What a great showcase of your area. My daughter and her partner are visiting for a few days as I type this - summer and bikes. They're on working visas from New Zealand and getting to see some pretty spots. I'd love to visit, restaurants look good!

I too worked for CP Rail out of Nelson back in 1976. Scheduled trains with the main track speed of 30 MPH. Once took the Slocan wayfreight from Nelson to Roseberry BC via the "Iris"’ tug. Transferred to the Revelstoke sub on a change of card in the Spring of 1978. Quite an eye opener as from 12 to 20 trains in 24 hours and the track speed was 50 MPH! As well I come from a long line of railroad family. Great video!

Four years ago I visited this small and very cute town.......and I felt in love with the place, the community, the respect and hospitality of the Canadians. The mountains, the streets...the whole experience of simple and meaningful life...Revelstoke became my spiritual place in this world. Please keep Revelstoke as is. Cheers and Aloha to all my friends at Revi. I really missed this year due to the traveling ban....
