    The best way that helped me achieve this lunge pain free was to keep my front shin vertical when I lowered and came up back up, solved any knee discomfort!

    The back-and-to-the-side-angle is a big form reminder for me. Definitely going to pay a bit more attention when I do my courtesy lunges from now on.
