Thanks. I try this team. Looks fun. First enemy was ape dewgong bastiodon haha. Was hart for me but still had a chance of winning. I think against ape lead it is important to stay in and break shields in case they have basti in the back so you can throw aqua tail
Tropius double-resists grass. There’s no typing that’s “immune” to grass, so no Pokémon can triple-resist it. :) The immunities I can think of are ghost/normal vs each other, flying vs ground, fairy vs dragon, ground vs electric, steel vs poison, dark vs psychic… Am I forgetting any one? 🤪
Great battles from a great trainer! I was wondering if you could elaborate on what you think the differences in skill are between Legend players like yourself (from the video looks like ~3200 rating) and people at the top of the ladder (~3700 rating). What makes them stand out even from other Legend ranked players that allow to have about 700 rating higher?
Also interested to know. Axn briefly covered the break points v Gligar and Licki in his C'day video (I believe the required att stats were 119.6 and 122 respectively), but they do mean sacrificing some bulk, particularly for the Licki BP. They're both obviously very common picks, particularly in s6p3, but I find it hard to sacrifice overall stat product...
Oh thanks, I haven’t seen that video! I did manage to find one from Yasser where he did a deep dive into the IVs. I guess like a lot of these situations, it will depend on the meta, the team & how you want to use it. Cue me saving a lot of different stat weights & never knowing which one to use 😂
Great question! I haven't looked into it myself but I just run a high ran one. I personally prefer more bulk on my Pokemon just because it gives me a bit more room for error versus all matchups rather than just extra damage vs just a few
Good gameplay... why would you use shadow sableye instead of the purified with return though? Isn't that better for coverage. Also, would you say a non-purified non-shadow sableye is worth building? I dont have either, and I dont know when its going to come back to rocket grunts
He is using the shadow because he already has a purified. Yes prioritize the purified but once you have one n, you can totally splurge on a shadow just to gave it. I did my purified last year and I'm already up to 255 xls for either my Shadow or my hundo.
In this current meta, Shadow Sableye is quite nice since Umbreon isn't as common and Power Gem still covers Mandibuzz quite well. There aren't as many fairy types outside of Wigglytuff but you lose that matchup with the purified either way. Shadow Sableye is much better vs Lickitung and Shadow Gligar. If you land one Foul Play on Gligar, you can shadow claw it down. But like omar said, I'd prioritize making the purified first since it's a staple pick and a bit cheaper to make. Having both is nice if you have the resources :)
Good question! Personally, I don't know VGC as well as GO so it'll be quite a learning process before I do that haha. I do love how complex and nuanced VGC is though! Major props to anyone who plays the main series games!
The karma is real.
Great idea and title for the new series! Simplicity is key to everything. Much success with it.
The timing of the video now that the Comm Day Move got announced is amazing

Ghost is immune to fighting
@@chaowu5139Yep, just realized I forgot that one and was about to edit. 😁
Ah gotcha! Thank you :)
@@PetterNe no worries!
GoDra such a noble Pokémon

I am still playing this but right now I see sooo many bastiodon. I would switch out madibuzz but haven't found a good change.
Do you have a bulk weight or attack weight on Goodra? I’ve seen some comments about attack weighted Goodra

Thanks for the reply - great reasoning, I definitely appreciate the need for more room for error!

Have you ever thought about wifi battles on either Pokémon Scarlet or Violet ?

Goodra is Badra
XD
Look at my story that's wild
I'm running Muddy Waters for the attack buff
Oh look! He's using Mandibuzz again! Shocker!
🤣
