There is a farm in Georgia that practices regenerative agriculture called White Oaks Farm and Dr. Mark Hyman in his news letter talks about Force of Nature grass fed/grass finished beef as a reliable source.

Dr. I love how you’re helping people improve their lives and nutrition. 🙏🏻Your homocysteine is high. You’re definitely iron loading and vitamin c (your fruit) is going to contribute to this even more - dangerous duo. I love animal based, but I do not feel it’s natural to have access to this much red meat at all times and many carnivores are struggling with iron overload. Is a proper diet one that requires you to give blood constantly? The body is trying to give you signals. Appreciate you! Be well!!

Well said. It is not natural to have to give blood. If you have a gene disorder then so be it but it is not natural to have to give blood just to maintain correct iron levels in the body. Something here is off whether it is Paul's diet causing this or a gene disorder (hemachromotisis) or possibly something wrong in the body such as a heavy metal toxic issue causing this downstream....either way we need to dig further on this

Since we don't menstruate, men are at higher risk of this. Especially if they took any iron supplements, multi's or ate fortified foods, which are most packaged foods in the west. Long covid also causes excess iron accumulation. Diet alone is unlikely to do this.

You mentioned that you experienced a delayed puberty. Check this out Paul.
In one study, hypogonadism was present in 65% of men with β-thalassemia, while hypothyroidism was only present in 4% [8]. Furthermore, male children with β-thalassemia will often fail to enter puberty unless the iron is chelated [9, 10].
I find it ironic (wow no pun intended there lol) that quite possibly you had iron overload and this iron overload was corrected by phlebotomy and you also mentioned that you had delayed puberty. The odds are leaning towards a possibility that you could have this genetic trait.
What do you think Paul? I have been following you for years and this that we are stumbling on about iron overload and SHBG thanks to Elliot Overton has my mind blown. This is groundbreaking. I hope you have a follow up video to this topic.

If you follow Dr. Gundry because of mercury content in larger fish he recommends smaller fish like sardines, anchovies and mackerel. I also buy my Anchovies in water as recommended by Dr. Gundry. He feels even with olive oil or extra virgin you still don’t know the quality of the oil. If you have a Whole Foods nearby you can pick up a can just to try it. Amazon also sells it also. Paul, I have hemochromatosis. many consider me an expert in iron related, i dont think that much of myself, I dont like pinning T cypionate because of polycythemia (had 2 strokes), enclomiphene citrate brought my T from 180 to 300ng, keep in mind land mark is 530ng, FSH and LH still good of EC, balls plush, but SHBG has grown a mind of its own
i was taking 10mg of boron, supposedly highly absorbable, and as you cite, boron has other applications from bone density to AV and SA node firing at the heart,
    it did NOT reduce shbg,
in the past estradiol E2 would rise together with shgb when pinning t cyp, i would knock it down with anastrazole/arimidex and they would rise and fall together.................now at age 60 a different story E2 at 19.6 (sweet) SHBG at 48 not sweet needs to be 25 and ill probably pick up another 100ng of Total T and an increase in free T if i can get the shbg back in line....
my iron targets for heterozygous hereditary hemochromatosis:
    Iron 100
    Saturation 25 (currently 39
    Ferritin 50-75 (currently at 150)
what is interesting when i give blood phleb, the sat goes down on the iron panel
you stated about ferritin levels and related iron stores....i developed a protocol .... i hope this helps someone, the protocol certainly will, i call it "Shutting the Door" as follows:
keep in mind, exogenous T like t cypionate etc, is an antagonist to hepcidin the master control hormone of iron in the liver, vitamin c is an adaptogen - it increases stores or mobilizes depending on the individuals state........
i would stop injecting T, boost vit C to a gram a day, regular buffered C not plant based, i would give blood phleb at iron serum 150, it knocks down to 100 wait a few days test, 150, bleed, test, bleed, test bleed.....the stores were dumping and being mobilized by the vit C, now at about round 3 or 4, the iron serum no longer rises.........
this is where you want it to be, then i down dose the vit C, start back on the T cyp and reset..... i would do this one or twice a year.....
The question i have for you, the SHBG when you give blood it is still holding to its ratio over volume, WHAT IS THE MECHANISM WITHIN THE PHLEBOTOMY THAT REDUCES THE SHBG?
as mentioned being on EC the E2 is sweet im concerned about tanking it if i phleb.
ill test, pull off 600ml, wait a few days, the adjustments to overall body affect seems to be 48-72 hours after the phleb.......ill test again and post before and after....you were put in my path today for a reason, best to you. thanks for doing the heavy lifting....peace

SHBG binds your testosterone. So if you have high SHBG it will make you low T and one of the symptoms of low T is hair loss.
