This is an easy endgame build guide for Wolcen using a pistol ranger. I used it to beat the campaign and progress beyond.

Well, after dying about 8 times to the Lambach boss I decided to look up one of your guides. Found this one. Still took me about three more tries, but I finally did it. My damage output was HUGE compared to before the guide. Thank you so very much for the great guide!
The key to beat lambach is to transform during his aoe phase. Outside of that he hardly dangerous
I love how the builds are both easily accessible for a new comer, but also at the same time having enough depth for ARPG veterans. Very strong foundation for future development and expansion.
I'm running melee/spell build
Right click: Bladestorm with hold to continue the attack passive
1: Light-bringer to teleport onto the gathered up enemies from anomaly and deal damage
2: Anomaly to gather up the enemies together (passive that pulls them in multiple times)
3: Burning Embers (fireball) to spend your extra willpower to get rage and deal some extra damage
4: Sovereign Shout to build rage and deal some extra damage with bladestorm and faster attack speed
Really enjoying this build so far give it a shot if you need something else!
anomaly is super strong i use it in a similar build to this video tho i am way more focused on crit and just pulling everything into a railgun+rain of arrows feels really good

King Charles i literally haven’t gotten any unique items and maybe one or two legendaries so no not really just make sure you have high transfer rate reduction between willpower and rage cuz you’ll use both quite frequently other than that it’s just a casual fun build
King Charles update: this build is realllllly not good for act 3 i highly recommend running a run and catalyst build for later game

you might want to consider a 3-2-2-3 build and grab the Cabalist nodes that will let you boost your damage for every ailment stack that enemies had. Attacks and Spells both trigger ailments, while spells only deal their own damage type and whatever +spelldamage type you have as an ailment, attacks procc the highest stat-sheet number (displayed under C -> Details). Combined with +Max stacks from Cabalist and Timeweaver-nodes (which you should also take a look at, stasis-ed enemies recieve double damage) will grant you damage increases that, when done correctly, can go from anywhere 60 to 180%. Livor Mortis afaik can deal poison damage (which isnt bad, even if im wrong), while aether jump is able to put stasis on your enemies. The only thing you would need now are two of these: Bleed, shock, fire (preferred) - as your highest or second-highest damagenumber, so that you can procc two more effects.
Utilizing mark of impurity over turret is advised, as Mark can put 10 stacks of curse on your enemy, which is a +100% damage from any source. Combined with the timeweaver node and stasis-ing the enemy youve just tripled your damage output on bosses and minions.
You might also wish to consider putting the regen into rage, which enables blistering embrace to be picked with a few extra points, a passive that allows you to consume 5+ burning stacks that boosts damage for 10% per stack consumed. when burning is at 30 stacks, which can be easily achieved by having the above-mentioned fire as your highest/second highest Ailment alongside the cabalist 1+2*2 nodes (Theorycrafters arent sure whether you get 4, 5 or 6 stacks per attack) alongside the 20% phys into fire damage, also if your rage is >750, you double rage costs but also deal double damage, which with a deathgazer railgun might be capable of oneshotting lower-tier bosses.
Also, consider using gunslingers Brand, that is 10 hits of which each can procc any ailment you can do with normal attacks, while you have to capability of putting it to stasis-damage, should you wish to NOT utilize aether jump to put stasis on your enemies, while still retaining a huge damage output on single-target enemies
Congratulations, you can now tear through all the content up to level 120
Lovely to know is if you hold down autoturret button you have that turret in your hands, so you are shooting! So much fun.

Loving the Wolcen videos, and loving the game so far. Playing with friends I am going Soldier -> Praetorian -> Child of Fury / Oracle of the Trinity. Focusing on defensive and block-related nodes. I am really interested to see how Fury's "Furious Appetite" (regen Rage instead of Willpower) pairs with Trinity's "Elementary Destabilization" (chance to cause an explosion when low of Willpower).

Can you path into 2 different 3rd ring areas ? I hadn't thought so.
@@adgato75 I don't know of any reason why you can't, unless the game specifically locks you into one once you get there. I haven't gotten to that point yet, but I should get plenty of passive points to do what I want.
@@Ditto_Plush I just don't see how. Like , not because of points , but because of pathing. Once you path from ring 1 to ring 2 , doesn't it lock it ? No more spinny spinny ?
@@adgato75 Nah man. You can spin that shit all day. If you have unconfirmed points allocated you cannot spin the wheels, but once all allocated points are confirmed (not counting "remaining points") you can spin the wheels. From the Praetorian block I will be using both the outer exits to get into Child of Fury and Oracle of the Trinity. They are conveniently right next to each other.

