    That was a great creek fishing adventure for trout. Thanks for taking us along. I can't wait for the fall trout stocking in our city pond here in missouri. Be blessed. My friend.

      Thanks! The fall stocking will be fun! I hope you get a ton :) I would likely do stream or river fishing in Missouri! Are there any smallies and trout in those waters?

      Can't wait till the fall stocking here in NJ. I'm going to try my bfs tackle for the first time cause them trout are bigger and the upsize to 6lb floro will help land the big ones

    Great stuff Jimbo. Wet wading with BFS gear is one of my favorite activities. Lots of good rivers and creeks up here in northern NJ. Found a great stretch last week that produced almost a fish a cast. Be careful, some rivers are real ankle twisters.

    Sup jimmy, great video, nice to have that creek wide open, looks like one did year or two ago close to home?, some really nice trout, that bass was camera shy, said picture no way😂🤣, nice variety, brother took me fishing at our club Thursday, we stock 4 times a year, plus what state donated for kids day, we only had plastics, frogs and spinner baits, cought few bass, lost a few, but trout were going crazy over some big on water, and we had nothing to fish for them lol, went light because we're grilling burgers by pond. Well burgers were great 10oz med/rare lol, but new truck didn't have even our fly rods in yet, been working on it for therapy this year, can do like always now, just get tired, that creek is beautiful and looks clean, creek at bottom my hill is filthy, and overgrown, open spots are dangerous homeless camps, what would you do if a carp decided to bite🤷, that would be epic bro, tyvm tc 🎣

    • @rawrfishing
      @rawrfishing  Год назад +1

      thx! this is actually like 1.75 hours away from me going north of me and it's my first time there. googled a few spots while family was up north and went! we don't have these type of creeks down south nj. we got swamps, pine waters and tidal waters in the south lol. But I do go up north a few times a year for trout and probably west into PA for trout.
      sounds like a nice trip to the club! I need to make my way back to my friend's backyard lake lol. whenever fall kicks up, i'll be there so that I can enjoy the fun as usual! also winter if it doesn't freezes over lol!
      if a carp hit my lure tho, it would likely be spooled! i do have a spare roll of line in case that happens or if i did a horrible birds nest lol

      @@rawrfishing lol. That's a ride, but beautiful and looked clean, I remember you fishing in that creek pond by house or friends house for trout, that's connection made, It was towards winter also, like that creeks, rivers freeze last, one at bottom hill rarely freezes before or after waterfall/spillway, just overgrown now, I can't walk much, and open spots are homeless camps and a literal dump.. yes club is awesome, august had been good to brother and myself, last year he got pb bass 6lbs 10oz, and year before I got my PB 6lbs 13oz, huge for RI, well anywhere but especially RI, has been 7+, 8+ and even 9lbs 4oz that know of, beautiful, no pressure at all, can only Access 1/8th of pond from shore at most, but some take kayaks, canoe, tubes ect.. even a community canoe there, but has buoys where can't bring devices reachable from shore, to make fair, you'd love it, but members only, and immediate family limited, keep switch the content up bro, killing it👊

      Water in this creek was definitely cleaner than that stocked pond by my house lol. That's like always Muddy once spring starts! I don't have any friends with a trout stream or pond by their way unfortunately. Be cool to fish a private section of a river! I mean the river I waded up were pretty much private property all around. Plenty of signs saying private. Glad no one came out to harrasss me lol. I'd love to try your club one day

    I’m now tinkering with ideas of making similar baits but slightly heavier. Closer to 3 grams before they get wet. I’ve actually gotten pretty close already and if I can get tungsten dumbbell eyes I definitely will

    Very nice you have the creek to yourself. No pressure so the fish are willing to bite. Caught some nice trout. Are you walking through the creek with khakis and hiking shoes?

      @rawrfishing  Год назад +1

      OHHHH yeahhh!!! waded up like a long time and not one person fishing. but i did run into deers, ducks, dog walkers and a snake!
      I was wading in my fishing long pants. columbia pants. I changed out of it when i got to the vehicle. I had water sandals that protected the toes good! Can't be wading in the creek with toes exposed or weak front! I have done that before and wow... u can be busting toes open lol

    Really like your videos man I am looking for my first BFS bass combo for smallmouth I would like something to throw small hellgramites and spinners on. I’ve been looking into the Shimano zodias light 2pece paired with the Shimano SLXBFS. What would you recommend? That’s capable of throwing 5 g ?thanks man

    • @rawrfishing
      @rawrfishing  Год назад

      thx for the love mate!
      you will find that 5g lures are pretty easy to throw! Especially on your choice of rod/reel you have selected.
      You will also find that eventually, you will need several setups since BFS setups are very specific. There are no standards when it comes to BFS reels on the market. Some reels will work better than others for specific lure ranges. Spool size, weight, bearing sizes/material, line diameter choice, the amount of line spooled on, etc... a lot of stuff , but welcome to the club lol!
