Just a tad confused here. I have the MasterBuilt Gravity 1050. I also have the MasterBuilt rotisserie Gravity Series. Which Ribolator do I need please? Thank you. Nice yard BTW!
Hi from the uk, i have just brought a 1050 is the rid o lator better than say the 3-2-1 method, is it worth buying....really love all your videos buddy, thank you
Alex, sorry for the late reply. Yes/No - have you cooked your ribs without foil/butcher paper? If so, then you may like the rib-o-lator. I love it but I have had it for years using it on Weber WSM and Kettle> So, is it worth it on the 1050 - yes if you have it, yes if you like to try new things and have another grill to use it on, no if this is the only grill and you prefer wrapping more so.
First I wanted to say that I enjoy your videos. I wanted to ask you about adding a rotisserie. I have one that we have never used that came with our Jenn-Air gas grill. I got it out of storage and found all the parts. It’s long enough to work on my 1050 but I need the brackets. Can I purchase the bracket on the inside somewhere? I need that first to then play with the length and how to mount the motor on the outside. I’m going to look at takeinf the bracket off my gas grill and see if I can make it work on the 1050. Thank you!!
Just found your channel as it relates to the 1050 model I have on order. Do find that the rotisserie is an advantage to cook ribs versus just laying them on the grates? Thanks
Conrad - I love the rib o lator but I have a number of other grills that its predominantly used on and produces a better/different finished product. With that on the 1050 I can’t say there is much of a difference in finished product.
Thanks for the demo I’m trying to set my 1050 the same way . Unfortunately the grill one rotisserie is out of stock.any other suggestions. Thanks for any advice,Ken from Wisconsin
Just got my Rib -O-Lator today and it don't fit in my 1050 Masterbuilt it rubs on the backside. I do have the factory rotisserie so i need to do some modification to it to get it to work right
Which rib-o-lator did you get, standard or adjustable? I have both factory and modified 1050 rotisserie and it is a tight squeeze on the back side but runs without hitting.
I saw a picture of one setup using factory rotisserie and it looked very close! I suspect that my "custom" rotisserie install is off just enough that it gives me plenty of coverage. is it rubbing all the way down or just one corner?
Yeah it rubs all the way down. Wasn’t an issue until I put ribs that were a little wider than the rack. It’s an inconvenience but I like the rib o later so much that I’ll just deal with it.
I got the 560. I just subscribed to this. Love the few videos so far. I just got the rotisserie today. Want those rib trays! Rib o later
Just subscribed after watching your firebox mod vid. Just got my 560 yesterday, can't wait to cook on it. I got mine from Walmart for $155 lol
Thanks for the sub! Crazy price point! Nice find.

Both the standard size or the expandable one will work.

Never mind. I just saw your link and will order the bracket kit. Thanks!!!
Good luck man! Reusing old gear is the best way to save $$.
Do you know if the rib rack has enough room on the 560 to turn without hitting the lid?
I believe it will but I do not have any personal experience with trying it.

Ken, Rib-O-Lator should work with factory MB rotisserie now that it is out. I should be able to test one in the next week or so!

@@TXSHeat i got the standard size one. I did a little cut to where the spit rod goes through the wall and it work great and i love it
Will this work on the 560?
The tray is 17" long so it should be fine
Can you roast corn in it
Yes, but I cheat and put butter, seasoning on the corn and wrap in foil!
Does anybody else is rid-a-later rub
the back wall of the 1050 grill?
