Not a lot of people know this but since the coyote engine in the Boss has ported heads, different intake and a couple of other things, the code name for that motor is..... Drum roll, The Roadrunner. Ford couldn’t market it like that but look it up very interesting motor.

I too have one. A 2013 La Guna Seca in the "School Bus Chrome". Having driven the original way back in the 70's and this one, I would have to say this one is every bit as fast as the original. I 'll drive this one until I cant drive anymore.

Had a 12 Boss and LOVED it! I also put the Corsa Extreme's on and they sounded so great, especially with the track key. If you haven't, I'd highly recommend getting your Boss to a road course/track so you can really enjoy it. Great that you can drive it to the track, adjust the dampers, run it, then set them back for "normal" driving. I own an 08 GT500 now, but still miss the Boss. Most balanced of the S197 era for sure. Enjoy her!!

Going to watgins Glen tomorrow! Taking my 15 year old boy to see the race. An hour and a half drive in my 2012 race red boss 302. I have not regretted my purchase at all. It is an incredible experience that tingles your senses with rhythm and rhyme translating into motion. Beethoven, Mozart! I knew these roads looked familiar. Far better than where I live now, terrible traffic light engineers, nose to nose traffic and bad drivers. One thing I miss about orange county is the backroads, better drivers, and blue chip burger sad they closed down.
Stang and Eggs oh man you know it. These back roads are the best even for a mustang haha. Blue chip burger was the best. I was a regular and when I went on the last day my meal was on them.

The guy at minute mark 6:50 crossing the road, he is solely focused on his mailbox and not even aware that a grabber blue Boss 302 is upon him. These are the types of people that get eaten alive by tiger sharks at sea. Or maybe living life in the Matrix, oblivious. No situational awareness either. I mean how could you not notice a blue Boss 302 coming at you? My mind is simply engineered differently. I don't get people who have no appreciation of cars and especially those that are rolling artwork like the Boss 302. Maybe I am being a bit too harsh on the guy and maybe he was focused on a tax bill arriving, who knows? But still. Come on!

How do you like the corsa extremes? I have the gt500 axel backs on my boss but get alil drone and are only a bit louder than stock but way more quiet than my buddy's boss with the Roush exhaust
kev gray I love the Cora’s extremes. No drone and on highways speeds it’s really quiet until you wake them up haha. The Roush are made with cheaper material so the drone is loud and obnoxious. The Corsa and Borla are high priced but imo they the best. Corsa’s sound great, no drone I’ll pay for that.
@@DiruKev Have you removed the side dump exhaust restrictors yet? I'm running the GT500 axle backs myself and I've also replaced the restrictors with electric cutouts. Let me tell you, those make a world of difference when they're open vs closed, and they come almost completely closed off from the factory.

Had a 12 Boss and LOVED it! I also put the Corsa Extreme's on and they sounded so great, especially with the track key.