With the Turret Skill, you missed one key thing, early game before it can turn, it has a feature where if you hold the skill, you pick up the turret and can fire it yourself. It does lock you in place but gives you some nice firepower.
I did that by accident, so much fun !

Picked it up last, was pretty buggy with crashes for many hour, after that it’s been smooth sailing, loving it so far.
Same here I couldnt start a game for like 15 minutes then it was fine after that.

I'm currently working on a ranger Frost build. I've been using deathbringer as a rage builder and converted the damage to Frost. I also went down the ranger line to add damage to impaired opponents and use the rain of arrows skill (forgot the name) and the curse mentioned in this video to slow targets. With those and the turrets I'm doing pretty good damage. I'm planning on going down to that white arrow spec and arms maester for MOAR DAMAGE.

Played a ton of beta plays and I’m so happy they didn’t unfurl everything so we get so much more with the actual release. Getting online mode was rather tricky but with a little perseverance I was able to get in and play a bit.
Seems like I always settle in with a turret build.
I’m looking forward to more data on ferocity vs agility as time goes on and the deeper we get into end game

This is why I like your videos. You always think of things that I never would have. Ranger and caster... FFS... makes too much sense. Thought the stat choices would take away from ranged abilities or such, but this is cool. Gonna have to try it out. I'm just starting out right now so I still have plenty of ability to work on gearing up towards a build like this. Thus far I've been working towards crit chance and movement speed.

Was in the fight sequence against his brother Edric, and if 1 of 2 things happen, it screws it up. If he moves off the fight pad , you can't hit him,or you tele/back roll off, you descend until you end up in the main area of the Stormfall-palace District. Which means.....restart.
Having a huge amount of fun with a full DoT build.

I can tell you that the turret is great at melting bosses if you use its secondary function, basically turning it into a minigun since it gains a lot of attack speed when you manually wield it. Absolutely melts bosses, only trouble is the cooldown on the skill if you get in a bad position and have to stop firing early.
Loving the launch patch and can't wait to try more builds like yours. Currently a 2H all melee focused Crit build, Whirling Axe pretty hard hitter.

I love when Arpgs incorporates that kind of Sniper skill, no wonder Scourge arrow is my favorite ability in PoE. As for runes, i go for the one that inverts the size of the area of effect (starts narrow / low dmg to ramp up to wide / high dmg), feels more natural to me.
A build like this looks like a fairly standard 4-2-4-0 or 4-3-3-0 setup for the stats, depending on how much you value extra EHP vs Extra Attack Speed. Another thing I could recommend is going into the Soldier Tree in the first ring and grabing the Crit passives there.

Thanks for the guide. Very helpful for new players. Aether jump & lightbringer is awesome. High mobility is a lot of fun. Got a unique warhammer so gonna try some melee skills but also looking forward to try infinity blades (reminds me of zealots in SC) later on.

Melee build then I pickup a few pistols now I've forgotten about my swords; pistol mechanics have been seriously overhauled since beta and are very enjoyable. My melee life bar build (regen & leach) with pistols is bordering OP already and I really dig it. A "stand your ground" build possibly.
Amulets and rings that offer elemental buffs to attacks also compliment the pistols incredibly and I general mix types like a dot (poison or fire) & slow (freeze/cold) dual wielding (akimbo).
Yup, pistol builds are satisfying in Wolcen and more so than most if not all other ARPG titles I've played. Think they were hiding these mechanics from the beta; lol.
Man, this game is going to be a top contender in a few months once they iron out all the kinks, and fix all the bugs. PoE might actually have some competition finally.
Game did way better than the devs thought it would, they're currently setting more servers up
I actually made a functional max block reflect melee build as my first one. Juggernaut skill, some juicy block nodes and shield damage nodes on the tree(a couple that multiply your damage based on shield's block value give humongous amounts of dmg) and bosses often one-shot themselves against my shell.
It's amazing, I love it. Buuut I tried ranged for a bit as well and, I dunno, felt kind of clunky. I guess I miss the "move only" function of left mouse button. Will take some getting used to.
We all just wait for Diablo Immortal. That's the true competitor this year.

