This movie has everything: winter camping, canoeing, mega shredding, sweet music, unbelievable cinematography, male nudity, Sinixt woman laying down serious wisdom, museum lady with big knowledge, sausages grilling, canoes, campfires, ice, snow-I love it. Love it! Good job, lads.
Yooooo boys. Thank you so much for acknowledging the land we are on. And then some. Marilyn James?! YES. This is the first snowboard (/canoe i guess?) video I've seen with an indigenous elder, plus going above and beyond to explain who's land this is and the history of it, which has been buried by the government for decades. You guys shoulda stopped by the blockade at 120km north of town, you were probably so close! If anyone is looking for more info on the Sinixt, please look up the book "Swift River" by Laura Stovel. Again, thanks so much! This was a treat!
I really enjoyed this but had a real sense of watching people bite off more than they could chew. Eg "We had all the radios in one canoe". In the middle of nowhere in fog and snow?! Glad you all made it back!
This is amazing. Having a sense of place and respecting the history of those who originally inhabited that land is something that makes you a better human. Thanks for sharing your crazy adventure as well as educating us. Badass shredding and solid storytelling. Wonderful edit. 🤟🤘🏼🤟🤟🤟🏿
shedbots, I offered you 5 or 6 different movie titles on your instagram direct msgs about a month ago and have received no response. These were pretty good titles and should be looked at indeed!
Amazing documentary. Expressing the freedom of having fun and exploring. Love to hear such beautiful truth spoken on behalf of the Sinixt people. We all really need to stand up for such tragedies and preserve our rights and freedoms amongst this planet. We are all children of mother Sofia. SHREDBOTS WITH THE MESSAGE! 🗣🙏🏼
Reminds me of my younger years as a snowboarder. Great job on reflecting the culture of snowboarding, the peoples who came first and Mother Earth. Truly a pleasure to watch and yes you boys are savages!
I AM CONSTANTLY AMAZED AT WHAT THE HUMAN SPIRIT CAN & WILL ENDURE ON IT'S CONSTANT QUEST FOR THOSE FEW MOMENTS OF FREEDOM & WONDERMENT IN THIS BEAUTIFUL & UNFORGIVING WORLD WE LIVE IN. WELL DONE BOYS!
Heavy Vibes. Seriously amazing. Powerful and full of meaning. Preserve our beloved mother earth. Cherish the raw nature that is still left in this world before it is no more.
Such a pleasure to watch informative, excellent snowboarding, the trials & tribulations of how you found you campsites. Simply breathtaking scenery. So different from the usual guys hooning around and hucking themselves off jumps. Loved every minute of it.
Wow, I enjoyed every minute of this. I couldn't help but feel that these guys really took some life and death risks to do something extraordinary. I'm impressed and inspired.
Great film. Getting outta one’s comfort zone is something everyone needs to do more often. Kudos for everyone here taking it to the next level. I’d admire to do something like this one day.
Great video Love the history Washington Columbia is beautiful from the ocean to lake Roosevelt I’d love to explore further north thanks for the inspiration
Damn. Pretty stunning little film. Such beauty mixed with the potential for nasty consequences. So much awe it's a little sickening to watch. Can't imagine how different a trip it would be if there were no dams there at all. Well done.
Just spoke to some of you at Meziadin Junction out on adventure #2 today! Hope y'all made it up those icy roads in the snow. You guys looked fiercely determined and I love your energy. Looking forward to seeing the next film!
Amazing area, only camped out there in the summer, you guys are bold! Fucking weather was not kind to you at all! If your that positive through the shit I cant wait to see a sunny trip lol. Great work here guys thanks so much for sharing.
Beautiful. Feeling a little guilty enjoying something like this given what's going on today around the world, but it's a good reminder to wake up and connect with what you have, while you can.
I really enjoyed this video and the amount of getting after it that was involved. The risk though....had a canoe capsized in the middle of the lake....that doesn't seem survivable?
“Moral of the story - don’t get up early and try hard” 22:27 😂 Absolutely loved the concept of this film, and adding to the mix the history of the land was really awesome. Looks like it was an epic trip, despite the challenges
I dont understand how some really bad videos get 2, 4, 5 million views.. and a video this grand gets like a few hundred thousand views.. shows how low are mind set as a species has become.. Great fucken video guys..
