RIP to the PAC-8/10/12. Terrible for college football that Los Angeles and Piscataway, NJ now have teams in the same conference. The SEC has made some questionable additions, but at least it still has bordering states. It's the only conference left with any sort of coherence - we'll see how long that lasts.
Bama was ranked 3 at the time too. UCLA best no. 3 Michigan 2 games later too. Then teams realized almost every ucla pass was short so if you stop Foster, you’ll win and the team kinda fell apart.
After the missed field goal in the fourth, Bama got the ball back trailing by 11 with about two minutes to go. I know it would have taken a miracle, but it's not completely out of reach - quick touchdown, two point conversion, onside, one medium length completion, field goal. But they call runs and move at a pace like they're losing by 40 points. Clear example of how poorly coached and motivated this 2000 team was.
What happened Bama coach over worked his players then they flew across country in a 100% heat. And no school for ucla because it doesn’t start till October

GOOD HARD HITTING GAME!!! GO BRUINS!!!!
Deshaun was a monster
A relic from the bad old days. Good to see these again every once in a while and put things in perspective.
Coach Foster did his thing!!!! Show this to all the players and say unranked ranked and spanked BAMA.

@@kcebttocs also the special teams was great as well. UCLA was winning at all 3 phases.
Whose departure was felt more in 2000: Chris Samuels or Shaun Alexander?
Ahhhh the good ole Dubose years! Clap clap clap!!!
Back during the dark times 😒... how many coaches did we go through like 4 coaches before Coach Saban.
The floodgates are already open, college football might as well be NFL Jr.
Well said. Such a shame.
HOPEFULLY UCLA CAN PLAY ALABAMA AGAIN BUT NEXT TIME AT ALABAMA
Eh… ucla basically fell apart after this. Save for a few years when Jim Mora first took over, recruiting just fell off a cliff after Toledo was fired
UCLA played at Alabama the next 2001. And won again
This was such a huuuge letdown of a game. We were winning it all this season 😂
It begins in Pasadena and Ended in Pasadena with a Similarly results.

Boy this was the start of much frustration and a civil war @bama Dubose what a puece of work. Great d coordinator though
I gave you a like cuz I love your channel but I can’t bring myself to watch the losses 😫😆
Thank you. I appreciate the like despite this being a disappointing game.
You can tell they drank the koolaid in the offseason. They look so out of shape confronting Deshaun Foster.
