends
Would it be smart so slowly Upgrade my bl 2s into a ultimate?
@SHYNXCOOL it would probably cost more than the ultimate. It's possible, but you might be better off selling yours and upgrading.
Super vidéo ! Je suis débutant et tes comparaisons m'ont aidé à enfin faire un choix : BL2S et apres on verra ! Un grand merci ! Je m'abonne.
For the boys
You need to have a speed run of a full disassemble from all angles and a reassemble. Trust me, no one is doing that. I would, but i dont have time.
@johne8964 the reason I don't drive them is so I can disassemble them and sell the parts when I'm done with these videos. I can't afford to keep all these. If I drive them I can't sell the parts for as much and I would lose money. Right now I make a very small profit. Lmao as I was typing this I realized what you meant, speedrun disassembling these right? 🤣 Ya I don't think anyone has done that.
Nice, this is very much what I was thinking of making too.
Thank you! I had no idea how to fix a slipping mesh! I'll be on the road in the morning! 🤘
@anthonyadkins7487 awesome, I'm glad I was able to help.
thank you, i almost threw away the gasket !
@igorgoga7985 No problem. I'm glad I was able to help
I’m pretty sure the list is also missing part #1654
Hey Do you store them in the garage? I’m from Ny and it gets really hot here in summer.
@sultaanjatt9013 Yes, I store them in the garage. I'm in southern California it's about 100⁰ every day in the summer where I'm at and its even hotter in the garage. A lot of my batteries are over 3-4 years old and still good. They always get storage charged before they are put away.
So true!
