I upgraded the rear brace after a similar break long ago (and before finding this awesome channel), also using springs for the xmaxx. Everything is holding up well minus the occasional rear link issue these e revo 2.0's have. Great vid! Shows everyone how quick and simple that rear brace install is!
Love your Vids bro. Just got a erevo brushless. Love it but it seems a bit weak to wheelie. It has a Cush drive system. I run Traxxas Lopo 6s. It’s fast but near impossible to wheelie on high traction surfaces.
Yeh that coating they use in high performance shocks in moto, my bike, and off road racing shocks. I think fox calls it Kashima coating as it originated in Kashima Japan. It helps to reduce Stiction and protect aluminium etc just make the shock stroke smooth as butter.
Literally a few minutes before then I was driving it. I had the camera and everything set up before I drove it to my shop. I can't imagine leaving them plugged in for a couple of mins would do any harm

The color of the shock shaft comes from the TitaniumNitide coating. The shaft itself is not stronger but the surface is more scratch resistant.
Thanks. I assumed that's what it was but I wasn't sure.

Ha. I have a really big ramp that I'm going through do some awesome jumps with.
what shock oil weight do you use in your 2.0?
60wt in the rear and anything lighter or the same in the front for bashing.
well thats what i use in my Revo 2.0
Titanium coated I believe
Tape a flashlight to the top that's how I run mine at night
But I cant film it at night! I do have lights outside, but I cant get enough light to film.
