I got us all up in prayer 🙏🏻
You know, one day i was driving to work, stop at the stop sign, a gust of wind came across my truck and my prayers were answered, the lust for alcohol was gone, just gone, that was 28 years ago, our god was at work, clean and sober for almost 30 years, thank yall for letting me tell my story.
He took my smoking and drinking away 22 years ago.
PRAISE GOD FOR HIS BLESSINGS, HEALINGS❤❤❤❤❤❤.

God is great !!! He takes our problems and turn them into a testimony!! Be blessed my friend 😊
When God delivers us from something, it is a done deal. We are totally free from whatever it was. When we struggle and overcome something, it can always come back to us and so we have to remain on a constant vigilance in order to stay clean. Not so with God, He doesn't do things halfway, He takes away the desire and even the "thrill or high" of it. In other words, it won't do a thing for you like it once did. The catch is always, are you truly His and did He truly deliver you. When He does, you know it without a doubt. Besides, if you are His, He will get your attention one way or another plus make you so miserable until you truly repent and seek Him. Many a person has finally hit rock bottom, the real rock bottom and had no where to go but to listen to the Holy Spirit tugging at their heart. He lefts us up out of the mire and does crazy wonderful stuff with us afterwards. He then uses testimonies like yours for others to see and understand how great His Grace really is. Shine on Sheila

It’s the buffet line with every tasty food and treat imaginable. How could one not want to go there. Appetizing and inviting. All that and such. But God’s Word is our daily portion. It’s nurturing and pleasing and comforting. Plus it can feel your needs in a way the world cannot. Everyone loves the Buffet Line. Between the 2 it’s one or the other. I’m thankful for the daily portions. Plus that it never goes bad. It’s always fresh. God’s Word is. And never changes. Jesus is coming back and he is the only way. Good message from Jimmy today. I'm glad you said, and anything else. I feel this story means anything we over do becomes a false idol. Remember, everything in moderation ... except praising God!
everything in moderation. for many, there is no such thing as moderation. Yes, God does not condemn drinking but drunkardness. Think about it, your wisdom and common sense is gone so you begin making judgements or decisions that you would have never made. Your comprehension waivers and so bad decisions are made. Some suddenly get brave and do things that they will regret. But for the Believer, it is about failing to reflect Jesus in so many ways plus disobeying Him. I tell people that I make bad enough decisions on my own that I don't need any help in making more or worse. Even Samuel's sons were drunks and caused him much grief plus the people mocked them. God knows our own hearts better than we do and sometimes keeps us where we are to protect us from the success that we think we should have because He knows the temptations we would face and fail at. It is hard to shine for Jesus when your are wasted. So Shine on Brother, put a smile on His face, not a frown

Hello Jimmy it's Bill how are you hope all is well Jimmy and hope all is well with Chris and Jimmy I want to thank you for our awesome Daily Devotional message and scripture today for the book of Ephesians absolutely Jimmy I agree 100% with you Jimmy absolutely and the Bible does condemn drunkenness absolutely Jimmy I don't drink either and believe me I don't even miss it at all many many many many many years ago I did and quit since then and have not touched any drinks I do not drink at all and that's the way I like to keep it I am the same as you I do not drink and I'll tell you back in the day you know having beer in the boat and all that and drinking a few and operating a boat and etcetera that's just a very dangerous way of inviting trouble as an accident or impaired driving the same thing as you know operating a motor vehicle they just don't realize it when you're operating a boat it's just as dangerous that's for sure and you know nowadays you can be charged with driving while Under the Influence DWI there could be consequences with that so it's just not worth it enjoy the time out there we don't need alcohol that just impairs everything and can be very very destructive that's for sure but I must say to fill me with the Holy Spirit absolutely I'd rather have that than alcohol that's for sure I agree Jim 100% and Jimmy boy what a hot one today y'all as we speak Jimmy 97° very very humid dew point temperature 72 oppressive humidity and we are standing out of heat index of 108 we're supposed to get rain tomorrow Sunday so we'll see how that happens they have predicted for severe storm Sunday and Monday I'll let you know how we make out going to try to get out and do some crappie fishing today LOL hopefully and Jimmy I hope all is going well there if you do any fishing or just hanging out the ranch anything with Chris always great to hear and I always always appreciate hearing from you Jim and I appreciate you sharing bass fishing going slow here Jim we're going to hope it picks up a little bit probably down pretty deep Jim cuz of this water really superheated up about that no doubt in my mind I try to get a water temp next time I'm out to see what it is now I'll definitely let you know definitely share that with you Jim if you doing any fishing always great to hear all right or anything at all always just it's just appreciative to hear from you Jim okay I'll definitely talk to you soon stay in touch when you can greatly appreciate that Jimmy and God bless you Jimmy God bless Chris and the family I sure do love you all very very dearly!!
