Chapter four of "The Revelstoke Diaries" features Bill Pollock, who remains a keen outdoorsman at 84 years young.
He moved to Revelstoke from Quebec with his wife Diane in 2015 to be closer to his children and grandchildren, who decided to move out west.
Bill embraces mountain life playing an active roll in the local community - founding the Revelstoke Paddlesport Association in 2017 - he also regularly enjoys nordic skiing and curling.
Bill embodies the true spirit of the mountains, with a strong belief that education isn't just what you learn in the classroom; but leading an active lifestyle and learning from the natural environment is equally important.
In the intro and outro of Bill's episode, he reads verses from a poem he wrote about his passion for paddlesport, which is also engraved on the face of his personal paddle blade.
When we grow up, we want to be just like Bill.