I just finished the game with a pet build... the Parasite skill is entirely OP.
I started the game as a melee DD and had a good time (ab-)using blade Vorte... i mean bleeding edge.
The fact that leech is instant in this game and the bleeding edge (with the right setup) scales with 300% of the attack damage hitting 2 times per second over 6 seconds as an aura (while being stackable) leads to Builds like mine that only focusses on crit/phys damage while minimizing rage cost/maximizing rage generation to create 5 stacks of it per second and straightup delete everything that gets into the radius instantly while being only killable by oneshots
This game is absolutely amazing. I bought it last night, never played Beta. It has some things it needs to work on (UI responsiveness is my main issue, but it isn't gamebreaking by any means) and gear pickup could be smoother. I am rolling with my own custom stave caster/pewpewbeam and infinity blade combo. I feel like a caster jedi who vomits lazers. It's so fun lol

I changed over my build more to the turret now, somthing i had in the beta. But i did not have a skill called "plague Burst" It doe well, with the turret build. Spending points in to ur targets explode in that ring, and leave poison after kill. It works crazy good with the Mak3 unique gun and the Catalyst that copies last spell dmg into 25% turret dmg. The build has gotten so strong, i hardly see mobs on my screen now.. everthing blow up like in the Diablo 3 necro build. with turrets.. amazing.. just amazing. I can see meta play with the vortex spell and plagueburst. Its to strong. U run, deploy turret and apply that plagueburst to ur self.. and everything on map explodes. I also have the big guy, the small windows that he taunts is amazing.
Huh. We are running very similar builds, but I'm right at the end of the game because of the server issues, so I look forward to testing it out in endgame. It pretty much walks over the content well enough without deaths.

hi basically my best combo actually for killing boss: turret + arrow rain (that aoe like DH on d3) + laser beam max charging shot
For this build, I can see how sting of kraerion would work better than the death gun skill at slightly later levels. After sting of kraerion unlocks 2 modifiers, one which lets it shoot in a straight and focused line by summoning ghosts to shoot alongside the player, the other one which allow the skill to be chargeable just like the death gun skill, the damage will be straight up higher and also the turn rate of the character once the skill has been charged is instant. That means it is way better especially against mobs that move very fast.
Movement is definitely op for bosses, the first act boss made me dodge way to much. But then again I'm trying a summoner dot and it's proving hard to piece it together.

started with this and still playing with a very similar build at lvl 75 rn. enjoying the play style so much, still viable at the end game, can fast clear 125 lvl expe. one weak point is Justicar bosses or mini bosses even counter me very hard

How does the build maintain rage?
Auto attacks give rage and all that willpower spending provides rage.
@@Sorain1 but he got rage in town and you only get rage from auto attacks if you hit an enemy
Ha Ha! Should have watched this BEFORE I got stuck at the end of act one... my Ranger isn't cutting it as is. I missed a few things, that's what I get for just diving in ; ) Thanks Rhykker !!!
After leveling you could transition to dump more in Ferocity and less in agi by focusing your gear towards it and getting some on the passives (since this game have easy respec the leveling stat builds will be different from endgame)
I'm playing something similar but focused on projectile spells and using staves. (You can autoattack and cast the ice spear spell)
Leveling through the Act1 im going 7Tough + 3Agi since I didnt trusted the crit in early game (no theory yet.. just guts).
At Act2 when I finally realize my final skill set ill transition to 3F + 4T + 3A..
After i get nice agi at my gear and tree I will focus on F and T.
Hope this plan workout for endgame content hahaha
Everything seems viable so far up to level 60 anyway but still seems better to dump 80% of points dumped into 1 stat. Sadly you don’t need that much toughness. Getting to 20-25% chance on Wisdom is fine and attack speed shines the best as an auto attacker so everyone will mostly dump into crit. I’d like to see when diminishing returns start though.

doing a pistol shield build. it's pretty fun
Taking the white arrow abilities make auto attacks with dual wielding pistols ridiculously overpowered when combined with high attack speed. I’ve tried 7-8 builds and none kill as fast as my auto attacker

Doing a machine gun fireball build, putting everything in dex and now I have an insane amount of cast speed lol, I love it
First two rings are agi as well for the projectile speed/dmg and projectile split, but then did elementalist. I'm planning on going towards the silver arrow thing next
Finished act 1 last night, and maybe a third of the way through act 2, but I haven't logged in today because of the rocky servers :c
You need the chest piece that let's you use railgun without the gear requirement.

