I have the same model. I always disconnect the battery first. I have to replace the gas line pressure release valve. The return line is rusted. Thx so much. I like the way you think.
I have a question my friend? I have a 05 element and I've replaced spark plugs and coils and injectors.new battery.new throddle body... And when I fill up with gas a get a struggling start for 3 seconds then it goes away soon as I give it gas or after the 3 seconds😢. Any advice for me ??🙏🙏🙏
I appreciate you making this video.. but why did you think you HAD to fix it at the dealer? why not just take it home? (I am glad you didn't though and found the part elsewhere for less.)
Because I have this thing called a job 🤣. Fix it in parking lot clear the light and by the time I get back to the inspection station it could pass. The inspection station isn’t open on the weekends so I had to work a different shift to get this done.

I have an 2006 honda element and im seeing it say this oart # doesnt fit my car. Is this part # year specific?
It shouldn’t be…check using your vin and compare numbers/images
Thank you I figured out the part # on the box in the video is correct. The part # amazon link takes you too is not.
Nice video replacing that evap solenoid
thank you!
Replaced mine.
It did nothing to remedy the error code. Moving over to the canister valve now.
Do you have access to scan tool that can trigger the valve to open and close?

Holy crap that’s a big battery 😳
That’s what she said 🫣
Problem with buying the whole tool set is that then everyone wants you to fix everything.
Charge them for it 🫡
Sorry I don’t see the link to order the part. Please provide one
