Started throwing some ultralight stuff this spring. Been throwing a tiny 1/32 oz jig at some bluegill beds. Also just got a micro chatter bait to throw on spinning gear. My wife has already placed claim on it 😂
I really love the 1/16 Z-Man chatterbaits. Super unfortunate that they don't have bait keepers, I was really disappointed to see that. I fished the Donkey Tail Jr on them but I actually really liked the Muel Minnow 2.2.
Hey you need to try EXP soft frog it small its good for BFS hope you like because it many design BFS soft frog👍 i sure you will fallen in love with EXP SOFT FROG😍🤩
You should try to use the strike king bitsy minnow on bfs gear. By far my favorite micro crankbait for ultralight fishing and I'd be curious to see how it does on bfs gear.
Okie dokie. Again. Wondering where in MI you are. Watched the D & R video/ where I’ve shopped before. I’m in Quincy / about 1 hour from K’zoo. Just wonder where you are out of. Sister and bro/in-law in Hanover /Jackson area.
@@aaanglers you did responded in another video. I worked in Jackson for Aunt Millie Bakery. Sis and family in Hanover/Horton area. Pretty familiar with Jackson. Love the videos. Some videos… I wish you would get more to the point but always good. Hopefully hit the water with ya’ll some day.
Beards looking on point today my guy in fact it looks so good *goes to mule fishing to buy the hat and possiblely more soft plasticson accdents * it looks that good love the videos i jave some more tiny lures coing soon keep up the good work we all love ypu guys Ps. No fight or complaining about bfs vs spinning, or you have to buy us all a bfs and spinning combo so we can.... um compare them to make a more accurate assessment... I'm totally not angleing for a new bfs setup 👀
Slab HuntR's are bucketmouth magnets; I have yet to get a crappie on them 😂. Also check out Keitech 2" paddletails. I love em as beetlespin trailers on my UL setup.
That strike king worm is zman elaztech. They are produced by zman under a contract to strike king. You'll find some of the same zman baits under the strike king name now too.
Would there be any reason I can’t use these with an ultralight spinning combo? I’ve been looking for poppers because I’ve discovered are bluegill and rock bass destroy small topwater baits. Thanks!
I got my fist bfs rod and reel in today. Just to try things out I got the Zephyr and a Shamino Sencelight 7 foot Light. I can’t wait to get out on the water with it. I know that there are way better rods and reels on the market. I just went this way to see if I like bfs.
Besides BFE are there any other good Ultralight fishing websites? I haven’t found anything and searching for ultralight on Bass Pro or Tackle Warehouse is nearly impossible.
If i ever learn how to use a caster (just started fishing last year 36 years late... yeah im mad too.) Cause i only use spinning rods. I do look at some of these baits and lires for my UL rig.
In an odd twist, I use a dock runner and a dock demon. Short little travel rods, so these tiny baits cast really well but aren’t to big for the reels 😂
Can’t wait for you to teach the old man how to catch fish with this stuff! It’s a whole lot different than Walleye, Pike, Musky, and Panfish that I am used to.
I can’t believe you guys… fishing bfs stuff?! What’s wrong with you… lol jk! I love bfs and it’s a ton of fun, been doing it a while here in the saltwater bays of south Texas! Shimano Aldebaran is killing it on my 6’9” UL rod 4-6lb test 1/16-3-16oz ratings. Keep up the good work guys!
Don't you find that when you throw the micro stuff that all you catch is dinks? I have tried and tried in the past. And all I catch is dinks bass I'm talking about
nope, we have caught plenty of giants on BFS and ultralight. Just caught a absolute unit on my little lake with a megabass x-80 jr jerkbait the other day. They will absolutely hit the little stuff.
@@aaanglers What's your recommendation on a BFS bait caster? I don't need the cheapest one , but I also don't need the most expensive one any recommendations
Good Show.... Got quite a few of these....and others....Love them for crappies and walleye ect... You'll have fun !!
I'm loving this! Getting into BFS soon, and an excited to share my own BFS journey on my channel.
I just found out BFE is located locally near me, like 15 mins away but it's just a warehouse. Can't wait until they have a shoppable location!

I LOVE how you guys are obsessed with BFS! It's been my passion since I started angling! So much fun!!!!
🙌
That yellow frog looks awesome
I literally grabbed up 2 subscribers for you guy's at Knutsons over the weekend!! Can always catch a good conversation at the local bait shop.
Thanks brother 🤙🏼
Heck yes!

Have you ever tried Bait Finesse Empire .They are very good
Definitely

iv used it in the creek on my bfs set up work good if you go with better end reel would be good iv go cheaper reel
I have several spinning and bfs setups. Yea I’m a gear head and YES different rod and reel combos have specific applications that they excel at.

Really like the looks of the z-popper. I'll have to get a couple of those and give them a try. Thanks for the video. Enjoyed it.

Will do!
2.5" kamikaze swimmon is meant to be a crappie bait lol its a cool little bait I bought some last year and have them in my panfish box.

You absolutely can use them on a spinning combo! BFS is just a fun and different way to fish things like this.

Thanks for the shout out 🎉

Not many… but there are ultralight options from Mule Fishing and Nako on amazon
@@aaanglers Mule fishing is honestly the best. Idk how he makes them so durable but it’s super helpful.
Seen you guys Sunday at dnr sports

Can’t wait to get into bfs, could use some help on on a budget friendly combo if that’s possible in bfs
Kast king zephyr and shimano sensilite

Another great video! Really nice baits! Thanks for sharing! #AggressivelyAverageAnglers rocks!
🙌
What size/style hook would you recommend for the Tiemco critter wild frog ECO from Bait Finesse Empire?
A smaller 1/0 or 2/0. Maybe a gamakatsu g lock or ryugi hobbit hook
Those small baits are perfect for fishing a big creek or small river. I could smash some smallmouth on a river in Arkansas
For sure!
In an odd twist, I use a dock runner and a dock demon. Short little travel rods, so these tiny baits cast really well but aren’t to big for the reels 😂

It’s a blast though!
You snag one of his rods and come down to Texas and I will bring out out and show you how use BFS.
Just got my bfs in the mail, man its a BLAST throwing a 1/16oz crappie jig 150 ft!
BFS is fun. You can get bites when big baits are not producing.
The glow in the dark lures are definitely designed to catch anglers not fish. I know that, but I still buy them!
Most of this could be used for trout. I am definitely going to be checking out bfe.
You should try the zman shad fryz
I have them, and they are great!
If only they shipped to Australia
Kudos to you...only Alex Trabek could pronounce 'neesh' any better. Joking aside, gotta try a micro popper/dropper rig.

They need a micro whopper plopper
They have the 60. Might not function at a smaller size
@aaanglers yea but like a 2 incher.. just make the prop bigger a bit
Ultralight makes pressured waters so much fun. Makes those dinks feel like monsters 😂
It sure does!
