I was thinking the other day about the preacher who was on the Titanic. And when the Titanic struck ice and was sinking. This preacher could’ve gone on one of the remaining life boats. Instead he swam in the freezing freezing cold waters, to preach the gospel to the passengers who struggling to stay afloat. And he told them, have you gave your life to Jesus yet, many had said no. He told them: Believe in the name of the lord, repent and be saved. After some time, the preacher succumbed to the hypothermia. But the good news was because of his willingness at that moment to share the gospel, not worried about his life but rather to reach out to the many who needed something to hold on to. That in essence is what it means to be like the person who is telling the infected ones, this js the cure. This is the cure for your life. Because it works. Jesus is coming back and he is the only way. Good message from Jimmy today. God bless Jimmy and his family and God bless everyone else on this Tuesday morning. Prayers for Israel and America and the rest of the world.

Never set the alarm before. Going to check it today. I'll probably change the ringtone. Finally got in touch with friends in Tampa and NC mountains. All are OK 🙏. Still no power and two no way to get out. The roads are washed out. Even the interstate roads are gone in some places. Whole towns are washed away. From Asheville all the way to Blowing Rock. So sad. Simple? That would be The Plan of Salvation! Jesus made sure that it would be so easy because He wanted even a child to understand it and have the same opportunity for it. No excuses about it being too complicated, too hard, too much to do, just simple stuff. How? Realize and admit that you are a sinner and have no hope except thru Jesus.
Repent, Believe upon the Death, Burial and Resurrection of Jesus to be our Risen Lord and Savior, believing with all of our heart, it is that simple. This also means that you believe in the Virgin Birth, in God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Jesus has paid the price in full when He arose from the grave, defeating Death and becoming our Redeemer, our Risen Lord and Savior. We can never be good enough but that's ok if we surrender to Jesus because He wipes our sin away. When we are Saved, the Holy Spirit fills us and our names are written in the Book of Life. The only unpardonable sin is the sin of rejecting Christ. Does this make us perfect? Nope, but we are forgiven. Yes, we will stumble and fall but we are able to confess and repent then go on. The Holy Spirit convicts us, reveals to us, directs us as well as filling us with Joy. We then Shine for Him by living for Him so that others can see Him thru us. We have the Eternal peace knowing that we will spend eternity with Jesus and the rest of the Saints. Simple, yes, and yet man tries to make it hard. So Shine on Brother, for He took away all of the hard stuff!

I'm so glad I found this legendary fisherman. To see that he's spreading God's gospel is awesome in so many ways. I used to get up early Saturday morning to watch him, not cartoons
The Lord was with me yesterday when I had a blowout on the boat trailer on the highway headed to the lake. I was 50 yards from the nearest exit. Was able to limp to the exit, get to a gas station, or I guess now they are convenient stores with gas pumps. Change the tire and continue on the trip. I did catch fish yesterday so the detour in life wasn't bad. Thank you Lord. Joe
