The reason for the ammo can in the first place is the fire associated with LI-POs. The fire expansion during the intial stages will follow the the path of least resistance, flowing up and then down the sides of the can where the seal is cut away. This could make picking it up to take it away from $$ stuff rather difficult. A better plan would be to drill a hole and place heavy metal screen over the hole. Place the hole away from the handles so you can get to them while it is burning.

May I ask why you dont want it to be sealed? Because I intend to store my jumpstarter in icebox (which is sealed) then put it to my car to isolate jumstarter with the car’s tenperture, what do you think?

Best bang for your buck is the ultimate if you were to buy the vxl and then turn it into an ultimate you would spend an extra 350 bucks i have both both are a blast i put low center of gravity on my vxl ultimat and dont look bavk you.will be getting the best

it's better to use a whole different remote. i use a futaba. your can really dail in the settings to make it handle like a kit car. also a shorty pack is a good way to save weight.

The heat melted the seal on mine so yes removing the seal is a good idea. I’m thinking a hole on the side with a metal box with a activated carbon filter would be nice to have to vent off the burning Lipo and it would clean the smoke as it burns out

I have an RC shell of a 2006 Tundra Stepside. I'm interested in using it as a shell for a Traxxas truck. The shell is 23", the width is 10" and it's wheelbase is 14.5". May I ask for a recommendation? Otherwise a different brand that may suit these dimensions?
