- The Perfect Steak On The Masterbuilt 1050 | Kosmos Q...We can't get enough of the masterbuilt 1050 or the Masterbuilt 560 so you might as well get used to this kind of material coming from us. The only thing better than a quality smoker is some quality meat and we managed to chip a few beautiful ribeye steaks out of the fridge at the house so they could become the stars of this video. A lot of people overcook their steaks trying to pull off the perfect grill marks. I'm proud to introduce to you my secret weapon, The Grill Grate. These aluminum beauties will be a game-changer for your steak sear! Give the video a watch and you'll see what I mean!
Recipe:
Two Prime Ribeye Steaks
Kosmos Q Texas Beef
Kosmos Q SPG
Butter
Aluminum Foil
Step 1 - Light your smoker and set the temperature to 250 Degrees F
Step 2 - Season your steaks and let them sit at room temperature until your grill reaches the appropriate temperature.
Step 3 - Put your steaks on the grill and cook them until they reach an internal temperature of 100 Degrees F.
Step 4 - Pull your steaks off of the grill and place them in a pan while your grill heats up to searing temperature. We like 700 Degrees Fahrenheit.
Step 5 - Sear each side of your steaks for 1:30 (rotate them every 45 seconds to drive in the perfect grill marks!)
Step 6 - Throw your steaks in some heavy-duty foil and let them rest for 15 minutes.
Step 7 - Cut them in half and see how you did!

I reverse seared two T-Bone steaks this evening using the method described in this video and I must say they were cooked to perfection, a perfect medium/medium rare and tasted fantastic ... the grill grates delivered perfect sear marks ... thanks for sharing !!!
I cooked a couple of bone in ribeye sat using a slow and seared with my weber kettle. I've been grilling for 30 years haven't cooked a great steak until I started watching you thanks for sharing your knowledge

It is hit or miss here in Pauls Valley, OK but I have found pork butts, loin (I cut them into chops) and ribs at Walmart. We have a new butcher shop in town that has been keeping some good stuff on hand as well. Great video! Looking forward to visiting the store in the future!
Another amazing steak out! I am continually blown away by not only the food, but the unreal presentation. The work on both sides of the camera truly sets this channel apart. Killin' it! I brought my Akorn into work yesterday and cut up some London Broils made steaks out of them. everyone was happy. I used Kosmo's SPG AND Angry Bird. turned out great.

I just got home from being stuck in hospital/board and care facility for four months and I had bought some shakers from you're online shop, cooked a ribeye on my Weber kettle grill. Used Cow Cover hot and Texas beef for my seasoning. It was delicious. Thanks for such a great product!

We buy local for chicken pork and beef. It supports the local guy and he sees a bigger piece of the action. Plus I can even pick out the hog or Cow if I want too. We do buy from local store who also carries local as well as commercially from around the nation. But only from known suppliers not importing unless waygu. but I can not afford that lol. We also have a good supply of seafood and fresh fish from local. And sometimes my wife finds decent deals at grocery store like wal or tar. Here lately as we cruise by the meat it is sparce at times. And we think... thank goodness for the local suppliers. Happy Smoking and Grilling days ahead.

Best place for anything meat and cheese in the region. You can find their sausages and cheeses at Walmart and others stores throughout the region.

I went about 3 weeks without any Pork Butt or Brisket. I just shop Walmart or Aldi for my meats. I'm up in Pennsylvania near Pittsburgh and am loving the channel. Just started smoking and BBQing! Amarillo Texas Sams and Untied are stocked to the brim with meat here. Definitely no shortage of meat here cooked some pork belly burnt ends a couple days ago yummmmm was it good

Costco has been pretty constant with keeping the Prime ribeyes in stock. Also I found some kick ass prime 60 day dry aged tomahawks at the local wegmans.

Not gonna say where I am other than northeast. We got 3 cows in the field. Freezer full of venison. Chickens and pork all waiting there turn. Now its fishing season so stockin up on walleye trout and salmon. We dont need stores where I'm at. That being said the local butchers and restaurants are having a tough time with their orders.
Lot of people switching to lamb as a beef substitute right now.

I like on the Illinois side of the Mississippi across from St.louis MO. And we love a thick cut pork steak ! I'm able to get everything right now. Ground beef is low. They are limiting customer to 2 packages. Besides that things are good here.

Still got briskets and steaks over here in Texas but it’s getting expensive especially prime off course seen a prime at sams for 91 dollars 17 lbs . I got me some lamb racks gonna give those a try on the pit barrell .
