to avoid having to use stronger return springs on the throttle, you loosen the nut on the arm 1/4 turn. Also, bypassing the governor instead of removing it completely gives a great chance of the little plastic wheel to shatter. I would remove it all together.
I heard of a fuel injection system for 1 cylinder engine that learns as you drive so you don't need to adjust the carb they did this on cars and cameras
That big nut by the arm if u loosen that a bit it would have returned the arm for you and buddy imma tell you straight if you don't know what your talking about or how to really do things I say don't do it
It came with the go kart when I bought it. However, it is for sale if you are located in the United States. Send me an email (You can find the email on the about tab on my channel), if you are interested and want to make an offer.
+zed4me yes you can the flyweights are to be towards the block in the sprocket is to be to the outside it really don't matter because you went with the torque converter which is the best set up anyways but stretching your frame to relocate your engine would prevent you from getting burnt by the exhaust also you could put a bigger motor on it good luck with your build it's always nice to see somebody not afraid to take something on that might be a little beyond your skill set for the most part good job
+zed4me they are always done that way for two reasons, 1. Has less chance of dirt getting into the clutch. 2. If the chain happens to come off of the sprocket it doesn't tear or grind into the side of the block
Okay so first off, engines aren't supposed to be "broken in" anymore. Leaving it outside and running for 3 hours did nothing but dust up your crankshaft bearings and probably clog a good portion of your air filter. Also, that's not the governor. The governor is deep down in the engine and for someone of your engine knowledge shouldn't be touched. Finally, your whole rig for the throttle is useless. When you put in the throttle cable, the return spring on the frame is powerful enough to return the linkage to idle speed. An electric motor with enough power to match up to the power of a predator will definitely cost you quite the stacks.
you should've mount the engine on the go kart and start it and break it in that way
Beautiful Emmick go kart!

What engine mount is on it?
Love this Channel
Where did you buy your engine mount an where can I get a seat?
Where did you get the mount from
I'm building my first kart for my child. Your video was informative. Thanks.
Great vid! Just got my first cart and I'll be putting in a predator 212cc as well. Your video clears up a lot for first timer's!

Great video. Thanks for explaining the throttle spring stuff.
Why did the motor installed at an angle in front?
Where did u get that motor mount
can u do a giveaway for the old clutch?????
That big nut by the arm if u loosen that a bit it would have returned the arm for you and buddy imma tell you straight if you don't know what your talking about or how to really do things I say don't do it
Hey what clutch are u using I want on like it
why not mount it on the cart and let it break in??
what kind of frame?
Where can I purchase that same mounting plate??
Not sure but if you're in the US you can buy mine since I'm going electric lol
Great video..👍 what is your gear ratio?
15t sprocket mated to 60t rear I believe. I'll have to double check the rear sprocket size.
you never run in a motor without weight on the crank, i thought?
what is the chassis called like whats the frame called???
looks like an 80s EMMICK
What clutch are is he using for this engine?
*What clutch are you using for this engine
It came with the kart so I'm not sure
Nicholas Coleman a centrifugal clutch
How i buy a clatch like you use??
First of all, its called *clutch
Seach 'centerfugil clutch' on google
Where did you get your engine mount for your predator and how much did it cost please respond thanks :)

I rode a minibike with a 212 vibrated so much my hands go numb and also blurred vision
Gets better after awhile but I still definitely need electric.
You put the clutch on backwards
You can't put on a centrifugal clutch backwards

Kevin Pfeifle can you explain why the clutch had to be put on that way?
+zed4me they are always done that way for two reasons, 1. Has less chance of dirt getting into the clutch. 2. If the chain happens to come off of the sprocket it doesn't tear or grind into the side of the block
it's harder on the crank mounted outboard
Hello guys there is some one that know the model of the cart (chasis). Thank you all
Looks like an 80s emmick or a coyote .
