    I like it. I would mount the batteries behind the seat instead of between my legs.

    Very Kool! I converted a Dingo go kart to electric. Check it out, it's called El Dingo. I had same initial issue Not impressed with power. Working on programming now. Electric is the way to go.

    qhat number chain are you running im running #35 chain im killing gears thinking about going to #40 or #530 chain

    • @zed4me
      @zed4me  8 лет назад

      #35 chain here as well, no issues though.. what do you mean you're killing gears? What are you running?

    • @leeanamercado8836
      @leeanamercado8836 8 лет назад

      zed4me im running a golden motor 5kw for now. i tried to go to full throttle from a stop and i destroyed the steel gear on the motor it was a 22t #35. i think im going to go with #530 setup because the new motor thats going in has 45ft lbs of torque.

    • @zed4me
      @zed4me  8 лет назад

      ed mercado so the gear is stripping and not the chain? I would get a better gear cause the #35 is more than enough. I haven't had any issues.

    Because you have a lot of experience with 3 phase motor controllers I thought I would ask you if you by any chance knew how to go about the phase learning process in the less expensive e bike controllers. Say 1500 watt? My controller has 2 white wires that from what I understand, connect together for phase learning. Do I power up the controller with the wires connected together? Do I apply throttle? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I hope you can find the time to reply I do understand you are probably very busy as am I.

    • @zed4me
      @zed4me  7 лет назад

      vh14a every controller is different. If yours has wires for learning the way you usually set those up is to turn on the controller with the wires connected and then turning the wheel so that it can "read it" if that makes sense.
