The hosts have a lot of work to do to add/remove friends. They're working much harder than players joining them. Some hosts I can't vouch for, they may be more elitist, but the ones in my discord are nice so far, and players have been respectful when joining too.

Yes that should be right. As you heard from the video, we are constantly refining our understanding of wonder pick. But based on current understanding there's a 90% chance the pack wouldn't be able to show up on anyone's account at all. Whether it will definitely show up as the first wonder pick or not - this needs to be verified by Newbie. You can ping Newbie on my discord to get them to check if you have such a pack.

More hosts are being added by Newbie. And you do have to keep trying indeed. These are very popular packs after all. My discord also has the original method of directly finding hosts. There are several live god packs currently.

@marcgomez8391 yes of course. That's the original method. Just do it yourself. However as I explained in the last 4 videos leading up to this point, there is a "dead rate" meaning 2* packs won't even have a chance to show on your main 90% of the time even if you manage to roll it on your alt accounts.

The only parts not guaranteed to work: 1 if you can't make it through the friend list. When more hosts get added (Newbie is working hard daily to add more) there will be more opportunities. 2 if the pack expires after 3 days

The thing about the IRL friends - I agree. I also didn't want to remove them, but the moment I explained what I had to do for research (and subsequently they all joined in getting god packs too) it was all good. It's ultimately up to you of course.

Theoretically it should work with 3 and you only play around with the 4th slot. However as you can imagine testing on this is limited. Most want to add 4 hosts at a time and make all 4 friend slots available. One of the reasons is even if you manage to request friend, they may not immediately accept. You might want to add several hosts at a time to maximize your chances.

@@Bropenings If the host doesn't accept the friend list does it still occupy the slot and give you nothing? Couldn't you just add all the hosts and wait for one to accept to fill the slot?

@TheCackling yes but getting on the waitlist is the difficult part. You don't know if maybe the host is asleep or away etc. The original method you can interact with the host and they can let you know they're away so you don't waste time trying to spam friend request.

Unfortunately you'll have to delete those friends (as harsh as it may be, but if they also knew how to do this method they'd probably agree). It *could* work but there is a higher risk of failure and you make the host wait for you longer.

@RvnFromJubilife some hosts might be more lenient and as this method becomes more widespread, there can be a growing base of hosts. As a result, it may be less and less required to have 0-4 friends (and cleared cool down). But for now, it's highly recommended.

So, you do get a bigger discount with larger bundles (as you called it "good business") with regular gold. The trick is that the event bundles have limited purchases in comparison, and are all cheaper than the regular gold shop. It feels like no matter which you buy, you're still winning. So then the only question is how much volume you want to buy. They don't want to give you a huge volume of gold with the biggest discount. In addition, this is the same tactic as was used in their previous game Pokemon Masters in "tiered scouts", where things cost increasingly more the more you spend. The other way to think about it is that the smallest bundle acts as a gateway to larger bundles.

Not to mention limited time means you will feel you have missed out on even the 5% off (even though it isn't much) then during non-event periods you'd feel like you're over-paying when you pay full price.

Yeah there's been a few - you have to check the discord. The original intention was for anything 2 star or rarer, but because of Darkguest it seems everyone just wants god pack now. The expectations have been raised a lot.

Demand and supply issue. As the hype dies down, and people learn better methods to pull god packs from pack openings, this will become easier to do. In fact, that's being covered in the next video.