Is the stasis modifier for the deathgaze railgun working? It says 100% chance of stasis for 5 seconds but doesnt seem to happen? Am i missing something?
I still believe gunslinger’s brand is the best ranger skill. Ten shots each burst, easy to apply ailment and you can do that every 1s. Even more awesome now that we don’t have to spend point to be able to target with the cursor. Kill bosses in matter of seconds if you have a nice position
I used the pistol/catalyst hybrid build like this but instead of the sniper skill I used the Annihilation 'laser beam' skill. The other 4 are the golem pet, anomaly, tear of etheliel and the turret. I don't need the teleport and with anomaly and tear I have 2 AoE's. Only thing I may change is using the sniper shot over the laser beam skill just to see if it's better but not likely. Also I put every attribute point into Toughness, never any need to put into the other three since you don't really nerf your DPS by doing that in this game and at level 17 my character has 3497 HP and 1241 Shield and still gets white numbers over 100 and crits around 250-350 which still kills everything fast.
i naturally selected all the nodes and play style before seeing this vid, wondering if I had even remotely close to a viable build, and low and behold. Except my stat distribution was entirely different, whereas I actually pumped a lot into wisdom, as it was the primary stat as dictated by the game itself.
Seems this is about 50% the build I came up with myself, but I think I'll deffo try to switch one pistol out to get those spells, since having a minion tanking is something I sorely missed in the Act 1 final boss fight. That turret is a legit bae.
made a tank and a summoner build so far :D
but i must say the summons need a greater agro range, as they sometimes just stand there while you attack, and they need you to get to 20+ lvl so that you get the reduced damage for them or they die to fast.
with you summoner do you do much damage? I have all the summoner skills and that poison aoe thing that drops gass clouds when stuff dies and makes them explode. i really like the skills but i have no idea how to make myself to more damage.
Whatis making this game and POE better than Diablo is there is no one build to rule them all. You can make whatever you want and the gear helps you do that.
Hey Rhykker ! u have any idee with the act 2 problem progression??? x( no matter how far i played when i come back its reset me at the begining at act2.....and after few reloads...now resets me on act 1 at starting zone x( at lvl 32 with all skills and magic and gear on me -_-

@@Rhykker Amazing how often with games now the reviewers get a stable pre-release build, but once the game goes live there are bugs everywhere.

Correct me if im wrong but the mechanic of willpower and rage is odd because I feel like it forces you to make hybrid builds otherwise youre just standing around waiting for a single resource to regenerate.

Choose manually a server, your ping might be high but it is not as bad.
Try different servers until you can create a game.
play ofline. they where expecting 5.000 players and as of now the players actually was 97.000!!!

EU servers had the biggest problem but it seems good now. I'm playing like 2.5h now, sadly got kicked out 2 times but that was in the first half hour. Playing stable now.
There was also an in-game message that there is a hotfix ongoing for the servers with the note that game could kick you out. So hopefully when this hotfix is through we will habe some stable servers.

@@egsi Torchlight or League? Torchlight is going to be released as Torchlight 3 very soon. League unfortunately is in development hell. A TV series was planned a few years ago, but since the property was Fox's e it was bought by Disney, I don't know what will happen to the franchise.
Alan Moore and Kevin O'Neill released the last and final volume of the series last year and it's now available in TPB format: Tempest.

Anyone still using this at 60? I'm beyond the point that rykker was when he made this so I've done my best to choose passives that make sense. Havnt had to stop progression to grind so it say it's going well.
Anyone sticking with it? What other passives have you chosen? How do you reconcile that railgun is elemental damage while everything else is material? I feel like eventually I need to either replace elemental abilities with material, or vice versa. I also wonder if there is a viable way to replace catalyst as most catalyst stats are wasted if you're not damaging with spells.
Sorry for the barrage of questions but I'm curious if anyone has pondered any of this?
How do you get Phantom blades to shoot the double blades like he shows in the video?
Had to take a break. Act 1 boss kept doing the kneel thing and never getting up (3 times in a row) then I was using the whirlwind skill in phase 3 and just went right off the arena and fell all the way back to town, which of course resets the boss. Im very frustrated right now. was having a blast up until then.

played the first boss with a similar build with just 1.1k health/shield. just get ur auto turret going by spending all the skill ressource into avengers. ur skill level can be higher than ur characters level. at the end of act 3 i was level 35 with 4250 health/shield and none of them were a problem. i do play with evasion as a movement skill tho
finished downloading it this morning. have to play offline tho, cant connect to servers.
Got through chapter 1. Last boss was a big difficulty spike compared to the rest.
Worst bug so far: untargetable, invincible bats.
remember, ur offline progress wont carry over to online mode.

Arrows go straight past, the only thing that works are resource spending AOE attacks.
its no issue if you got resource to spend, but if lack it, you cant hit the bats to build it up
@@cchandleriv Tried that and it doesn't work. I had to resort to using either a melee weap to finish them off or an AoE
The extra projectile could synergise well with Havoc Orb with the skill modifer "Glory To Mankind" wouldent it? And then maybe get the passive skill tree "Wintry Hail" in the white arrow section
You may have realized this by now, but stasis is 100% a slow, physical damage is what can stun, not aether
