    I now own a set of these Halo Irons & Fairway Woods. They are fabulous. I love my 3 Wood particularly. I am female with very high handicap so I have the best help with my game. Loove them.

      Very creative, and extremely experimental. Did they change the swing weight on the clubs as well?

      I had a local Golf Fitter adjust the swing weight to standard. @@GolfDuff

    I have a set( 5- GW) of these possibly three models old. I liked them, even though I game single length irons 8- LW. You tend to get a draw flight which is great if you slice the ball. They tame the slice. For high handicappers, these can make sense as a long iron replacement and then blend in your cavity back irons above 33 degrees of loft. If I was starting again in golf I would be using the Cleveland Driver, Hywood hybrid, 7 wood and then some of these to GW. Then CBX2 wedges and a Frontline putter. Good value and helpful to sssist rapid improvement.

    I have two sets of hybrids., the Mayjek and Tour Edge JMax. I’ve gone back to using the JMax because my dispersions was all over the place with my Mayjek clubs. It helped but still looking at up grade. I have it narrowed done to three and at this time, the Cleveland Launcher XL Halo is at the top of my interest list

      I think I liked my D9 irons a bit more, because the head on the Halo irons felt to heavy for me. But it is a matter of getting fit for the right shaft as well. I really love hybrid irons though. Started playing with a set of Adams Idea hybrid irons back in the day. Really loved them.

    I just purchased these for around $70 a club. Im a mid HC player but have slow swing speed and have never loved iron play being a sweeper not a divot taker. At the price I got them I had to take the chance. I currently game Ping 425's so I expect a big difference at address & hopefully at contact

      @@GolfDuff Unfortunately I returned to my G425s in the end. I just could not adjust whatever needed adjusting to hit these consistently. Maybe the shafts are just too soft or something. I like the theory behind them but in real life I cannot figure out how to play them better than normal irons

    • @GolfDuff
      @GolfDuff  3 месяца назад

      That is the exact same feeling I had, like the heads were too heavy for the shafts or something. Theory is great, but it is paramount to get fitted to the right shaft in these.

    Try replacing the 6 iron with a regular 6 or 7 hybrid...you will crush the higher lofted traditional hybrids

      Would be great to play together, so if you are ever in Norway, let me know so we can go a few rounds together. That would be awesome! The irons are great, but I highly recommend doing a fitting. I didn't do that myself, and now I keep having second thoughts. But honestly, the XL Halo is very forgiving, and feels great. I don't like the T-rails that much, but I have only tried them indoors, and I felt they got stuck in the mat. But they seem to work for my friend Erlend. So go test them! Hybrid irons are great for us that struggle a little😉

    Appreciate the review, thanks! I'm a 19.5 handicap at the moment and my biggest miss is the chunky fat shot, wondering if these might help me out...

    • @GolfDuff
      @GolfDuff  Год назад +1

      They just might. These irons go through the turf like nothing I have ever tried. So the dreaded fat shot and duff could get better for you. Worth checking out. My issue with them is that the head feels very heavy, so I am not a super fan anymore actually... But in the recent months my swing has been really bad, so that might have hurt my confidence a little.

      @@GolfDuff It's funny, I like a heavier weight so it might be just the thing! I actually have a 4 iron coming in a trade and if it feels/looks good in my simulator I may pull the trigger on more! These things could be purple and orange and I would bag them if they helped my game, lol!

    Not that good?

    • @GolfDuff
      @GolfDuff  5 месяцев назад

      They are one of the most forgiving irons you can buy. But you should get fitted for them as the club head is much heavier than usual so what shaft you get is more important than on any other irons, in my opinion. I liked that the ball popped up in the air without effort, but getting the ball airborne has never been my issue. I usually get to high ball flight, and these made my ball fly straight up like a rocket. Not suitable for my swing.
