This is a silly detail to care about but I'm glad the Atlanteans look a little like they're swimming. Aquaman basically had people flying underwater, which is fine, but here they're at least doing a light dolphin kick or something. As a former swimmer my immersion (pun intended) appreciates it. 😂

I agree, it did look a bit ridiculous that none of them were actually swimming In Aquaman.
In BP2 in my understanding they were actually working in water, while in Aquaman they did most of their work in smoke with mechanical assistance. BP2 had the assistance of visual effects staff from the Avatar sequels. There's a reason why Ryan Coogler asked Tenoch Huerta (Namor), during the casting process, if he could swim.

Shuri 's Black Panther suit is phenomenal. I love the detail with her putting face paint on the mask. Ramonda, Nakia, M'Baku Okoye and Riri in her Ironheart suit bout to cut tf up! They don't wanna mess with the Wakandans....they not ready!!

Honestly I don't mind shuri as BP, I mean it happens in the comics and was leaked a while ago lol, but glad she made her own suit, just hope they write Shuri's character well
I wanted Nakia to be Black Panther as she is more of a warrior than shuri, and she also has some leadership qualities... But I'm completely OK with Shuri being Black Panther

I literally started crying when i saw her. It was so heroic and brave, one of the trailer moments of all.
Dude!!! So far the trailers for this movie deserve to be given ALL OF THE AWARDS themselves. I hope the movie can meet this level of quality. (FTR I'm not worried too much about the movie quality. RC has never made a bad film. Also, when the love and respect for Chadwick is thrown into the mix, along with this wonderful cast, we end up with a recipe bound to be legendary!)
Can't wait to see Atlantis in the MCU!! I also hope that the movie features Attuma. I didn't put 2 and 2 together last time with the Atlanteans who have blue skin but Attuma also has blue skin. Going to be EPIC!!!!
The new Black Panther has the white dots the the forehead that Shuri wears, it's sound absorbent, and has what appears to be a refined version of Shuri's energy blasters. I think it's Shuri, using technology to duplicate the powerset, as Killmonger burned the heartshaped herb.

Storm is from New York. She was born at Harlem Hospital. She was raised in Cairo Egypt and lives her teens. In Kenya. Her mother is from the rift valley not too far from Wakanda but not Wakanda
Tenoch Huerta has been in a lot of movies, it's not his first role in movies, just in the MCU

One big thing that I noticed was that the white dots on Shuri's face at the beginning matched the white dots on the Black panther mask at the end!

Tenoch Huerta, who's playing Namor, already has 70 acting credits to his name. I don't know how many were staring roles though, and there's a number of "man in elevator" type roles on his imdb, so might be first big lead role for him.
This isn’t Tenoch Huerta’s (Namor’s) first role. He’s been in a lot of Mexican shows and movies. He’s also in Narcos Mexico

Wasn’t the hulk buster armor in wakanda at end of infinity war - maybe they still had it for research and Iron Heart uses it to build her prototype - would explain bulk

No problem with Shuri as BP, it just sucks it had to happen this fast with the passing of Chadwick. I cannot wait though!
Her character (in the MCU obviously, which is different than the comics) was written as an engineer, not a warrior. The only fighting she's done was in End Game where she shoots little Vibranium guns she made.
I don't like the actress, but even if I ignore everything in the real world and focus on just story telling, it makes 100x more sense to use Nakia or Okoye or M'Baku.....there's probably 10 others that would be better suited than Shuri that I can't think of off the top of my head.

7:03 Tenoch Huerta has been acting since the early 2000s, my guy! When it was announced that he was in the running for Namor, many online were pointing to his work on Narcos: Mexico. You should check his IMDB.
O'Koye is the leader of the Dora Milaje, Ayo the Dora we saw in the Falcon and the Winter Soldier is her number two.
Shuri doesn't have to be leader--the trailer suggests that she isn't. I figure Shuri's relationship with her mother will parallel T'Chaka and T'Challa's. What I mean by that is Romanda will rule as Queen, while Shuri will be Wakanda's Princess and protector. Neat! Shuri should be the new Black Panther, but if they were going to go with someone else, I guess it could be Nakia. I think she's T'Challa's wife in the MCU and the young man we see at 2:33 is probably T'Challa and Nakia's son, the future Black Panther.

In the comic's, RiRi's first suit is huge because it's built from the parts she could get. She later refines and streamlines it.

6:04 Storm's father was a Black American journalist and her mother was a Kenyan princess. After she was orphaned she was raised as a thief in Cairo before making her way back to Kenya. She later was married to Tchalla for a little while. Thats her connection to Wakanda. (And just in case people wanna be mad. I'm not saying they should have known any of this or that they're doing a bad by guessing other countries. I'm just obsessed with the Xmen)
