I too worked for CP Rail out of Nelson back in 1976. Scheduled trains with the main track speed of 30 MPH. Once took the Slocan wayfreight from Nelson to Roseberry BC via the "Iris"’ tug. Transferred to the Revelstoke sub on a change of card in the Spring of 1978. Quite an eye opener as from 12 to 20 trains in 24 hours and the track speed was 50 MPH! As well I come from a long line of railroad family. Great video!
