What’s your strategy using the Go plus plus, like what do you do before/after your main sleep? What time do you set your Go plus plus for nap? How many hours each?

@Mang20023 after main sleep I just press review later. It's only for me to make content until after my nap has finished tracking.

@Mang20023 the timing for nap depends on a lot of factors. If you want optimal healing you can delay the syncing until you actually need the energy.

I guess I could do 1.5 hour nap at lunch time, then hit review later (or not depending on my mood 😂), then full sleep at night.

Gengar has nothing else to do anyway. I have no concerns for gengar right now. Other than dream shard costs you wouldn't be losing much.

I try not to speculate on these things and only advise based on what we do know. Besides, we don't really need quaxly for beans with golem around. Also potato is the weakest of all "rare" ingredients. It was no surprise to be power crept first. It's weaker than cacao as an extra ingredient. Leek is not in the same class.

The reason why Comfey is not a clear winner even at CB is that Bewear would finish farming corn quicker than Comfey, then you can switch to a real berry specialist that matches favorite and has BFS earlier like Feraligatr, Dodrio or Clefable. Certainly 3 berries with IF down on these Pokemon would be better than Comfey who does 1-2 berries only (note: BFS harming its ingredient output if inventory is reached) and you want IF up, which means less berries per period of time. Comfey isn't giving you enough berries if you have great ingredient stats and no BFS.

It's not saying Comfey is bad for CB, but if you need 1 corn farmer for CB, and 1 corn farmer in all other areas, that's a more expensive hunt and heavier investment overall, even more than just doing a mono ingredient build.

BFS will nerf the ingredient production in some situations. On top of that if you have sausage at L60 your apple farming essentially halved. Unless your plan is to never run mono sausage charizard maybe that's OK. I would prefer to prepare ingredient specialists who can go to any island. They rotate into the team only based on the 3 dish types we can roll and not worry about island berry. Even with BFS they just don't farm as much as BFS berry specialists. So if they can do the right ingredient amounts, it'll save you time to put a berry specialist back on the team.

To prepare 8 AAB ingredient specialists (1 for every ingredient) for every island to match berry would probably take even longer than hunting mono ingredient. And isn't better than rotating back in a BFS berry specialist imo. Gotto check the numbers on that though. I don't personally see the value.

Here's my take on that: why not use berry specialists while you hunt ingredient pokes? Berry meta hasn't changed since the start of the game. Ingredients being farmed perfectly just gives rise to more time for berry farming.

We like casual, caring-a-little-bit players. It's what keeps the game alive. Helps dilute the sweaty min maxers like me.

No, they're all the same. I said when they match the recipe (ingredients used within the recipe) then it's worth up to 4x.

"Rare" Ingredients like leek tails and mushrooms are simplified to be part of "mono" list if they are in both L30 L60 slots because no one can do it in first slot. Potato used to be included but you know, sprigatito.

It's just a simplified way of defining the mono spread right now, otherwise I have to keep saying "mono except rare ingredients".

Tails even more problematic since only slowpoke line at L30 farms and it isn't even ingredient specialty.

Yep, this bugged me too. It's 1/6.

The second ingredient (L30) has a 1/3 chance to be the same as the first slot (AAX) 2/3 chance it is a different ingredient (ABX)

@@Bropenings oh wow. Thanks for clarifying. I would recommend mentioning that more frequently in future mono-ingredient videos, since it highlights further how tricky it can be to get a good pokemon beyond just decent subskills.

Perhaps you should consider mono itself being an excellent stat so you don't need subskills and natures to be perfect.

If you love it, it's worth it.

Hold the golem for now. Mushroom farming only has 1 option so it may be good assistance later on if you already invested.

Ttar is over 20% better than Kanga at ginger farming. Kanga also harder to get candies both from research and from friends. It'll be an uphill battle raising kanga but if you got a great one, then it frees up ttar to not be mono (maybe do some beans?). I personally still prefer to make mono ginger ttar because it's that good. Your Kanga can be a secondary option if for some reason ttar has a bad healing day (unlikely).

Mono itself is a great stat. I'm more lenient when it comes to perfect subskills & nature if they have correct ingredients.

Do you mean for Quaquaval? Yeah as a result Dugtrio is actually still better at L30 which I explained.

@@Bropenings yeah quaqaval drops less per drop. to me even level 60 dugtrio is better. not by much but better. tho to be sure do both drop 4 at level 60?

@okazakikun1 because of the combination of ingredient rate and speed, quaquaval is about 15% better at leeks at L60 than dugtrio. This was explained towards the end of the video.

@@Bropenings that one more that dugtrio drops is like 15% more then quaquaval. i have days where the mon mostly drops the first ingredient so i think a mon that drops more per drop is better.

I fill up the pot 90% of the time. But the ingredients come from berry specialists farming wrong ingredients. Hopefully it's not coming too much from ingredient specialists otherwise something isn't optimised.

It's just simplifying the terminology. It's assumed we all know no one farms base leek. That applied to potato until recently also.
