Great video per usual and very great informative perspective. I just hope what happened to me with the shiny Raikou that got away ? Doesn’t happen again.
Although, I’ll hunt one or two more Entei’s. But I’m just prepping for my doggy boy Suicune now. That’s my personal favorite
How did you lose a shiny Raikou?
@@Bropenings my Whale account kept crashing every time I tried to give it a biscuit. Literally. So after countless attempts of restarting the device, clearing cache etc ?
I was forced to just end the research, and live in despair

Entei biscuits and that MAIN SKILL SEED!!
Biscuits and incenses aside, definitely grabbing the Main Skill Seed and the Fire Stone. I don't mind foregoing the candies if it comes to that, they're nice but it really doesn't hurt over time. Also already have a ton of excess Dream Clusters, I think the more pressing matter for those is having the bag space lol.
Also curious if using a Raikou incense would be worth here... The mane payoff is high but the chance to catch Raikou without a Master Biscuit is very low and getting it to spawn naturally is extremely rare to finish off its friendship points.
Interested in seeing how they have increased Community Research mane drop rates, hopefully lower friendship levels aren't abyssmally low anymore. Half of my friend list was inactive during the Raikou event and I have replaced them since, most have reached level 3 and some are on the way to level 4, hoping for much better results this time.
A note:
Fire Pokémon will have a minimum of 7 Entei manes per spawn.
You can use other fire Pokémon incenses to force extra fire Pokémon spawns, but not on the same sleep session as Entei incenses.
So plan to use other fire Pokémon incenses early in the week, as late in the week you’d be aiming for ⭐️⭐️ or ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Entei, as these will produce more manes than ⭐️ Entei.
Also gives you more time to save up for more entei biscuits. But don't wait too long, there are 10 entei incenses to get and only 14 days to use them.

Estimating minimum Entei spawn manes, incense manes, and mission manes, I have estimated needing 168 manes per day from spawns and friends in order to hit my store goals.

Oh! We may need Skill Trigger M, helping bonus and helping speed and Sassy nature for a good Entire. Also the problems with players not playing the game or not sending fire type research at event time cause a bit of problem. So yes it's going to be tough to play if one is a new player.

main skill seed is probably the best thing for casual players. Stack them on a high speed, high trigger rate pokemon with Charge Strength M, preferably with Skill Level Up M so you save 2 seeds and also BFS for a totally OP pokemon, and just have it hard carry the whole team
this is literally my typhlosion lol. Bfs 10 skill level s and m at 25 50 soh+
Free level 6 skill at level 50 and I'm only 5% ab on taupe so I still have a while to go. Definitely going to be a carry.
During the raikou event, my raikous got full from 2-3 biscuits. I spent more manes getting incense and biscuits than I'd plan to.
Those enti candies would make sense to get a lot of them. For the next time it come around

9:00 about the versatility biscuit issue, I thought after a recent update after raiku event all the same pokemon share the same heart. For example i feed 1 pikachu a biscuit it gain 1 heart the other pikachu that spawn also get 1 heart, I feed a great both pikachu will gain 3. If i filled up 1 pikachu, the other pikachu heart will be reverted back to zero.
I'm not sure there was ever such an update? It's always been like that, the way you described feeding.
For new players (started at end of comfey), is it worth evolving somewhat mediocre fire types to stage 2 for entei if that’s all we’ve gotten? Or just leave stage 1 until something better comes along?
Without specifically looking at your stats I can't say for sure. But generally speaking, it would be wise to have at least a mid cynda or vulpix for entei event.
@@Bropenings thanks bud. I’ll probably keep them unevolved and just use them for the event. It’s a lot of resources at this point for not a lot of gain. I’ll at least use them to start the week but will likely have to swap to ingredients. I tend to run out quickly.
One issue with the legendary spawns is that I believe you can only see one at a time. So if you use an Entei incense you lose the chance to encounter it normally. It’s basically a lose-lose situation, whether you use incense early or late in the week.
Can you point me to data that showed this?
Not true, I encountered 2 in one session last time with Raikou

@@Bropenings There’s no way for me to prove it really, just a strong suspicion. I never saw a screenshot with 2 raikou for the entire event despite being in multiple communities for the game with active high level players.
I figured at the very least it would be posted on Reddit and shared around if someone got two raikou, but never saw that either
I saw 1 wild raikou, Master 13, week two Tuesday, then never again for the rets of the week

I'm going to time travel to cook a huge Sunday dinner for the start of the event. When should I use my GCT? Right after I do the time travel before I cook?

You asked about our priorities, so mine is going to be the Fire Stone. I know, I know; it's because I foolishly used my reward one on an Arcanine evolution earlier on. Beyond that, I'm keen to follow your discussed priority list, although I doubt I'll be able to catch so many Entei that I'll get to buy all 10 of the Entei incenses. I'm FTP, but I'll have enough diamonds to buy a small bundle. The real prize is that Main Skill Seed.

It may have some benefits but there are fire spawns during entei event anyway
And pokemon can spawn outside their normal sleep styles

If I only have one Good Camp Ticket, which week should I activate it for?
No hard advice here. Use 2nd week to stack with greater boosts but you'll be delaying earning manes and obtaining more entei incense and biscuits early.
Use 1st week and you have the option to buy another GCT for 2nd week with 500 diamonds (or via bundle M) in case you feel your progession isn't fast enough.

Yes good point! But it was worth more during raikou's event... so depends on how you look at it.
Also considering there are potentially 10 entei incenses and only 14 days to use them, I'm not sure there are many spots left to run other pokemon incenses.
