i like the kart. Electric power is much better then it used to be. wonder about price, gas vrs electric. would love to see the difference after you tune it. electric tuning. sounds bit strange. but cool. very quiet kart.
Do you have the specs for this awesome machine published anywhere? Would like to know the motor wattage and voltage, also battery voltage and amp hours. Thanks!
Hey there been looking at building an electric go-kart with rc car equipment this looks awesome what would be a ballpark price range for something like that.
zed4me im running a golden motor 5kw for now. i tried to go to full throttle from a stop and i destroyed the steel gear on the motor it was a 22t #35. i think im going to go with #530 setup because the new motor thats going in has 45ft lbs of torque.
Very Kool! I converted a Dingo go kart to electric. Check it out, it's called El Dingo. I had same initial issue Not impressed with power. Working on programming now. Electric is the way to go.
i like to make one. can u give me the list and where can i buy all the parts and the charger. im not an electricial and idk about electric but i realy want to build my own car and it is can full if two person sitting?
Because you have a lot of experience with 3 phase motor controllers I thought I would ask you if you by any chance knew how to go about the phase learning process in the less expensive e bike controllers. Say 1500 watt? My controller has 2 white wires that from what I understand, connect together for phase learning. Do I power up the controller with the wires connected together? Do I apply throttle? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I hope you can find the time to reply I do understand you are probably very busy as am I.
vh14a every controller is different. If yours has wires for learning the way you usually set those up is to turn on the controller with the wires connected and then turning the wheel so that it can "read it" if that makes sense.
So I just tuned it up to full power.. holy smokes! Can't wait to show you guys the finished product.. calling it a beast is an understatement.
subbed. Badass I want one so bad.
20s 2p battery? Lol, 72v nominal. You're a mad man
Nice commuter car.
You should add some led lights.
I like it. I would mount the batteries behind the seat instead of between my legs.

electric' s cost more to buy but less to run
Also cost more to maintain. Them batteries aint cheap!

Matthew Joll there's a video on my channel detailing all this
same thing, would this kart be too quiet to have the muscle feel like one powered by engine

Jackson Watts $1000-2000
What type of motor did you use, I've been looking for a fast and affordable one (under $500) please let me know
What's the motor and battery?
what motor is it? i would like to do this build
It's a motenergy.. model name was really long can't remember exactly but it's the 18hp version
qhat number chain are you running im running #35 chain im killing gears thinking about going to #40 or #530 chain
#35 chain here as well, no issues though.. what do you mean you're killing gears? What are you running?

ed mercado so the gear is stripping and not the chain? I would get a better gear cause the #35 is more than enough. I haven't had any issues.
Dude bout got ran over by that dump truck backing out!
Very cool man!
Where is the parts list?
how much did it cost
Hey see what is your tire size

Hi there we need to see driving with 100% power
Jealousy really hurts!
