@@RichAveClothingwhat are you talking about? OU's defense consistently gave up 40-50 pts every week with Kyler Murray at QB. With Baker that defense gave up 30-60 pts with regularity.jalen was the only one where they might only give up 30-40 pts, tho they let LSU put up 70.
UCLA, after some early scuffles due to not having Dorian Thompson-Robinson at QB for the first time in a decade. has made some nice adjustments and look like they're going to close strong. Win a rivalry game, they should beat Cal, and then if they win their bowl game it's a 9 win season.

Big surprise for me. UCLA featured their tight end like they did last year. Best Bruins defensive effort in this game in a long time. He isn't likeable but Chip Kelly never fails to put points on the board against SC. Happy for Garbers. He's been a faithful back up at UCLA for years.
Yeah, I was surprised, too. When Chip Kelly first started at UCLA, tight ends were a big part of the game plan, but hardly saw them this year.
Kelly is an enigmatic man but he knows how to put together an offensive game plan with surprises and some plays just drawn up for a particular opponent. UCLA is avg. 41 pts a game against SC in the 6 yrs that he's been HC. On the other hand, he's lousy with the media and until this season, his defense coordinators have been a bust.
Ucla defense was ranked number 2 in the country a few weeks ago and still a top 10 defense there whole d line and line backer going to the league and there a tight end school they breed them there lol

He was better as a sophomore than he is as a junior. I think Defensive coordinators and players are picking up on predictable tendencies and habits of Williams. I also think Williams will be a bust in the nfl.

not sure why UCLA football is not bigger than it is? I live in SoCal and the games stadiums are empty. this is on the university for not properly promoting their team. UCLA has potential to build up their football program with Chip Kelly. but they need to support him like they do Deion out in Colorado or what theyre trying to do out in Texas A&M.. i enjoyed this season and they had so much potential.
UCLA football isn’t what it used to be. It was a train wreck from 2016 to 2019, and a lot of UCLA football fans probably lost interest at that time. Having a football stadium about an hour from campus also might not help very much.
UCLA had the largest attendance in the PAC-12 until like 2016. While USC is a historically better football program, UCLA has more fans. Put a few good seasons together and win a conference title, UCLA will again be among the best in attendance.

I'll continue to say it. Coach Orgeron was my pick to be the head coach of USC. Say what you will but LSU hasn't been the same since he left. Something about Coach O that got me fired up like I was getting ready to go out there and play. Lincoln Riley would be better suited as an offensive coordinator. Oh and for those that don't know Clay Helton was 11-3 in his second year as head coach with a PAC 12 championship and a rose bowl win under his belt. Just putting that out there.

Without Burrow LSU went 5-5 in a covid shortened 2020 season. It got worse in 2021. Despite high expectations and a favorable schedule, LSU stumbled to a 3-3 start in 2021, losing several games in which they were favored.
Ya when Orgeronwas interm head coach at SC they actually looked good they should have hired him.

Trojans have had weaknesses in the lines on both sides. It really showed in this game. The Bruin defensice front did a great job. They took away the run and pressured Caleb Williams. USC defense played better than they've played all season. Imagine how this could have gone if USC had a defensive coordinator.

What a freaking roller coaster ride with USC this year. It's been mainly down the past 6 weeks but man... what happened to them? It's only going to get worse
I understand the reasons the schools are moving to the Big 10, but it made me a bit sad to think this is the last west-coast/Pac-12 conference matchup between these two iconic programs.
They're both going to the BIG 10, and will play each other every year in a guaranteed rivalry match up. Sucks the PAC is essentially dissolved after this year. You can thank USC for being the first to jump ship for that. And the inept leadership of the conference for screwing everything up in every possible way they could year after year.
Most were glad that Riley took his defensive coordinator with him to USC. Grinch did absolutely nothing while here in Norman -and- please don't believe all the media hype about when Riley left OU.
